  1. ++rep This post sums up my EXACT thoughts on the video and the concept.
  2. Realize that Galactic Starfighter has Dailys and Weekly Missions. They can be located at the PVP terminal on the Fleet in the Combat Area. Daily: Provides you with 750 Ship Requisition (PER EVERY SHIP YOU OWN!!!) per a day. All that is required is that you either A) win (1) match or B) loss (2) matches. Weekly: Provides you with 2500 Ship Requisition (PER EVERY SHIP YOU OWN!!!) and 500 Fleet Requisition. All that is required is that you either A) win (4) matches, B) loss (7) matches or C) a combination of both which equals 7. Overall, do these when you can and you will level up equipment fast and even the ships you aren't actively playing get to level up equipment for no additional cost.
  3. The hope is that they have TONS of matches going so the matchmaking can work in theory... but with the barren *** wasteland we have now. It's always premade vs Pugs...
  4. Absolutely.... NOT This kind of stuff ruins games. FYI - Luke flew an X-Wing with the Force yet Wedge was still a better pilot in the same ship type. This is NOT Gundam... ships do not need jedi/sith influence.
  5. I understand the concept behind their matchmaking, but they should have put in milestones with ship/unlocks, not points accumulated as it will never balance out for the players who play across multiple ships or the addicts who max one and then no others... And you can't tell me Matchmaking is close to working because of population, because as I see it, this few subscribers playing = a really bad investment...
  6. When joining a match and finding that I am getting 7 teammates who only have the 2 default ships, while the other team only has 1 of their 8 players with anything less than 4 ships, we have a HUGE problem. The matchmaking sucks... Honestly, if you want this to take off, you need to focus here immediately. Take a quick lesson from the games you are competing with/ripping off. (Mechwarrior Online, World of Tanks, etc)... You cannot, without external factors, continue to put low level players with top level from the get go. Do you plan for people to hang around if they can't even level? Rock, Paper, Scissors arguments only work if they can take out one another. A light tank can never take out a heavy in World of Tanks, just as a low level ship cannot take out a max level ship here. NOTE: I like this aspect of SWTOR very much, but if you continue on this jacked up matchmaking, you will not retain players or gain new ones. Sure you will have those who only do it, but who will want to play them to try and scrounge up enough points to level up some to complete even close to a level that can actually achieve some success. FINAL NOTE: Waiting 15 - 20 minutes to queue is crap. In that time I can go play 1-3 games short skirmishes in any of the above games. Those of us who are maxed on mutliple characters have no reason to sit in game for times like this....
  7. Bloody hell... oh well. I hope they work on balancing these engagements better. At least in WoT I wasn't fighting top tier against beginners every round like this...
  8. Why do I not see the Gunship in my ship screen? Is there a certain way you have to go about attaining it?
  9. One would hope... these EASY changes would be made ASAP... Especially since space jockies like me are all for doing it. While we are at it, any chance we are going to add the rest of the space missions into the list? All the 50 ups need to be added?
  10. Great Post... These are all correct. Still not fixed as posted before.
  11. I think my biggest issue with this is that I went out and bought the Tier 7 upgrades for this alone. Those of us who enjoy the Space Missions (rail shooters) are at a loss as not only did they lower the rewards for these missions, but they made it so it wasted around 1k in CC. This change needs to be reverted or an optional refund of CC is in order.
  12. Lets see... Sony does it... Blizzard does it... almost everyone else does. It is simple: If I worked for another company, I would hire people to just spam my competition's forums with trolls. A great marketing campaign. Plus, why listen to those who aren't fully dedicated to your game? I wouldn't.
  13. This expansion is hardly pricey..... for 15 hours of content you get a good rate of return. I can remember over a decade ago when expansions for a game like Everquest were huge... but then again it cost the full price of a new game and usually was just a map/quest dump. I think EA/BW should do a "hard copy / Chapter Expansion" every two years, and a digital / content expansion (like this one) every other year. Honestly, if they keep adding a **** ton more customizations / species etc... the legacy will keep this game going...
  14. ^^^^^ Best response ever!!! I almost thought your were sincere till the end!! Awesome post.
  15. TO ALL TCW FANS: This show was cancelled when it jumped the shark.... AKA bringing Darth Maul back...
  16. I am not just listing, I am testing everyone, while assigned a mission vs non mission attempts. Honestly, I don't care what we look at, just as long as BW looks into this.... It is rather annoying to see such poorly tested achievements where they can't even get the description correct (ie. Drexel)
  17. Please look here I have already started documenting this issue yesterday.

  19. What I know: (does not work = does not update. Additionally, all every map tested so far has had EVERYTHING destroyed that was targetable) These are all Mastery tasks.... Archenar Interception: - Disable the Imperial Destroyer old (does not work) - Knock out the Enemy Command Center (does not work) Balsor Outpost: -was completed when I logged in (unable to test) Drexel Sweep: -*** Lists the mastery achievements as completing in "Fondor Escort" - Knock out Enemy Command Center (does not work) - Wipe out Imperial Forces (does not work) Fondor Escort: - Disrupt Enemy Communication old (does not work) - Knock out Enemy Communication (does not work) Kalee Fortification: - Neutralize Capital Ship (does not work) Syvris Evacuation: - Disarm Capital Ships old (does not work) - Protect The Shuttle From Interceptors old (does not work) Zosha Advance: - Fight off the Attacking Frigates (does not work) .... (leaving space as I go down the list) I can confirm that out of all the ones that list an "old" at the end of the required task for mastery achievement, they are not working.
  20. I own (all in a box) every single PC Star Wars game since 1993 (oh and dominated them all). I still remember the excitement I had when I finally beat the T-16 mission in Rebel Assault (it took forever due to a faulty mouse LOL) and the feeling of flying an X-Wing around and doing the Trench Run in X-Wing. Not until Tie Fighter did I learn how an scared you could get flying an unshielded ship, but boy did I love the movement I achieved the Tie Interceptor..... Awww these were the days. I was hoping they would pull a Jump to Lightspeed on this game and make starships into a huge side game. With the crafting system in place, this could have been insane.
  21. Truth: You girlfriend will only complain about more things that make no sense to you.... God help you when you get married, you will need a special decoder ring to try and figure half the **** out.
  22. I am not worried myself about having purchased it in February and missing out on a few days. I do agree though that when they reuse or don't update their advertising when deadlines change, they do mislead the customer. I remember buying it and it still had the same price and statement about "pre-order now to get early access" and only noticed in the fine print that had expired in early January. I personally had thought they extended it due to their lack of removing the pre-order notice when it had already past. Kinda misleading but hey, I have bought a new car or two in my day, so I am used to realizing the advertising is only half-truths...
  23. Honestly, the F2P is not so bad in this game. It was what encouraged me back from retirement. As for these expanded areas.... what is $20?? A drop in the bucket. I can skip a pack of smokes, or drink a 12 pack less a week or a trip or two to McDonalds to get this. Honestly, I am all for these Pay-for-Zone actions... Especially since it is top tier content.
  24. I am having some difficulty understanding what is going on with the new 2.0 Legacy System in relation to space missions. I am a big rail shooter buff (thanks original Rebel Assault) and easily ace each mission as it stands, however there are items listed that are unattainable in the log. They list with the post fix "Old" and do not seem to be able to be completed. I have been successful in completing the new missions, however the "Old" ones never change yet are required to complete out a mission in the Legacy System. Input/Advice/Info = All welcome.
