  1. Credit distribution should be reconsidered and returned to pre 1.2 levels, as well. Give player multiple options to earn credits doing what we ENJOY: Not forcing us to perform regurgitated PVE content in order to fund our PVP. You're on the right track. Give us the ability to mirror our level 50s on test so that content can be thoroughly tested in the future.
  2. They handed out the free 30 days, and are now scrambling to damage control the PVP changes in 1.2 in an attempt to salvage the hemorrhaging subs due to said changes. The Dev team have 30 days to make right what is wrong. If they can deliver, I'm sure that will bring at least a few players back to the fold- myself included.
  3. Analysis = Subs cancelled. This should have been concluded on the PTS before it was pushed to live.
  4. This added with the player ratio disparity (8:4 and WZ doesn't end) is ridiculous.
  5. Any WZ that dipped below a 3:2 ratio cancelled if players didn't join (for me) pre 1.2.

  8. This is the new and improved PVP post 1.2. This patch was tested on the PTS, signed, sealed, and delivered! Amazing, isn't it?

  12. Hi PVE Dev, please back away from the keyboard and allow a PVP-Centric Dev interact with PVP players from this time on. First, BW should allow players to copy their level 50 characters to Test so that metrics can be 'tested' there. Second, the current reward system doesn't encourage team work and playing the WZ. Instead, players immediately ditch a losing team- even if the loss is perceived. Premades have an obvious advantage in this instance (and I support premades), but without the rated WZs, PUGs become farming fodder. Third, WZs remain active even with half a team (4:8 ratio). Have you ever played a WZ in these conditions? Let me tell you, it is a farm fest for the short team. Its ridiculous. Fourth, Gear disparity has never been higher. What happened to removing the gear treadmill encouraging skill to differentiate players rather than time invested? Fifth, why was DPS increased in WZs? I loved the idea of a Death Match style WZ, but not implemented like this. Any given WZ is like watching Keystone Kops running around, dying, dying dying. I unsubbed from SWTOR BECAUSE of the PVP changes that were pushed to live from PTS. I am not the only disgruntled customer that cancelled their paying account as a direct result of those PVP changes heaped upon us. Correct the above issues, and I may resub. Keep on your current path/mission and I won't grace BW with another dime for this game! /Signed, A Disgruntled Formerly Paying Customer
  13. Gentlemen, The answer is clear: The current dev team knows little about PVP and does not hold the activity with regard. I have since un-subbed. I gave 1.2 a try and I found it lacking. Were I playing this game exclusively for It's PVE content I would be rejoicing at this moment- there were many neat things introduced into this game via 1.2. Unfortunately, most of the PVP changes were terrible. The reward nerf for WZs. The ease to kill another player...The imbalanced start-up of a WZ. There are more issues, but the three above are game changing. The dev team actually changed something that I could easily spend 6 hours a day on (and I couldn't stop thinking about), into an ordeal that I have not since participated in. I un-subbed and unless these terrible changes are corrected, will allocate that monies to a different Company.

  16. Insulting fellow players doesn't invalidate the fact that Maras are overpowered as a result of 1.2.

  18. It was a terrible implementation thinly shrouded on the PTS as a way to, 'discourage AFKers'. George ZOELLER promised that the final metrics would be corrected before being pushed to the live servers- obvious lip service. The PVP in this game wasn't perfect, but it was fun. When you grouped with PUGs and lost, you were at least compensated for your personal performance. Unfortunately, the new changes promote quitting WZs if there is even the slightest chance of loss or imbalance- and rightfully so! I wouldn't prefer any player have to stick out 5, 10, 14 minutes in a losing match to earn 64 comms. Ridiculous. I cancelled my subscription and noted the reason as being the changes made to PVP in 1.2. As much as I love Star Wars and BioWare, I refuse to pay for this game in It's current state. No, I won't PVE in order to PVP. No, I don't want a gear treadmill. I want to fight even geared players and let skill determine a winner. No, I don't want to wait for rated Warzones- ***? As you said, OP- nice bait and switch. No, I don't want to play SWTOR CoD: There has to be a median for healers. Somewhere between what they were able to do, and where they are now. The list could go on, and trust me- it did when I submitted my reasons for cancelling. Who knows, perhaps they will make enough changes to convince me to resub? Doubtful.

  20. So, true. Apparently players were enjoying PVP too much prior to 1.2, and adjustments were necessary in order to 'redirect' customer attention elsewhere... As in a game that caters to customers that enjoy PVP such as EVE Online or GW2.
