  1. i don't faceroll as a Seer spec...dunno what u talkin' bout.
  2. i haven't done much pvp yet (47 seer spec 31/7/0 as of now and valor 9) but when i have it is enjoyable. when they start spending their time targetting you then things take a turn as you are pretty squishy. other than that with utilizing your force and noble sacrifices when they pop its really good.
  3. right now i have my sage/character designed for a more dark/sinister look. i have been rank 5 dark since the low 30's and have the following gear: Head - Balmorra Chest - Balmorra Gloves - Balmorra legs - orange skirt feet - orange boots off dark vendor i think the look is pretty pimp and seperates from that "political" type gearing set-up.
  4. i think NS is fine the way it is. dropping the cooldown would unbalance things.
  5. i haven't done a lot of pvp yet (lvl47 / valor rnk9) and so far my routine is FA / Rej / HT and a deliverance or salvation when i have those moments of cast time....obviously as well things change as the situations come and whom youre fighting...but all in all its a "ill do what i can to keep you guys alive as much as possible" mindset.
  6. honestly, what is the point of CHOOSING A CLASS / SPEC at the start and 10th level of the game if you don't want to play that class? christ. if you want to roll a healer, then roll a healer. if u want to roll a dps, then roll a dps. this is a MMORPG....the RPG standing for roll playing game. i picked a healer to start with because i wanted to be a healer. if i want to be a dps, i will then make a dps and switch between characters accordingly to what i want to persue. that is what these games are and why they allow the ability to make multiple characters per server. this is why there is a respec option. this costs funds. if u want to change the way your character is, then u have to pay a penalty for it. if u decided to respec 40 times then u are an idiot.
  7. my god, this forum is filled with nothing but whining (and i am adding to it) about how this game doesn't have this or that from this game or that game and how they need to put it in..... this is its own game. this isn't wow2 or swg2 or rift2 or whatever else game you want to compare it to. this is swtor. it has its own leveling system. it has its own UI. it has its own trade function. it has its own respec system. it has its own bank. it has its own pvp. i can go on and on. if bioware decides to make changes and impliment different things, then they will. as with anything in life, learn to adapt. if you dont' like playing, then cancel your subscription and uninstall the game..... then don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out.
  8. if you want to change your trees, pay the price...my god are you a bunch of whiny babies. played SWG for years. if i wanted to change my character i could but had to dump all my skillboxes and grind back up. in wow, if i wanted to play a different class i had to make a new character. everyone wants to have everything at their disposal. if you want to keep rerolling your toon, suck it up and pay the credits. if you don't want to do that, then make a new toon and grind his *** back up and use him when u need that class.
  9. here is my spec... (i am lvl33) http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600GG0RbbZf00M.1 works very well both in flashpoints and normal missions.
  10. personally, i feel putting the first 2 points into Seer to kill .5s off Deliverance is more important than the extra 100 force in the TK tree. by the time u reach hammer station is when u will see importance of what points u spend where. the lower cast time is essential first....i believe i even went and put the next 2 points into wisdom. it wasn't until lvl 14 and 15 that i put the 2 points into more force. i then felt it was more important to add 1 point to crit to open up the 2nd tier to add the next 3 points into less threat generation and delayed casts from attacks. this is when i went back to the TK tree to put the 3 into lowered force costs and increased force armor. it ultimately comes down to your playstyle....yes the skill changes make a difference but if you don't know how to play your class it won't matter.
  11. correct, but at the same time with the amount of commendations you get the mods off those vendors even though a little lower are essentially free. depending on the GTN they can get quite pricey.
  12. my Jedi Sage Seer is a big thick bulky black miralukan. im a beast.
  13. as a melee attack, no i don't think we should have it as part of our gameplay...as a last resort thing maybe but not as an item of focus. what i would love to see maybe added or implemented though is a saber throw to add to our ranged capabilities. the way the class is now is fine, but the saber is more or less right now just a visual item to reinforce the fact that yes, we are a jedi.
  14. as a Jedi Sage my personal preference of look and style is the hooded cloak with the matching skirt. http://www.torhead.com/item/gzzktCQ http://www.torhead.com/item/4ofhi7r im currently lvl29 but am rolling with the orange set i got from doing some quests and plan on rolling with these same items the entire game. as they are orange i can keep increasing and changing out the mods to coincide with my level. toss in the red crystal and the look goes right with the character i am playing. keep an eye out and you may run into a look you like and just roll with it.
  15. i just hit 29 and have had the TK defense for a couple levels now....that added with the force armor skill in the Seer tree are huge savers....i recommend getting those skills now.
  16. i was going to roll a Jedi Knight as my first character but my buddy and the rest of my guild said "roll a healer, we need one". so i did. looked at the options, and chose jedi sage as it kind of appealed to me. best move i made. i absolutely freaking love this class.
  17. the 7 points in TK are great...3 in less force cost, 2 in added force and 2 in added force armor. i wouldn't recommend dumping into this tree first, unless its to get the extra force but the added force armor mitigation added with the reduced cast time and force cost are a life saver. if i remember right, i put my first 5 talents in the seer tree first (2/1/2) then 2 in the TK tree for added force...then 3 back in seer for less aggro then back to the TK tree for the next 5 points.
  18. i also recently just used my first respec to pull the 2 points out of WotJ and put them into TK Defense. also put the 2 points into the force armor skill on the 3rd tier of the Seer tree....what a difference. now its what to put the next points into....
  19. im level 23 now and just put my first point into inner strength....i find that the 3 points in forsight help me alot more in the earlier levels as it means less delay on my casts if i am taking damage and lowered threat. obviously my lvl24 and 25 will be going into inner strength but you don't "have" to put the first 5 into TK.
