  1. The small group I often PvP with has been leveling Republic characters. We have been group queuing (three players, but often four in the 10-49 bracket) and have experienced repeated issues with the queue system working past 10:45pm cst. Last night was the 4th or 5th time we've experienced these problems. Last night we had played about five or six matches before the clock rolled around to 10:45pm cst. We finished our last match and requeued as a group. Prior to our last attempt we waited, on average, no longer than three to five minutes for a new match to pop. However, after 10:45pm cst we waited approximately 15 minutes before giving up. We have waited longer in the past and have also tried disbanding the group, changing the group from four to three, and even two players. Solo queuing at the same time has yielded mixed success, but we would like to continue group queuing. This has occurred the last two nights, but has also occurred in the past, specifically last week on Thursday and Friday as well. We find it hard to believe that everyone simply logs off, or stops group queuing at 11:00, but we were curious to find out if anyone else had experienced any similar issues.
  2. I am not attempting to prove anything. I simply thought, one day, that I should track the end match statistics. I do the same type of tracking for a number of different items. You can interpret the results how you see fit, all I'm doing is tracking the data. I have similar results on my Juggernaut, which is currently level 35. The win ratios are nearly identical. Again, not attempting to prove anything. In previous posts individuals have expressed interest in seeing the information. I'm simply providing it.
  3. I've posted a few other times, but here is an update for my Jedi Shadow. The server is The Shadowlands. The following overview includes 293 total matches. 64 as solo queue and 229 as group queue. The Group Queue composition was, approximately 80% of the time simply myself and one other player. In short, solo win ratio was 79.69% and group win ratio was 87.77%. http://i45.tinypic.com/au70g4.png http://i50.tinypic.com/jf7vhu.png I did level this one a little, as well as pvp so the total number of matches would be higher if not for those additives.
  4. I have tracked 276 matches on my republic shadow and have an overall win ratio of 85.51%. 77.97% as solo queue (59 matches) and 87.56% as group (read: queue w/ one other player) for 217 matches On my imperial juggernaut, with a total of 160 matches, I have an overall win ratio of 73.13%. 72.41% as solo queue (116 matches) and 75.00% as group (read: queue w/one other player) for 44 matches. I don't think it's as imbalanced as you may believe it is.
  5. I have a spreadsheet with 276 matches on a single character from level 10 - 48. The game distribution I have experienced is as follows: lvl 48 infiltration shadow Alderan - 70 - 25% Hypergate - 48 -17% Novare - 62 - 22% The Pit - 47 - 17% Void Star - 49 - 18% Solo queue win / loss = 46/13 = 77.97% Group (80% of the time (173 matches) group was two people only) win / loss = 190 / 27 = 87.56% Tinypic won't load the spam verification thing at work, otherwise I'd upload a capture of the spreadsheet.
  6. I can't post screenshots of my data right now, but I started tracking my Warzone progress on a couple of lowbie toons and have 235 matches in my sample. I have a level 32 Juggernaut (136 matches) and a level 27 Shadow (99 matches). The win/loss information for each is as follows: Juggernaut (Win / Loss) - Total: 97 / 39 - 71.32% - Solo Queue: 70 / 31 - 69.31% - Group Queue: 27 / 8 - 77.14% Shadow (Win / Loss) - Total: 78 / 21 - 78.79% - Solo Queue: 25 / 10 - 71.43% - Group Queue: 53 / 11 - 82.81% My aggregate Win / Loss is 74.47%. All that being said, I understand there is a difference between lowbie and level 50 pvp and I haven't bothered tracking any of my 50 PvP because I want to use the same characters which I use for tracking at the moment. Thus, interpret as you see fit, but it's more about how you contribute to your team's overall performance than the faction balance, at least in my opinion.
  7. I track all of the stats at the end of my WZs; I've had one shut out, out of 16 matches. The score was 604 - 0. When I play on the Republic side, on my level 22 Shadow, the cumulative score of those 16 matches has been 9508 - 8182, with my team outscoring the enemy team by a total of 1362 in those 16 matches, so not much. The W/L for my pub character is 69% whereas the W/L for my Imp character (31 Jugg) is 86%.
  8. Updated Statistics; see original post and information below. UPDATE: For those who have expressed interest I have some updated statistics. I decided to play a Shadow as it was one of the few advanced classes I had yet to play. I now have 125 matches with my Juggernaut, which is now level 31 and 68 matches with my Shadow, which is level 22. I do have a low level Assassin I may use to get some class mirror statistics, but we'll see. Anyways, I have grouped a lot more on the Republic side, as one of my friends has also been leveling on the Republic side, but the vast majority of the "Group" queue games are simply myself and one other person, at least with regards to the matches on the Republic Side. Interpret as you see fit. Warzone match statistics - http://i46.tinypic.com/16ih0tz.jpg Character role/advanced class statistics - http://i48.tinypic.com/2v7we8g.jpg - Obviously the "402" kills under the "best" section for the shadow, and at the top under "all", is a mistake (it's 41), it has been corrected in the data, but I'm not going to re-post a new link. My bad!
  9. I'll try the faction balance idea, I like it. shall I try to mirror or another class? (Decided to try the assassin / shadow, as that's one of the few classes I have yet to play). Maybe just on the other faction to see what happens. Oh, and with regards to the keybinding, I have them set up, but I use my Naga for nearly everything except for 1-4 and Alt + 1-4. As I add in WZ's, every 50 or so, I'll post updates for those with interest.
  10. Decided to keep track of the statistics presented at the end of each Warzone; just the high level information, not the detailed information such as highest hit, dps, etc... I will also note there appears to be a disparity in the way the WZ calculates medals, kills, and MVP votes and the information that is displayed on the PvP heads up when you queue up. This could be data entry, but I've adjusted it several times and it always off, either + / -. I am only leveling via PvP and class missions, so the majority, to this point, is PvP matches. http://i47.tinypic.com/2s7gnxc.png UPDATE: For those who have expressed interest I have some updated statistics. 11. Hey, thats pretty lame! Thanks.
  12. This is the first instance I've seen of this happening. To my knowledge, which may be lacking, there is no XP awarded during a PvP match which would subsequently eliminate the possibility that the player leveled during the match. Moreover, I encountered this person nearly immediately after the match started. I was unable to inspect the player, but they were running around with approximately 17k HP. Anyone have any thoughts? I've submitted a ticket and took multiple screenshots which I will post if necessary.
  13. I have a Modified DTB-27 Bolt Pistol on my Imp character and was looking for a second. The original one I got was a class quest drop from Blizz. I would love to get a 2nd blaster that has the same model and is moddable, is anyone aware of another model on the imperial side by chance? Thanks!
  14. I as well will assume that this is PvP oriented, but will include PvE as well. As for PvP: Rarely, anymore, do I hit for over 5k. I would say that the average critical hit is between 4300-4800. I wear almost full WH with only a few modifications to the gear. I will hit for 5k on occasion, but if I ran 5 matches a day it may only occur once or twice. As for PvE: I consistently hit general raid trash mobs as well as bosses themselves for well over 5k damage. I would wager that the majority of my critical hits, in PvE, land anywhere between 5400-6000; when not considering other armor debuffs, adrenals, or other non external buffs. My PT is geared in, more or less, full black hole with an emphasis on aim and power. I run approximately 2100 aim without a stim and approximately 1000 power without under the same operating conditions. I'm not looking at the character sheet and I stopped bothering to updated MrRobot because it was becoming a pain, but the only part of my build that I believe could benefit from some tweaks is my crit %; it's a little under where it should be. I strongly consider the campaign gear to be trash, aside from a few pieces, mainly the armor itself and I utilize a rakata shell for the additional 8% damage to railshot. Due to the higher base damage, I believe the 8% damage buff is better than the % critical. I'm sure someone could post an ideally optimized build, but I believe that the grind required to achieve something along those lines has a DR curve as well, and my interest in grabbing an extra percentage point or two is minimal at this point; especially considering the current and upcoming raids that we encounter on a week to week basis.
  15. Ran ~750k total on the EC HM Kephess fight on Tuesday. I don't have further info since I'm at work, but I topped the chart for our group (x2 merc, x1 sniper, x1 pt) - barely beating out the sniper. Next time I need to use the parser breakdown like several of you have linked. I just need to remember to do so .
  16. The lack of direct, clear and concise, communication from the developers to the community is significant. Without some form of communication that is actually worthwhile (more often than not the Q&A's, if they actually exist anymore, and Community Roundups posts are junk) the population will suffer.
  17. Thanks. I definitely don't have the all the same stats and gear as a few of the previous posters, but I'm getting there and honestly, I am more interested in game specific scenarios of PT DPS than that of the training dummy where the situation is optimized - as well as the rotation. However, I am currently, in the majority of encounters, pulling dps numbers above that of other members in our raid; sometimes 100k+. Of course the sniper is usually closer to my numbers than any of our other raiders.
  18. As opposed to the parser, does anyone have any real world numbers? Maybe for EC HM, bosses only I can use as a comparison.
  19. I was on Darth Bandon, we had enough people to raid on a fairly consistent basis. Someone mentioned rerolling on The Fatman, and after some initial hesitation most of our people moved. Our group still has people playing D3 constantly (I played through once, meh...), but more often than not we're in vent, chatting and pvp'ing with a core group of people. BTW, last night (5/24) our group of 3 or 4 queued for some wz's and never waited more than 3-5 minutes per queue for a good 8-9 matches. I think I looked at the fleet # once or twice (150+) but spent most of the evening on Balmora where there were 45+ people on. If pvp is your thing, suck it up, reroll on a populated server, don't wait around for the mergers; plus 75% of the time 1-49 is more fun anyways. Unless there's an option to move both my characters from different servers to the same one, be it The Fatman or not, I highly doubt I will bother with the transfers. I'm happy on The Fatman, at least up through level 37; presumably things will need to change after 50, raiding, etc... Keep up the good work on the server pop. estimates. Estimation on this scale is difficult, specially with the vague assumptions you have to make based on the data supplied.

    PVP on Fatman Server

./cry queue up with someone and not solo, change how you approach the problem; dont run to mommy and daddy to fix it for you. they won't give you a buff and/or nerf the opponents b/c you lost xx matches in a row; you're not always playing with the same team against the same opponents - among several other reasons. i queue with, most of the time, one or, at most, two other people; we'll easily win 3/5 or 4/5 on a good night. even solo my win ratio is well above 50% regardless of which faction i'm playing that evening.
  21. I agree with the poster who mentioned that the replacement skill have some lightsaber component to it. I don't even keep the melee attacks on my bar, the lightsabers, as they are now for sorcerers are simply to pad your stats. i used unity a few times, but never had much difficulty soloing content.
  22. 1.2 madness w/ creeping terror does wonders. they cant do much if they cant touch you.
  23. ...we have some observations that were undoubtedly made on the PTS, but we neglected them prior to pushing the patch to the live servers. As it turns out our live servers seem far better suited for real time testing, sorry for the trouble... ./sarcasm In other news. thanks for listening to the community.
  24. I think the spread should be closer to 100/60; if you get your 8 medals - losing. Right now the big problem is time invested vs. reward, especially for those who lose more often than not. Its all a good discussion, but balance is a fine line and this thread has 70+ pages, someone is reading it... (I hope.)
  25. Yea, b/c huttball wasn't mostly a group up and "freight train it" to victory anyways. Nourve Coast is a significant improvement in my opinion.
