It is worth mentioning that this particular creature one shots everything and was not meant to be killable...and the server that did it was Rallos Zek, the PVP server. It took hundreds of people who usually were after each other to organize and execute, and they had to do TWICE what had never been done and was never done again, because the first go around a GM despawned it right before they killed it. The community rallied and raised hell and they reset the sleeper to let them go again, then they won. TIL There are people literally forced at gunpoint to PVP TIL People who primarily PVE are sometimes incompetent at PVP Something I already knew: most people who are really, really good at one of these tend to be at least competent at the other. SO essentially both PVE Heros and PVP heros are complaining about most people not being great at the game. Well, that is certainly news. I just want people to play even if they stink because selfishly I want the game to be around for a while. Also selfishly, I have had more 2 and 3 on 1 victories the past month than ever before. The fact remains it worked on Shadowlands for a decent while. There is a stable PVP community of above average skill, it is undeniable. There are far less trolls compared to other servers, as well. Shadowlands is the future...maaaaan.

Lots of people from PVP servers have recently transferred to Shadowlands. Shadowlands has many healthy PVP and PVE guilds. Overall I would call it a friendly server, but of course we do have a handful of toxic people in both communities. We have ranked daily during prime hours and people openly announce and invite for it.

This is a serious question, and I am not trying to troll you or set you up for some canned reply. I want to open a genuine dialogue here and maybe we can get somewhere between people who feel as you do and people you run with friends as frequently as possible. Why do you PVP and what makes it enjoyable for you?

99 percent of the toxic community on SL is in the same guild. They are just targets and comms to me. <3 Zuna

Why is that a big accusation when it happens daily on every game with pvp? To find the toxic people who most likely DO drive people away from PVP just look in the chat channels and see what guild they belong to. Almost 100 percent of the jerks on SL are in the same guild because they are the only ones who can stand each other.

I have been saying for years the best overall pvp players were on SL. Now the PVP servers accept that to find actual PVP this is where they should go. The trash talking is probably mostly the transfers in discovering how hopelessly outclassed they are against the natives. Personally I find it more satisfying to take out the trash talkers, so this entire transfer situation has been great fun for me. Don't let the trolling get to you, mark them early in the WZ and give them free trips to respawn.
