  1. This is happening to me as well, I also got booted out of a Denova match after some really weird stuff happened.... as in I was able to heal someone from the other side of the map
  2. So what will be the policy for name collisions? Considering we're all going to be on a new server is it gonna be some mad rush to patch and login first? Or are you going to base it on character creation date, account creation date (my personal favourite ) or something else?
  3. Great, I'm off to bed Just be sure to keep things working tomorrow for me as I have a day off work
  4. To be honest as much as I'd like to see a goodwill gesture I'd rather some CC as I can choose what to get rather than just a random item that everyone will have. For now though I expect this is not at the top of your list of things to sort out!
  5. Honestly Keith, there's nothing wrong with just giving us everything that's finished now, then expanding later with the parts that still need some work.
  6. If you don't use it, remove your PTS files. Considering if you have it installed its as near as damn it like having the game installed twice. You can delete the bulk of it easy enough just go to your SWTOR directory, in the assets folder there's 91 files that start with the file names "SWTOR_test" they come to ~ 17.1Gb, just delete them. Job done.
  7. I agree that every other class appears OP when you compare them to a sorc/sage. Even with a mix of BM/WH gear I still get torn through pretty quickly.
  8. Well I ended my sub and intend on giving Bioware as many days as I have left to make PvP 'fun' I don't think 8 man queues and ranked war zones will be enough for me at any rate. Although as Daniel mentioned in an interview they weren't expecting such a large pvp community and have apparently shifted their focus onto that. We'll see. Considering, EA managed to make liars out of Bioware by publishing the subscription numbers when for weeks Bioware have been flat out denying that numbers are reducing. My faith and trust has been given a bit of a kicking
  9. Shadow is great fun, but the play style isn't all that similar to Sent in my view. Sage might be an idea, you'll get to do a bit of range dps and healing shout you choose to. Also you'll get to understand why people say sents are overpowered
  10. Nope, I've never been able to play MMO's for very long before I get bored, only this and Star Wars Galaxies has been able to keep me. The StarWars IP aside what would make me leave is: No meaningful rewards for open world PvP PvP TTK is far far far to short PvE content doesn't meet my expectations
  11. If these two minor points are the only actions you'll even consider looking at then you really aren't listening are you? You say that DPS and TTK are near enough on target but clearly the community isn't happy about that. Surely you should be making your targets based on the requests of the community as a whole, we want slower combat in PvP. Clearly, you don't. Thats fine, if the game is going to continue in this direction that many of us are unhappy about no doubt we can find another game to take up our time with. Thats not a threat but if I want super fast TTK times I'll go play an FPS, I want strategy and meaningful combat, currently I'm not getting this on a Sage. So with that in mind, maybe I should pickup a copy of WoW. It is after all the largest subscriber based MMO around, so I'm sure they're doing something right.
  12. Its nice to see you've responded to some of our feedback. Any response to the concerns relating to the outrageous reduction in Time to kill?
  13. Your wrong, my healing output has been reduced. Do you know how I figured that out? My heals give less HP, my PvP Healing boost has been drastically cut down even though my figure of expertise has risen by a large amount and finally, its taking longer to cast my only real worthwhile single target heal (which is getting interrupted much more frequently). These 3 points all result in a lower healing output. If you think other wise, then thats purely your opinion. The numbers speak for themselves. If people were taking far less damage I'd still be healing for less than I was prior to 1.2
  14. Thanks, I have to be honest I struggle to look after myself let alone anyone else now. On the whole playing my sage now makes me feel like burden to the rest of the group. I find myself thinking 'they'd be much better off with a Sent over me' So I gave up and spec'd dps, now again due to cast times Im not really getting much more damage across than I was before. Although it doesn't help the fact that I'm marked in most matches as I've already made a name for myself as a 'healer' pfft.
