  1. What hardcore PvP we're talking about here? 4 tiny playpens. One of them doesn't belong in "war" scenario, another one is just horrible design flop. No outdoors PvP at all, no ability to raid enemy capitals, no rewards for participating. Gear comes solely from time invested into "doing PvP", there is no rating that you must gain to get your gear. The more you play, the more gear you get. Your personal skill means you might be getting your stuff a little bit faster. Where is hardcore? This is as casual, as it gets.
  2. As Light V Bounty Hunter, I never kill people just because I can. I have nothing to prove to myself. I also view my current employer, The Sith Empire, as rather ineffective entity, based on fear and run by bunch of shortsighted cretins. But, credits are credits, and I won't walk away from good contract just because it is being posted by a person who is likely to be killed by his superior or subordinate in some silly power play.
  3. Let's just say I'll be amazed if character data is not stored on separate secure array and if server content (geodata) is rolled back, the worst thing that can happen to you is that you end up on the Fleet instead of the last spot you logged off.
  4. Well, I sorta feeling down with design decision that DPS lightsaber-wielding classes are restricted to either dual-wielding or using saber-staff. I like single saber style a lot more, but due to game mechanics playing guard/jugg is nowhere as rewarding (in terms of DPS), as sent/mara. I'd play shad/sin, but I just can't get it out of my head how clumsy their fighting style actually looks like.
  5. I tried across 4 different chars with different armor classes and styles. Not for one of them unify colors for helmets works. It might be hard to notice if you're using already more or less matching items, and if you're using items from same set it doesn't do anything at all, but if you pick a piece with completely different paint scheme (and that's very easy for trooper or bounty hunter), you'll see that helmet doesn't respond in any way to unify colors rule.
  6. I hope you don't say "Akiva" anywhere where Akavi can hear it, since she is very likely to bash your head in with your own leg... And no, Akavi is not very interesting as she is rather straightforward and direct. "Are you coming on to me? Ok, I don't mind. Give gifts now."
  7. They should really downgrade all HEROIC 4 into 2+ since it's it was almost impossible to find random group for Voss, Belsavis and Corellia even first week after the game launched, now there are barely 10-15 players on those worlds at the prime time. Of course, you can try make your guild mates stop doing what they doing, endure 10 minutes of loading screens and space stations to come and help you, but... I can't bring myself to do that. You can also try to build your group at the Fleet, but so far I've managed to bring 3 groups together like this. 3 groups in 3 months. Most people don't even respond to Global chat anymore, everyone just does class and planet quest lines, clicks off heroics in the mission log and forgets about that planet altogether, there is no point of being anywhere, but the Fleet when you're level 50 anyways.
  8. Interesting thing that all Trooper humanoid companions wear heavy armor with main stat being Aim. Basically that means you can just kit your companion with your older gear or mods.
  9. Well, the main quality of special forces soldier is an ability to follow orders while completely ignoring his own internal moral compass. Orders are orders, you can leave guilt trip for those who gave them.
  10. And fire (elemental) damage ignores armor, so you don't really have to crunch those numbers at all :]
  11. It's been explained in great detail by Taugrim's guide. Long story short, tank stats are not very good in PvP, due to many attacks either ignoring your armor or not being affected by your shields.
  12. People are complaining, simply because one moment they're channeling their UNLIMITED POWAH routine, and next moment, they're lying face down in the dirt, and some guy in a duster 20 levels higher is ripping them to shreds with a shotgun. Them. Sith Lords. In a dirt. Unacceptable. Please nerf fast.
  13. Following Imperial Agent story line and meeting lots of wacky "sith lords" I realized, that all I need to do to ruin the Empire is just step back and, well, that's it, stop doing anything. Stop cleaning up after sith and fixing things they break, and in 10 years all they will be wearing rags and speaking in rawrs. Because, honestly, they're just bunch of clueless morons who somehow came to power over ordinary people, but lost most of their sense along the way.
  14. Scrappers wreck everything and laugh while doing it. But, shhhh, don't tell, since there are like, what, 10 of us?
  15. Well, yeah, UI is somewhat lacking, to put it mildly. Personally, I'd like customization options to raid bar, so instead of seeing rows of those tiny icons I can't really read anyways, I only see colored dots, with red dots being dispellable debuffs I can remove and green dots being active HoT's. I don't need all that other info on my raid bar, since I don't really care what buffs or debuffs are there if I can't do anything about them anyways. I'd also like UH notification to be visualized, since the only effect we have is SRM laugh ques (and everyone can hear them, including other scoundrels, which makes it confusing).
