  1. Yes, you are on the right track. I prefer the spec with 5 in Defense (the left tree).
  2. Make sure you are picking up the quests (non-flashpoints) that start in the orbital stations. Those are the planetary story questlines usually, and really do increase the number of quests you can take exponentially.
  3. It has a 60 second timer before it kicks you.... that would mean you would have to miss the door 3 times. Which WZ does this happen to you in?
  4. If they have these in Madden, then they will certainly be here in SWTOR. There is almost nothing to market in Madden, and they still get a hefty amount of funding from Xbox Live microtransactions. Welcome to Electronic Arts. Providing funding for the biggest extortion schem- I mean games.
  5. With the hyper-advanced technology of Star Wars, why can't I just check it on my personal computer/holocommunicator that is in my pocket?
  6. Only a 40 Guardian here, but it really is one of our only good moves in Focus. The entire spec revolves around Sweep and to a lesser point, Bladestorm. Sweep by itself isn't that great. What makes it great is we talent for 30% extra normal damage all the time, then after our buildup stacks to 4 (which takes just a few seconds) it gives 100% extra damage to Force Sweep. In addition to that, when we use either of our Jump skills (1 is 10-30m range, the other is 0-10m range) we auto-crit Sweep for the next 15 seconds, and both the buildup, and the auto-crit can only be used once.
  7. Those two classes can fill every type or role. That's why they are so popular. Consular/Inquisitor = Shadow tank, Shadow DPS, Sage DPS, Sage Healz Bounty Hunter/Trooper = Mercenary Healer, Mercenary DPS, Powertech DPS, Powertech tank That is why I think they are the most commonly played.
  8. Everybody on the forum? Aren't you complaining about the complainers by making this complaint thread? We understand you are doing well in 1v1s, good for you, but it is my opinion (notice I didn't say it was a fact) that we need a little love. Vig could use a little love specifically, and Defense could use a lot of love in threat generation. It is generally a bad idea to go onto a class' forum and tell everyone to stop complaining. At this point in the game, all the classes still have minor bugs and some oddities.
  9. Your rotation can only be done once every 45 seconds. Also, Push and "Chock" as you call it should only be used as interrupts, or "Chock" can be used for building Sweeps. And your wasting your Momentum proc by using Force Leap twice. And you don't mention Overhead or Zealous. You are too low of a level to analyze or give any substantial help to this class. Beyond that, your rotation is bad, you're over-exaggerating, you have shown little to no regard for our talents, and I'm not really even sure if you play a Guardian.
  10. The only thing I can think of you doing would be selling the piece for 12k, then refunding someone what you deem to be an appropriate amount. Obviously, everyone only needs 1 of these pieces, so you would only refund once. That increases the amount of work you have to do for each piece. But, that was what I thought of off the top of my head.
  11. I mean even if we only got 1 armament for destroying those vehicles, it wouldn't make too much of a difference... It would take 30 destroyed vehicles, meaning 10 spawns and respawns just to complete the daily. Camping the Republic base would still be better. I just want to find out what part of the Legacy is supposed to help people want to switch factions...
  12. Soft cap for Surge is somewhere between 200 - 250.
  13. Unfortunately the best maximization is also pretty costly. Buy the Heavy set, AND the Medium set and change out the mods. In all honesty, once you hit 40, you will be dominating warzones with or without maximization. Just get the accuracy set for level 40 and you will be fine!
  14. Sweep bombing ftw! But, the weakest class overall in PvP? Hmmm. I guess I could agree with Guardians. Sages are great, Shadows are pretty good, Scoundrels are good, Gunslingers can be good, Sentinels can be great, Guardians can be ok, Vanguards can be good, Commandos are good. If you are a high-skill player, or put the time into SWTOR to become one, then I would say Sentinels are 2nd behind Sages. Gunslingers can be really awful depending on who is playing them. Guardians are meh in Civil War but good in both Voidstar and great in Huttball. But worst class is still difficult to say definitively. I'll stick with my first answer of Guardians, but Gunslingers (assuming we are talking about PvP) can be just as bad sometimes...
