  1. Your weapons and armor can run out of durability and require repair. Check above your portrait, there might be a red icon there.
  2. I think it was a conscious design decision. Huttball specifically opens by saying that "Weapons, name-calling, and cheating ... are all encouraged!" Kinda lame, if you ask me, but at least you can just stop queue-ing if you don't want to deal with them.
  3. As an empire player, I get Huttball a little more often than the others on Black Vulkars server, but mostly late at night. I'm guessing the dark side is also more prone to being night owls. I can't complain too much about balance, either. I've been destroyed a few times when it is obvious that the enemy team has their game together. In counterpoint, my guild did some PvP missions and on one instance of Alderaan, we didn't have a single death among our four players. The only times I've seen an 'unkillable' level 50, I was queued solo, and I'm pretty sure we were trying to take him down with me(at level 40) and a few level 13s(who really don't have the abilities or skill points needed to pull it off) It seems mostly like cohesion makes a huge difference in PvP. Really, I can only gripe that warriors can force jump to the goal line in Huttball; and are nearly unstoppable when they have good passing and 2-3 high skill players helping them.

    PvP Concerns

Uh, wow. Honestly, we can probably count out that level 11 player. He ~clearly~ didn't have the skills or actual ability to play the game yet. Besides that, this guy made excellent use of cover, had great gear, and I didn't see much of an attempt to lock him down at all. (I am confused as to how that level 34 assassin got demolished so quickly). It's true, higher levels give you a massive advantage: through skill points, gear, and additional abilities. Then again, I've repeatedly bested higher level players than myself in the arena. I'd have to investigate this further, but I wouldn't be opposed to the occasional 50's only arena showing up. That all said, your second and third points are true, and terribly annoying.
  5. It's happened MULTIPLE times, now, that I get added late to a Huttball match. This isn't a problem in the other game types, I understand the need to balance teams if someone drops, plus I'll get the same reward for less time investment, so it's nice in that respect. Unfortunately, in Huttball, adding me late does not have this effect. Why not? Because I have to 1) Load. 2) run all the way from the starting area to the barrier 3) Wait for it to go down 4) enter the arena. 5) WHILE the time I spend in the safe zone is being held against me. Unfortunately, invariably, I will get booted from the PvP warzone for spending too much time in the safe area, despite doing everything in my power to get out and actually play. Then, to add insult to injury, I spawn at the Fleet arrival shuttle from Dromund Kaas - instead of in the middle of a tatooine desert where I started, an investment of 300 credits and 15 minutes travel time away. So please, lengthen the idle time by just a few seconds, move the spawn point for late additions to where players spawn after death, or just stop adding people late to the match - it accomplishes nothing but annoyance.
  6. This is the first MMO I've tried healing in. I have to say, I find this all rather exciting! I'm only a 37 sorc, but I've had some memorable and great PvP experiences so far - like this one time, surviving what felt like the entire enemy team in one mission with clever positioning, stuns, shields, HOTs, all my cool-downs, and force speed, while my team melted them all around me. I got 3 MVP votes that game. Another time, 3 of my guild-mates and I went an entire (victorious!) PvP without a single death in our ranks. I felt that was a major personal achievement, and we were rather proud of ourselves. I'm sure you have ~some~ DPS skills you can also use?
  7. I try to look out for the person who did the best job of watching my back. Or - conversely, if I find myself healing one person and keeping them alive while they do great things, my vote will go there. One recent huttball ended 0-6. I did not give any MVP votes on that occasion.
  8. I feel strongly that this screenshot is missing a "/played" command.
