  1. Current (live) PvP gear (all levels) have some expertise on the locked Armoring, but have PvE Mods and Enhancements. These are itemized differently on pieces (for example, you may get Surge on a BM hand piece while you get Accuracy on a Champion piece). This, coupled with the way diminishing returns work with Expertise, can result in some odd stat progression.

Mixing and matching Mods and Enhancements is an important part of gearing up. For example, you may want to pick up an extra headpiece to strip the mods out and put it in your gloves for optimal output.

Also, Expertise will have a much larger role in 1.2, as the diminishing returns have been re-balanced and BM gear has expertise on all the mods now (Mods, Enhancements, etc). There is more of a linear progression from Recruit gear (new blue PvP) to Battlemaster (WZ) to War Hero gear (Ranked WZ) in regards to power from Expertise. You still may need to mix and match Mods and Enhancements from different pieces to optimize, but I think that is by design.

I did some mixing and matching with my champion gear. How will me doing this with BM gear affect my BM gear in 1.2? Thanks

  2. I am always switching back and forth between my BM and Champ gear because I tank for something and DPS for others. It gets old clicking on each and every piece. I would like to be able to package up a set of gear and apply it all at once.

    Thanks for listening

  3. thats something people say when they think the way THEY play is the ONLY way to play. do your thing if it works for you.

if changing mods in your pvp gear works for you, go for it....i've been thinking about tweaking my pvp mods too.

actually no it's not. Did you read the part where I said this is my first MMO? I really would like to hear why it's a bad build.

  4. your bad for using madness in pvp first off... but yes your main stat should be crit/surge if you want harder/more frequent crits

why is that? I like it and get around 250k in damage per game. My first MMO so just curious to know why "Im bad" for using it?

  5. I see in my champion gear that most all mods are for crit and surg however one or two of my champion pieced has accuracy instead. I'm an assassin using the madness build. Wouldn't it be better for me to remove some mods from my "extra" champion gear stuff and add it to my mods that have accuracy mods?

    Thoughts? Thank you

  6. So my lv 50 assassin has over a million credits and I actually haven't played on him in a few weeks. I don't need to buy anything for him and if I do I can't seem to find it any way.

I also find it strange that in open world PvP I get/lose nothing for killing/dying. Worse case scenario I have to respawn at med center.

So a suggestion that would tackle both....

In open world PvP have a % of credits given to the winner. I thought it would be ideal to say have 2.5% of credits given as long as that amount is no more then 5% of the credits you already have.

    This does two things....

Gives people a reason to group up and do open world PvP...

Drives people to spend credits (drive economy) and not to just sit and hold on to their credits.
