Well which spec to you prefer to play in warzones in general ( reg and ranked alike)? Do you still prefer the balance/madness. Also in the past expertise was not really something to put points in. Is there a reason why you now put 2 pts in expertise, instead of maybe the utility of reduced cd on force run and force shroud.

31 has never been mandatory .. KC/ Darkness builds of 23/1/17 and 27/1/13 builds have been viable and around for a while.

The Matrix Cube is a BIS item for the Sith Assassin, you will always have it equipped and one pvp relic while pvping.

Well not all Sins / Shadows running around as darkness/ KC is spec for 31 points in the Dark/KC tree so I wouldn't laugh at that Sin/Shadow so quickly using Thrash/Double Strike, because they could be hitting you for 1.5k plus each hit of it.

this is so wrong.. sins can be rooted by leaps, pushed by juggs, rooted by a creeping terror, and low slashed by deception sins, and there is one other skill that will cc a sin while force shroud is up.. Just cant think of the name..

Just the required valor rating to wear.. otherwise no difference..

Just to clarify .... Dots no longer interrupt node capturing only the original hit on target .. prevents node capturing in PVP.. So dotting people to prevent node captures is no longer a viable tactic in PVP.

I dont post that much, but I cant help but read the comment by the op and laugh. Lightning Charge Useless, Assassins underpowered .. Highly laughable. Deception Spec assassins when geared right have solid short burst dmg. from 2 VS/ RECK/Overcharge/ Shock/Discharge/ Assassinate if not ready which is rarely .. Low Slash Assassinate or Maul then Assassinate.. Equals usaually a dead victim in PVP, in PVE even less work. So there is your burst low survival Assassin Spec.. and still has 6 forms of CC Electrocute, Jolt (on 4sec CD), Low Slash, Spike out of Stealth, Mind Sap while in Stealth, and a 2 sec cast whirlwind. If you have trouble being detected in stealth there is this skill called blackout use it. There is also a slow in your toolbox.. You also have Force Shroud which resist all tech and force dmg, and deflection which does a solid job against all white dmg.. OH and guess what you can still taunt people and lower their dmg outpoint on your group members by 30% Then your lightning charge spec that goes with Madness .. A spec that can easily top warzones in overall dmg it has been done by many many times. Skills like Creeping Terror with an intant 2 sec root from 3o meters out,, Death Field with nice big AOE dmg plus a solid heal ... Yes I said HEAL on the backend for you. Dots from Lightning charge they can do upwards of 4k for its duration, INstant crushing darkness that does upwards of 3k dmg over duration. and other goodies like instant WW and shorter CD and guess what Heals.. for every dot tick that crits.. guess what you get a heal.. Yes a HEAL .. Let me repeat that a HEAL Then there is Darkness Spec.. Survival, HEALS, solid DPS, out of stealth Spike, plus longer duration on Force shroud ... At this point I m tired of typing and just cant believe someone believes the assassin is useless in PVP.. Madness and Deception Spec SIns may be a bit squishy but they are not underpowered at least not in pvp. And well Darkness people cry about that spec being OP. I think you really need to take the time to learn the mechanics of the class and how to use the nice sizable toolbox your given with a Assassin. And if you don't believe what I m saying just check out the many streams and you tube videos of Sin PVP, or hell my own streams and I m not even the best Sin out there.. and you will see we are far from being a crappy class as you explain it to be.

Farming people at their goalline just because you can and not attempting to score and finish the game is bush league and poor sportsmanship imo.

also in warzones if you scroll over your damage it tells you how much dps you did throughout the encounter at your bolstered 50 .. unless you are already 50.. So you get an idea of how your dps is compared to others in warzones as well. Frankly I had my reservations about the sin after the changes that came to it during beta when the 15m was taken away, and in deception tree the extra dps out of cloak was removed and other changes like spike moved and pull and all that.. But I m really enjoying the assassin, as we can be an absolutely headache in warzones, as we have lots of utility IMO. We do sound dmg specially after we get assassinate.. just so many ways you can play the sin and be effective. Sometimes though a class may not be right for you, and work well with the things you like to do.. But the class is definitely not gimped and on par with all the other classes in the game.
