  1. Maybe the pillar you need to drop on Soa could just cast a shadow on the ground showing you the area it's going to land.
  2. Do you have any plans for expanding space combat beyond just adding more missions? I don't need specific details, I would just like to know if anything is on the drawing board.
  3. 786k but with only 11 kills! To be honest I'm more impressed by the healers you were fighting against
  4. I think these replies go to show, both can be effective and fun. Jug will be more versatile, especially with a dual spec system coming in patch 1.2, but at the end of the day just choose whatever you find fun to play.
  5. While it's true that warriors are a bit underwhelming you should have no issue obtaining the 2.5k damage medal. Just make sure you are using vicious throw whenever you can, that will always crit for over 2.5k unless the target has defensive buffs or bubbles on them.
  6. Just something I would like to see would be Sweeping Slash be turned into a full 360 degree aoe instead of a cleave. I mean it's hardly as if it's that strong an attack in the first place and npcs in this game hate stacking on one an other. I just think this small change would help warrior aoe a bit.
  7. Even though I have pvp gear and have spent a lot of time getting it I hate the fact that if I run into a fresh level 50 in a WZ he has absolutely no chance against me, that is not fun for either of us. In my mind pvp should be competitive and skill based, that is what makes it fun. But this whole attitude many of the high ranks have that their gear needs to be absolutely amazing so only somebody that has spent as much time as them can stand a chance is just pathetic.
  8. Screw that, gear should be weak so that player skill is more important than time spent playing. You just want to be able to kill 90% of people with worse gear than you with one hand. Having more challenging fights because gear isn't as important is much more fun in the long run than face-rolling people with less gear.
  9. Very simple reason, you're imperial. Want a change? Roll Republic.
  10. Do you have plans to expand the space combat beyond simply adding a few new missions?
  11. What on earth is your problem with this? Firstly the nerf to rakata stims is only slight and the exotech stims that they are now equal to are hard to obtain since the recipes only drop from ops. And your forgetting one HUGE thing, the Rakata stims are REUSABLE! It doesn't matter what I'm doing or where I am I will always have my stim up.
  12. It's a very shallow and ignorant view to say that all Imperials are evil while all the Republic are nice and good. The fact is that both sides have their share of good and bad people serving. Just look at WWII, we tend to look at the Nazis as being evil, and while there were some of the most evil people in history serving with them, the majority of the German people were just normal people fighting for their country. Also this topic reminds me of why I think the restrictions on colour crystals is stupid, especially for the non-force classes who when given a choice would simply pick whichever colour they liked the most and wouldn't care about traditional jedi and sith lightsaber colours.
  13. The most simple solution for me would be to just remove the light/dark restrictions off the gear. I don't know why but bioware always seems to like rewarding one dimensional players who always pick the same type of choice over and over. Those of us who actually take an interest in the stories they have made and care about our characters more than always taking the darkside option no matter what it is only get punished. My main is a sith warrior and I've managed to get dark side 5 thanks to diplomacy and repeating flashpoints since my choices leaned more towards dark than light. However if I pick just ONE lightside option I lose access to my relics and speeder until I can get more dark side points. So that's 104 endurance and the buffs those relics give that get removed from me. We should never be punished for playing our characters with any sort of depth and caring about the decisions we can make.
  14. Yeah I was able to get dark V through diplomacy missions and repeating flashpoints, but my problem is that if I pick a lightside choice in something then I lose access to all my dark V gear. It's not too hard to get back to dark 5, just do a couple of diplomacy missions, but I'm still being punished for making thoughtful choices, that shouldn't happen.
  15. And to you people saying that you shouldn't reward people who have "commitment issues" you clearly don't understand how multidimensional characters work. My main is a sith warrior who is devoted to the success of the empire and will stop at nothing to crush the republic, however he has respect for the ordinary men and women serving in the imperial army because he knows that the empire cannot win without them. Those are just a couple of his character traits, so be quiet about your stupid "commitment" our characters have commitment, far more than you do just mindlessly picking the dark or light option without a care in the world about what it is.
  16. Yeah I ended up doing this, along with diplomacy, but I just think it's a shame we are punished for actually caring about the decisions we can make in the game.
  17. I personally think that the current system ruins the whole role-playing aspect to this game because the only sorts of characters that are rewarded are the one dimensional self sacrificing saints or the bloodthirsty sadists. If you try to play your character with any sort of depth you should end up taking both light and dark options in conversations depending on the situation, but by doing that we end up denying ourselves chances at better loot and items that are restricted to dark or light side. I don't think just adding a third set of items for people who are in that thin neutral level is an answer either because then they just have to worry about balancing all the decisions so as not to lose the neutral standing. This wouldn't be any help to a coldblooded sith with a soft spot in his heart for ewoks and jawas. I would just like to see the light/dark side restrictions on items removed, it's a simple change and many of those restrictions don't really make sense. Take the colour crystals, what would a ruthless and greedy smuggler care about the traditional lightsaber colours of the jedi and sith when it comes to the colour of his blaster bolts? He likes green so why can't he have it? And even for the force users, just because a sith player is light side does not make him a jedi, so if given the choice it's probably more likely that he would stick with the traditional sith red lightsaber. The relics were a pain to get too because I hadn't been only choosing one side in every conversation. I remember in mass effect 2 you had a similar system but it's rewards were linked to the conversations. At the start of the game I was fine and could still win those advanced conversation options but as the game went on I couldn't win any of them with my grey character. I just think it's a real shame that the people who are rewarded in a role-playing game are those who don't give a toss about what choice they pick and will always only pick good or light, but those of us who like to make an actual character and think about the choices they make get left aside.
  18. Personally I would be happy if they removed the biochem restriction on the purple reusable stims and medpacks so that everyone could buy and use them like all the other items crafted by other professions.
