I was in for just over 6 months and, yes, of course they fixed a ton of issues. From my perspective those issues were fixed as a matter of procedure and during the natural course of the development of the game and most certainly not because we "asked" them to fix them. Often major changes were not a result of what people were asking for but simply BW doing whatever BW wanted to do. Juggs and Guards are still waiting for the changes they've been asking for. Changes that were most definitely promised to them....what is it now, five months ago. They've been totally ignored for a very, very long time. It's very easy to have selective memory about what they did and did not do and what exactly prompted many changes.

Yeah, nearly 6 months waiting on that Jugg/Guard revamp that they promised was coming. Not surprisingly, they haven't said a word about it in a very long time. Of course, if this was a Smuggler issue, GZ would be all over it.

Yep...thoroughly ignored. While we tested their game, they tested how far they could ignore their customers. As you can see, they've learned to take ignoring to an art form.

Exactly, but that's a different problem altogether, not a solution to this issue. The hood is removed completely on Twi'leks, which looks ridiculous. What we're asking for here is the ability to have the hood either over our head, or laying on our back, but not disappear altogether. Some gear worn on Twi'leks do show a hood on the back, like the Temple Watchman's Vest from the comm vendor on Tython, so it's most certainly possible to implement a hood toggle while simultaneously fixing the Twi'lek-in-a-bathrobe look. Of course, as I've been saying all along, none of this would be the issue that it is if they simply re-introduced all of the gear that they removed (or better yet, commented one time...just...one...time....on any of these issues).

This is true of all classes...from a certain point of view. The JK is my favorite Republic story but I don't think it's nearly as engaging as the SW story. Plus, I actually think the voice actors for JK, both male and female, are terribly miscast. Athena Karkanis (female JC) should have been cast as the female JK, as her range and delivery of lines between dark/light dialog is very strong while Kari Wahlgren pretty much sounds the same no matter what the line is. Meanwhile, David Hayter bores me to tears in his role (I guess criticizing him is some sort of sacrilege or something, but whatever....he's far too generic in this role).

Juggs do, but Maras don't. Both however have their own unique lack-of-variation issues. Indeed, almost all classes in the game suffer greatly from very poor and limited variation. Play any class and sooner or later some gear-related issue will start nagging at you. At least Juggs and Maras begin to develop a more distinctive look, while both Guards and Sents look virtually identical and indistinguishable until towards end-game. The gear issues as they stand in the game now extend well beyond simply not having a hood toggle, which I am 100% in favor of. No, the greater issue remains a dramatic lack of variation allowing us to create a character that looks the way we want them to look, despite the fact that there is a ton of gear that does exist, highlighted in the above links in addition to gear seen and worn throughout beta, that BW has simply removed from the game. Perhaps 'Hue to Chest' will also bring the re-introduction of many of those gear pieces that already do exist. I believe simply re-introducing all those pieces that didn't have hoods to begin with will bring an acceptable middle-ground while they work on the hood-toggle. Meanwhile, BW won't say a word about this (and it's likely this thread will be moved to and buried within the Suggestion forum, just like the last).

When do you anticipate adding more gear variety? Specifically, for example, why are Maras essentially given skirts instead of pants as rewards and drops during leveling, when will Maras be given hooded gear, when will Knights be given non-hooded gear, why do Guards and Sents essentially wear exactly the same gear during their leveling process while Maras and Juggs have more distinctive styles to their respective AC, when will JCs be given the pants they were told to expect, etc? Please, I beg you with all my sincerity, answer this question!

You answered mostly questions that I feel have been answered to some degree already while still completely ignoring other questions that many, many customers continue to ask you. Some new stuff, but not enough. But...at least you said something to us. *sigh* That said, I'll be looking forward to the "Hue to Chest" feature. Or at least I would if there were any gear variety whatsoever that would make such a thing even worthwhile. (Gear variety being an issue you blatantly continue to ignore, btw).

I honestly didn't even read the OP. But I will always /sign anything that encourages the devs to *gasp* actually talk to us. Although I already know they won't say a word...

If you get off the General forum you'll find lots of quality topics about many issues, including appearance issues. 'Course don't expect to find a single comment from BW about any of it.

I don't understand why Zabraks are the only ones that get cornrows. Shouldn't all species have the ability to look trashy and ridiculous?
