  1. Does anyone have or can post a link to a hybrid, AP, and a Pyro parse from the PTS? All three should be around 3K for them to be competitive.
  2. It's simple - if a dps is healing in a raid - they will not meet the DPS mark. If a DPS is trying to be a tank in a raid - he will be instantly removed . This game has only three Roles - TANK, DPS, HEALER - there is no hybrid role - no support role - there is no raid encounter that requires dps to off-heal or off- tank or off-anything. As it stand snipers and marauders bring more utility then these so called support dps/healers do. Also some advice, if you're asking/making your dps off-heal or off-tank - I suggest you replace your tank and healer because they fail at playing star wars.
  3. Why should Sorcs sacrifice anything - when we have operative dps dominating and we all know how hard they are to take down. How bout those Assassins and Powertechs as well - Jugg DPS is superior to these dps/tank classes as well. How bout - instead of sacrificing - we even out the playing field - and see who the better player is.   4. This game isn't balanced for PVE. To many classes/specs are under performing.
  5. Tie Taunts to stance - other abilities can also be made to work differently depending on the stance/cell used.
  6. Hows your NM progression going with dps assassins and sorcs. Post your videos please.
  7. In Progression Raids, you bring the best - you don't bring subpar classes. If a DPS class it not able to compete with another DPS class - then that class is done. Same applies to tanking and healing. Hybrid tax has no place in this game, if you're worried that the class off spec is going to be too strong in healing and tanking while dpsing in pvp - here is an easy fix. As you choose talents in each tree - they have a negative effect. For example a talent that enhances a dps ability would hinder a tanking ability or heal ability to the point that spending a GCD to heal or taunt would be so small that it would detrimental to use.
  8. None of this addresses the DPS problems facing AP and Pyro. Unless these specs are capable of pulling around 3200+ dps - Marauders (3221.21) and Snipers (3265.68-3629.42) will be the better choice - especially with the utility they bring. Sadly, we had to remove a PT DPS from our raid roster - since he kept trying to taunt and change cells to shield the other dps in the raid - the only thing that succeeded in doing was wiping the raid and lowering his dps even further. Also, I can't wait to see the buffs you have waiting for Assassins/Shadows - they better be substantial for all three specs.
  9. Can we get a response as to why these were taken out? Doesn't make sense since they have existed in previous events and were on the PTS.

  12. Is heatseeker missile broken? Don't think I saw a single one crit for over 3k. Heck my marauder in recruit gear hit harder then that and that was some time ago and now I'm pulling 5-7k crits.

Commando/Mercenary - Arsenal/Pyro - by far the worse AC when it comes to PVP Tactics/Advanced Prototype Vanguard/Powertech - Flamethrower is buggy in PVE/PVP - needs to be made a viable alternative. Shield Specialist/Shield Tech Vanguard/Powertech - needs defensive utilities - shield and kolto are laughable
  15. Actually, I see quite a few. I also see Carnage, Rage, and Ani Marauders....So is the Marauder/Asassin the only class that is allowed to have 3 of its tree's viable for pvp? I goto say that's very close minded. And the other classes either have 1-2 viable specs which needs to become three as well and this also goes for pve as well. If a class spec cannont compete in pve or pvp then that spec must be adjusted so that it is viable alternative.
  16. I primarily play a powertech and marauder and the merc class by far the easiest kill when it comes to pvp. And this is an observation shared by many and unlike you they have expressed what the issues are and even suggested methods on how to alleviate some of the issues plaguing this inferior ac. BTW, when are you gonna post a youtube of your arsenal merc doing excellent in a RWZ?
  17. If that's true - then why does the tree have PVP talents? And care to show us where Bioware stated it was a PVE only spec.
  18. People did complain. A lot suffered from deer in the headlight syndrome and most have found their interrupt button now.
  19. The spec requires 3 tracers. Bioware designed it that way. Without the stacks merc dps is laughable.
  20. Arsenal Mercs play very similar to Snipers – the difference is the Snipers have the tools to get the job done and mercs don’t. Roots, Snares, Immunity to Leaps, and that’s not all. It’s no wonder why the Sniper is superior to a merc in every way. Pyro Mercs are better known as the Poor Man’s PowerTech – and until they are brought up to par they will forever be dwarfed by the superior AC. Pyro needs to kite to survive so give it the tools that it needs to get it done. Powershot must be changed to an instant cast and unload should be replaced by another ability and tied into PPA for the rail shot resets and also give them a reliable snare. From here, the merc ac will also need improvements in defensive capabilities and added utility to earn them a place on a RWZ team. Many people have suggested an ability tied to a jetpack where the merc can disengage and fire a few shots while retreating. Energy Shield also needs to be improved. It’s way past time for this AC to receive some massive changes – and not given changes that are pointless like taking away the knockback from rocket punch and giving the class a melee root which is beyond stupid for a ranged class to have. Until then, I’ll keep playing my marauder, powertech, juggernaut, sniper and I can only hope that those of you playing mercs finally get some much needed attention from the development team but from what I read from Austin Peckenpaugh, it's quite clear he has no idea what he's talking about.
  21. Let's see... 1. Your playing a poor man's powertech....it's a shame your not a powertech. 2. Show us a video as an Arsenal merc. 3. Do the above specs in a rated warzone. 4. Then post the videos. Can't wait to see em...cause mercs are like non-existent on my server cept for the odd one in regular but they don't stay long.

  23. Exploit? Really...just wow. And yours an assassin having trouble killing the weakest PvP class in the game? Btw..where did a dev state which spec is PvP and Pve. Cause last time I checked arsenal has talents suited for pvp.
  24. As a marauder - I love the new rocket punch - where I follow up with a ravage which leads up to a dead merc. This class just get easier and easier to kill with each patch.
