  1. Switching to mobile worked perfectly. It's also much easier to read than physical auth. Plus it shows how long the key is valid (RSA is always 60 seconds). If you have a smartphone I highly recommend it.
  2. Thanks! I thought it was a bug because one of the glowing panels was unclickable and after relogging and resetting the phase it wasn't anymore.
  3. Here's what happened to me: I found all four boxes, but last one. albeit glowing blue, was unclickable. I tried the usual stuff: relog, reset phase etc. Now the Zakuul elites respawned but no other mobs did (like the turrets). Now all panels are unclickable (also not glowing). Made a ticket, no reply so far. Sigh.
  4. Yep, it's unplayable. Gazillion mobs spawning when you go up the elevator. I wonder if this happens only on Tomb of Freedon Nadd.
  5. Can confirm, still bugged but relogging fixed it.
  6. KotFE storyline starts from your personal ships mission console. You also get a warning that if you haven't finished all of your companion quest lines they will be unavailable. If you can't start the storyline from your ship then submit a ticket. I had no problem, currently at chapter 3. edit: Assuming that you are eligible for the early access of course.
  7. Very true, not to mention that they are damn unreliable anyways. Usually have to keep right-clicking those damn things for 5+ seconds before they go off >.>
  8. And actually while we are talking about tanking, I'd like another feature: Introduce a keybind that would make 1 target untargettable with mouseclick. It could still be acquired as target via Target Nearest/Next Enemy or via Acquire Focus Target. Reasoning behind this is that there are many fights where offtank doesn't need to pick up boss unless MT dies, but needs to pick up adds. I prefer targeting with mouse over Target Next Enemy, and in many fights the huge boss' hitbox just gets into way and you end up targeting the boss instead even if you leftclick directly on the add.
  9. I main tank. It's not a huge issue for me, I can always hover my mouse over a spawning add to see when I can pick it up, yet it feels clumsy that I have to wait for the add to "activate" before I can target it / taunt. I don't mean that people should be able to damage them before they activate, but at least make them targettable and preferably also tauntable. It would make the already stiff combat mechanics feel more smooth. I'm talking about e.g. jetpacking adds on Cademimu, adds coming from elevators in Black Talon, Droids adds in Toborro's Courtyard just to name a few.
  10. That there are no personal class quests. This was still unclear for many people
  11. Yep, it actually is a positive thread! I really enjoyed the Makeb storyline on Imperial Side (Don't have 50 pub yet). It was very well written. There was drama and the plot was solid. I thoroughly enjoyed all the class stories in vanilla (especially IA one), but looking back I wouldn't have felt bad if the Story aspect had been more like Makeb because it would have, to put it straight, been cheaper to make and resources could've been allocated to other departments. I like it how the story is the same for all classes in the same faction, yet it has been minorly tailored so it feels like it has been written for your class. I don't care what the haters say, 8 EUR/10 USD for all that we got was a steal. Sure it could've been a free content patch but w/e, movie ticket costs 10 EUR and gives you 2 hours of entertainment. And I've just finished the main story line, there's still stuff to do :> TL;DR: Makeb story is really solid.
  12. Yes, I'm using all the keys around my movement keys plus the extra buttons on my mouse. You can also bind, say, Thumb mouse button on bar1 for something, and then something else on bar2. For example on my SA I have Wither on thumb button while Bar 1 is active, but Force Speed when Bar 2 is active etc.
  13. Disclaimer: I do disagree with the direction of F2P, namely UI unlocks. I do however understand that this is investors call, not devs one. Personally it doesn't affect myself as I'm a subscriber so let's leave that, just stating that I think the current model hurts more than helps. EOD. Besides that I whole-heartedly congratulate the content team with Section X and HK quest chain. Theoretika's athmosphere was spot on, definately my favorite quest in the game so far. It really felt like creepy ghost ship . The scavenge quest for HK's parts was really fun for one reason: It really brought the server together. We had ops groups coordinating and triangulating the positions, spreading out and scanning. I can see obtaining HK-51 later on being a bit of pain when there aren't 20+ people scanning the areas, but for now it was great experience and promoted the social aspect of MMO's, something that has been lost for a long time. TL;DR, Content team please keep pushing out events and quests like this, that promote teamwork server-wide with people you haven't met or talked to before.
  14. It really took maybe 4-5 hours to unlock him with lev50 char. First people whine that there's nothing to do at lev50, then they whine when you DO need a lev50 to do something. Sigh
  15. It would be nice, although GW2 failed to implement crafting directly from your bank/collectible tab. Heck, you can't even check if you have those 8 tiny fangs to craft an inscription without going to crafting station. Both games could copy the 'cool things' from each other to make it more accessible And yeah, I feel that WvWvW is really watered down version of DAoC's RvR. I mean, only 1 frontier + central zone and small popcap? Having to sit in queue for 3 hours during primetime?. Learn from DAoC, not from GW2 regarding that. And don't bring up the 'performance issues', they could easily implement methods that DAoC used to help FPS issues (models drawing with no / lower textures at cliprange, only your partys spell effects showing on screen etc)
  16. Should be pretty straightforward to find out. Lowest one costs 10k I think. Find a mobpack, kill them. Purchase perk and kill similiar mobpack. I'd test it but can't login atm. Good question though.
  17. Yes if your attitude is that you should be able to purchase everything RIGHT NOW with zero effort. Run Black Hole and other dailies on your lev50. Play the game normally. You'll net tons of cash. Start crafting, sell moddable items with nice looks, or stims, or augments or whatever on GTN. People buy them constantly.
  18. They are ridiculously cheap. If you have a lev50 and want to roll alts you can easily buy all companion gift + companion dialogue + experience + lower level for speeder etc etc etc. Most of the perks are meant to help you level up smoother. But yea, other option is that they could cost millions and be legacy (= benefit max 7 chars due to charslots). I'm not flaming, but still going to say: Please think before you post.
  19. 3 full instances of fleet + 4th instance = 750 + 4th. On Freedon Nadd 5mins after SWTOR's Twitter post that servers were up. Was running much more smoothly than before. So, please, stop making assumptions when you're not even online.
  20. Oh what a HORRIBLE Extended maintenance. Ps. At least all EU are UP
  21. Kinda moot post since there hasn't been a single _server merge_
  22. I know this will probably never happen, but could we get remodeled versions of high-level chests without ridiculous shoulderpads. They look stupid and simply have no function, especially on Force-wielder armor. So many moddable lower level, even level 10 chests look much better IMO On topic: http://thenoobcomic.com/index.php?pos=357
  23. It's 12,99 EUR and it includes Value Added Tax which is the prime reason for all the "omg EU pays more than US" QQ At least that's how it is in most European countries, can't speak for all though, cba to do that much research Now you're talking apples and oranges. You can't compare the business models.
  24. I upgrade my PC every 4 years or so unless something breaks, might upgrade GPU bit more frequently... Because I have zero problem playing with 1280x1024 rez on my 19" LCD and keeping Medium-High graphics instead of Ultra You know there are students, young people who don't get fed everything they ask from their parents and so forth, unemployed people etc.?
  25. Expansions have always meant bigger additions to the core game that you buy with additional fee. Content patches are that - bigger patches that are free and add some new module to the game, as well as of course tons of fixes. I wasn't saying you wrote that post yourself or that it was your 'fault', I'm saying whoever wrote it (be it even EA rep) is clearly a moron and doesn't know the common terminology at all.
