Mainly interested in the 1st question. I have a crazy amount of CC saved up from before I left and would like to use some of them to transfer servers. I have been on POTF all day and have come across only 3 people on fleet. I am sure that is not where people hang out anymore. ( now that I mention that where do players congregate these days?) Do any of the US east coast servers have a descent population?

Hey guys! Just a couple of quick questions. I just subbed again for the 1st time since the Hutt Cartel expansion and I am a little lost. 1st question. What servers are actually populated these days. All of my characters are on POTF. It seems dead. Is there a better server I can transfer them too? 2nd and I'm not sure if is allowed here or not but is there some guide or link someone could share that would get an old player up to speed on what has changed, what is new, and basically where to start? I have 3 level 55's and a lvl 40. Thanks for the help and any advice is much appreciated.

I would give up my cast heals for sure 100%. The bubble should not be included in the equation. If I could spec into more dps in lieu of my cast heals .... Done sign me up...

This response from the Devs does seem to contradict the response from the sage/sorc thread a week or so ago.

It does appear based on their response that they do in fact have a hybrid tax. Even though they have said since the beginning that there was not one. If that is the case and that is the stance they are going to take going forward, could those of us that chose this class for DPS purposes please get a 1 time class change into one that they view as a true DPS class. Just a thought. If nothing else take my heals away.... and give me more cowbell "Guess what? I got a fever, and the only prescription is more DPS!

I guess mine would be closest to D. I had 2 packs left. Opened 1 pack. Got 2 items. 1 pack left 1 pack left. Opened 1 pack . Got 1 item. 0 packs left. So yeah at this point I submitted ticket and will let them solve it. I am glad to see I am not the only one something like this has happened to. That is what I was most interested in.

I can't recall one ever being introduced this late in the game. Usually offered at launch if it will be offered at all.

No I had plenty of space in my inventory. I am just chalking it up as a bug and submitted a ticket. I am just curious if it has ever happened to anyone else out there as it was a 1st for me.

Well 1st off when I opened the pack and it plays the animation then the box pops showing the items only 2 items showed up on the 4th pack and only 1 items showed up when the box popped on the 5th pack. My inventory was clean of mats and boost so I know it was not a stacking issue. This is the 1st time I have ever had only 1 or 2 items show up with the opening of the pack.

I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else. I looked and could not find anything. I purchased 5 of the Contractor's Bounty packs this morning. I opened the 1st 3 packs without any problems then on the 4th pack I received just 2 items, thought I was going crazy or missed something. Checked and did not it only came with 2 items. Opened the 5th pack and only received 1 item a companion gift. I thought these were supposed to give 4 items total. Has anyone else experienced this situation? Thanks, Skoal

Well himself and others who go that route would not be losing anything. As stated they would be gaining their sub fee back. Who would be losing is Bioware & the rest of the active sub base. Why? Well besides the obvious reason of loss of revenue from the PVP subs that will go F2P, it will also mean less development dollars for the company to create more content. Now this could be the initial scenario. If somehow they think that opening up the WZ's will attract people to sub then it may pull the revenue back in down the road. However I just don't see this happening. Of course that is just my opinion and like the Dude says: "Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man."

I would support this 100% as this move absolutely devalues the Sub as it stands.

Well that is good for the F2P'ers .... 1 step closer for me to try out F2P for myself. Now just open up FP & OPS and I will give it a whirl.

Wow two updates in row now where this is getting pushed back. This is a major bug.... I am sad to see it can't be figured out by the team in Austin in a timely manner. This has been going on since 2.0 and we are now going to go past 2.2.3 It's not like this is a graphical issue. This is a complete game breaker. This should not have to wait for another update to be corrected. Sorry for the rant but how long ago did 2.0 roll out. My frustrations are starting to get to me. P.S. Thanks for the update Amber! As someone about to ding the big 40 I can assure you I am far from a modern player. What I am is someone who calls it like I see it. Regardless of if the players dictated the make up of the reward systems in game or not, it is what is. The rewards are a part of the game and something a lot of gamer's want now. Just part of the evolution of the industry. Good or bad not for me to decide!

I think gear should matter. It's all about the gear in my mind. Just the nature of the way the game is set up. Skill is a secondary factor. Without the gear what rewards are left for PVP'ers ? To me it's the same as people wanting to go into a NiM Ops with all greens on and fresh at 55. They may have better skill but that sure as sh** aint gonna carry them through the encounter. So seriously without the gear what is the point ? What are the rewards for PVP'ing b/c as it looks to me know it is only gear..... all you would have left is bragging rights and that aint gonna keep people around for very long. So if you get rid of PVP gear you might as well get rid of PVE gear to and let the entire game be based on the merits of skill. I should not have to grind out weeks of lower tier ops and fp's for the gear so I will be competitive in raids, because my skill should merit my competitiveness. Right?

Yes sir all in game items... of course it would have to be different things for TOR but that is a good flow chart to copy!
