  1. 1) My server is empire heavy and very active. when the free month was over fleet was usually at 270 people on fleet during prime time, yesterday it's 28 When I do social query with blank field I get to see name and location of every online player of my faction in one list. Every month there's MLG SWTOR tournaments with huge prizes, at least 3 korean TV channels are dedicated to SWTOR, it's all the rage with world's gaming community, more and more people join the wonderful game. Lucky bastards who play from start are still busy doing class storyline over and over! I'M NOT LISTENING NOT LISTENING NOT LISTENING YOU'RE ALL TROLLSTROLLSLTROLLSTROLLS

  4. This ^ Wording in patchnotes was murky at best. Experimented with rakata chests both obtained after 1.2
  5. inability to kill him is ok (though it would be cool in theory but too much people will whine about loss of healer companion) What really is stupid is the situation itself, event isn't motivated, poorly written and has no consequences. Instead of epic face-heel turn it feels like a poor writer reached into his box of generic grand betrayals and slapped it inbeween all these flowers and underwear short talks with companions. It's quality made me facepalm

I'd like to thank Bioware for Lost Island hardmode in the form it is currently present in game, it's challenging, bug free and absolutely doable given the strategy is ajusted and re-ajusted few times. For the folks still struggling: re-think your strategy if it's not enough for you, soon there will be detailed guides and it will get easier, glad to have done it before there was any walkthroughs. Our group was geared in a mix of columi /tionese/ battlemaster with sin tank having a couple rakata pieces. P.S. Keep trying, change things, it's very rewarding at the end. Felt like I had a night with supermodel.
  7. haha OP is not very good at game and mad about it glad to see some bosses cannot be facerolled while outgearing them by 1.5 tiers. That also says alot of ppl run around in rakata who logically shouldnt
  8. And that is exactly why bosses like this should be present in game. It's big "Hey dude wake up, step off your railway and rethink the way you play for the better"
  9. SWTOR is full of grind (valor rank, ilum crates, mind-numbing dailies)
  10. I think the only way to improve said item is to critically craft your stuff. For example rakata relics and columi implants/ear can be crit crafted for augment slot, no extra stat flavour however.
  11. It's all better to have trash that at least does something and requires some aproach. Contrary to EV where gazillion mobs are just enormous chunks of HP that do nothing

  14. I'd say bioware has not (yet?) developed internal mechanisms for fine-tuning and thus creating precisely competitive content. It took blizzard some years before creating tools to analyse class/guild/raid performance dataz and thus putting bosses where 1% wipe is common onto production line. So yeah my guess is bioware is lacking data, real internal testing and experience on the matter will it improve or not we shall see. vOv
  15. Not to mention extremely poor balance when designing HM/NM. Take for instance EV trash it does nothing to players you just slowly wade through enormous amounts of HP in a chaos of harmless mobs. Or world bosses, 20-30 mins of tank/spank with players of apropriate level. Feels epic man. /facepalm Seems damage and hp values were pulled out of sarlakk pit without any internal testing.
  16. imo most dark INQ lines are very shallow and childish I was tempted to go LS while lvling. BH lines are perfect both LS and DS while SW dark lines are very good (yet bit repetitive) his LS choices sound fair and mature most of the times (tho there ARE alot of exceptions when it's totally out of place) There's no LS/DS there's only stupid side, both red triangle and white snowflake fall to it now and then.
  17. Gear wise entry level to hard OPS is extremely low, I don't get how people can complain about that. Just level 50 blues and/or oranges with lvl 50 mods are more than enough to beat rage timer. It's merely a check if DPS learned how to do their job by the time. What's wrong with that lesson, just do some class research, bind keys, rethink spell priorities and make other minor ajustments if enough people in your raid do the same you wont be seeing raged bosses again. vOv

  19. There are no nightmare FP's. Hard is as trivial as normal just somewhat more HP and better loot

  21. You can play cool story, but there is "roof" for your TPS. Let's say you utilize every single GCD, have all the BiS gear and sitting on the NASA cable by the bioware server hub. Then let's take BH/sniper DPS in identical situation. (Especially if your juggernaut tank is geared for tank role, we can imagine theorethical situation of tanking in full vindicator with DPS consumables and you're likely to still fall behind some classes in on-paper perfect situations) That hardcap is what we're talking about. Class diversity is mind bogglingly vast at those heights.
  22. Just wanna point out that shady voodoo mechanics and imbalanced game with unclear math and indicators is not what makes game hardcore. EQ/whatever fans here are praising lack of info and inconvenient UI for some reason thinking it can make game better. As usual. We can already start making upset countryballs about them.
