Agreed. For me the game is good, but I can tell the focus enforced by EA is only on easy money makers. Still lots of unfixed bugs, no word on new playable species. Cathar was a bit of a let down. The looks and styles you see in game aren't available. I wanted to make a Cathar not a tiger man. Still class restrictions on orange gear so comps can't use it. All the new emotes should be free. Ridiculous. Hoods are already a separate part of the costume, and there aren't that many styles. Make a down version for each style and a toggle that switches between them. All over the place post, but you get my drift.

I recommend submitting bug reports, often, until you get a good reply on this.

I'm sure this bug is a side effect of trying to keep the frustration level high for datacrons. Using push/leap to/pull powers you and a buddy can skip all the annoying balloon and freight box rides they try to make you do. And apparently that is a big no no. No to teamwork and ingenuity, yes to repeating frustration on every character.

I really don't get that, it's not like it's someone with no power, it's an actual Jedi, and that idiotic thing they are doing is more powerful than any weapon and works on most people. I your bounty hunter weren't a PC it probably would have worked on him. Just can't see the humour in that line.

Are you talking about Russian Tauntaun, or Tundra Tauntaun from Canada? They actually sound quite different.

That's odd, I swore when I checked the Rep subscriber vendor his tauntaun also cost 20 tickets.

I could see them removing that restriction for APAC to US servers, because even low level characters will get moved eventually. They probably had it setup like normal transfers, then realized the mistake.

Research has yet to prove any correlation between File Transfer Protocol and idiocy Nor F2P for that matter. I can assure you there have been idiots long before F2P, and they will be around for years to come.

Or until something better comes along, which is my point, I'm sure tons of people are just waiting for something else to come along to leave. The beter the game becomes, the less people will leave, and more will come back. It is a very different game, not social enough for me. Just the F2P system was much better is what I was saying.

That isn't saying much, satisfied enough won't keep people playing for years. This game has a management problem. They are more worried about making quick money than creating a sustainable cash flow. I just paid to unlock Cathar and I was upset at how few hair options they had. Obviously part of a plan to charge for a hair pack in the future. Nothing wrong with bringing our an additional option pack, but charging people for a pack with intentionally limited options is just insulting. I'm only here because I like MMORPGs, and there isn't another out there now I want to play at all. As soon as something pops up I'm out and hopefully not coming back. I certainly won't be buying anything else from the cartel market before finding out if EA is being a shyster again. I think more free for subscriber content is required. And F2P are too limited. From playing Neverwinter the difference is amazing. They need to focus on what made this game popular and put some real work into it. Work on the story, fix bugs, do something WoW didn't do. Right now SWTOR is a great example of how not to run an MMORPG.

Exactly. There is no way any sane intelligent person looked at the options and though it was sufficient. Someone at EA told them to only give a few options so they can charge for more later. They could have given a decent amount and charged for more later, but they are just being lazy and greedy. I just came back to the game because nothing else out there is any good (for now) but if this is the way they continue to run the ship I'll be leaving as soon as something better turns up. Shame really, this game had so much potential.

Exactly! Cathar only have about half as many options for hair styles compared to other races. Obviously planning to release a hair styles pack. Just came back to the game, but I'll be leaving again as soon is something halfway decent comes out if they keep this up.

Only thread I fond on the subject . . . seems Cathar did get the short straw of the hair styles pick. They have about a half to a third of the other races, for a paid race. And now they are charging for additional hair styles and skin/eye colours. If they are limiting the hair options so they can charge for an extra pack at least bring the extra pack out!

That's the thing, you are assuming that there won't be enough people flagged to make it enjoyable for you. You may very well be right, there won't near as many people as a US server, but then again there is the time zone thing, and the ping thing. The idea of delayed transfers is that you aren't wrongly assuming what will happen and actually get to see what happens. In any event, BIOWARE/EA, please do something NOW!
