The game would require a whole new A.I code for that to work on npcs. Something EA cheapskate s wont do!

As the title thread says it's time for me to retire from all MMO's! I've been playing MMO's since the JP release of FFXI, since then I've played or tried numerous amount of other games claiming to be different and failed to deliver or I'm just tired of the same formula! ToR expectations from me were low in the beginning (cough****EA***), but I still press forward because of BW. I loved the IA and trooper story lines but the consular story line was just atrocious and could have been written better by a 5 year old with ADHD. Speaking of the consular I can't even finish the quest "The Ultimate Warriors" due to a bug. It's been this way for about 3 weeks now, I've sent in a ticket and they still haven't fixed it yet just a we are looking into the problem, so i tried repairing the game still no fix. After awhile i just gave up on consular. The General run down of mmo's below, Im tired of! The Gear Treadmill I'm tired of having to upgrade to new gear every month! I've done this enough in World of Borecraft! Nothing wrong with upgrading just not so frequently, look at the Legendary Weapons in wow, totally useless! This takes me to my next topic. The Real Game Begins at max level ?? Heard this several times not in just only here and WoW, but as-well as in other games. Why should levels 1-?? be about rushing through stuff to just to do endgame? ToR did slow it down from 1-49 with the class quests but some of these story lines are hit and misses! why not have some other fun stuff to do in between? (I'm not going to get into suggestions here I'll write that in the suggestion box.) No Sand/parks I never got a chance to play SWG but I do believe this would keep alot of gamers subbed as there would be options to do other stuff before max level! LoL talk to me because a summoner/whitemage, Redmage/Ninja, Beastemaster, ninaj/thf and Bluemage could all Solo t5he game pretty much 1-75 and even solo Genbu and Kirin ecept the Summoner! I did it as a RDM/NiN and NiN/Thf just takes perfect execution, food and drinks, and good kitting skills! I made 100's of millions of gil soloing/farming notorious monsters and coffer hunting in that game!

Rift isnt an all that game, but its better than wow! My opinon. I've played that game before and its bland at best! Uninteresting story and mty zones to on alot of servers.

There's a sandbox game called archage online that is to release soon in Korea this year and a possible NA release in mid 2013. The game is appealing to western gamers.

BW totaly F'd up the game as an whole should have made KoTOR 3 and made Mass Effect into an MMO!

Believe it or not but I do not raid, I've done enough of that gear grind in wow and stopped doing it in wotlk. I like the other aspects like PvP, story, crafting, making money, and if there were anytype of sandbox qualities in this game id be doing that also.

BW/EA did nothing but copy and paste and added some story to an already popular storied franchise. Not for one second did I ever get hyped about this game , FFXIV already burnt me.

If solo endgame rewards are the same as 8/16 man's then why would I want to pay 60.00 USD for the game then 15.00 usd a month for a Kotor 1 and 2 with online chat? I want a challenge from the game. Like a lot of you my game time to play is limited to weekends only with a ocassional week day to play! I have 2 kids, a wife, a job I work at 10hrs a day 5 days a week . I shouldn't expect solo raids to progress what took others weeks or months to get. After you soloed to get the gear you want would you still continue to pay your sub? The game already has limited speed bumps and curves.

I somewhat oppose it but will vote for it as long as the rewards are extremely dumbed down no bis equivalent gear and no special mounts. Yes for orange non stat gear. The only reason Strathelhome Deathcharger was soloable was because the raid was 2 years outdated.

I think Games like EvE, FFXI, and even worst FFXIV (total failure) has more ppl out in the zones then this game does with the earlier having 300k subs each and FFXIV even less around 30k pre-sub enforced in Jan!

GW2 seems like it might become something new its to be seen, Tera online seems like another Aion scantily clad gear ( the game seems like its made for pedophiles a.k.a Popori females), and Archeage looks like they are trying to innovate ,but that game is still at-least 2 years out from a western release!

What I'm saying is this game is no where being a sandbox type game its still a predetermined set path! -Advance Class: yeah maybe be called "Advance Class" but a Consular is nothing but either a Mage/Healer or Rogue! -Crafting: Is a joke! you can have only 1 craft and gathering! -Data crons: Still have to go onto sharded/empty/lifeless planets! -Legacy System: I can agree that this is sandboxy as it has "Potential" -More to come: We'll see about that as the game has been coded and we all know EA are just a bunch of lazy slobs!

It's not that He's truely bored of MMO's I believe because if that was so alot of gamers would really have been tired of games in general since the ps1/N64/dreamcast days all games are the same just that they all have more cinematics and better graphics! It's the direction of the MMO that has become stale! WoW did it and got 12 million gamers is what BW/EA and other Publishers all said! If they would truely tried to have innovated and progressed MMO's, maybe they would have started a new FAD! Can't speak for everybody but once you have done the Trinity, gear progression, themeparks, removed any type of challenge, instanced PvP, and Skill trees then you really get tired of the same game with the same cake and icing but with a different color texture!

ToR and WoW are nothing but like Phantasy Star Online for Dreamcast, nothing but a chat lobby, you group up and move out to your map to play! If you put lipstick on a pig its still a pig!

To be honest if its any game I've played that had the best community was FF11 and Pre-BC WoW (actually right before 40 man naxx)

If your upgrading the GPU better look into a different PSU as that 550 may need more power than that 220!

I'm not having a problem on my end FPS wise i run 100 fps and in crowded places with alot of action going on like Wz's maybe 70ish FPS. this is still done on a 2 year old AMD Black edition i built myself! P.S. most human eyes cant tell the difference past 60fps.

actually it does solve the problem "YOU NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE THE FLEET OR RAID" the gear is mailed to you...........! So why would you need to X-server they can also give you a 700% DMG buff and a 700% def buff if you still wanted to raid!

Here's a solution Just give ppl free gear that way u never have to leave the fleet or have to group.

I don't assume the minority/majority. I look at BW/EA this way if they feel they can pull more ppl into the game by adding something as X-server LFG they might and its where I'm putting my eggs in the basket other than that I personally think it damages the community but I'm not going to waste time debating over it because in the end EA will have the final word! not BW! See the Madden and NBA Live (NBA ELITE) series........
