    Or if you are an Empire character, consider levelling a republic character until you get the republic ship. Then, you can check the republic GTN for Imperial only recipies and sell them to yourself on the neutral GTN on Nar Shadda. I have gotten about half of my synth recipies for my Inquisitor via my trooper alt on the same server. /sneaky

    This is why no one plays Republic. Anyone can be sith and dress/look like the good guys! But with lightning! And blackjack! And Ladies! In fact, forget the lightning. And the blackjack.

    It will help the Valor-farming, but I think the point of kill swapping is to get the daily/weekly ilum quest done which shouldn't be effected. Ilum is too big a zone to have fun world-pvp. I only go there if I want to get the quest done, and then I leave.

    Thank you. My thoughts exactly. I real issue I see in WZs are the pug vs premade nonsense. Until Bioware comments on how to improve matchmaking in PvP, Tank/Healing combos >> ALL. If the OP is having trouble killing Sorcerers as they used for example, than use your own tanks to Taunt the Sorcerer reducing the Sorcerers' damage as well.

    I liked the animation from pre-patch 1.1.2 just fine. Now my whole bar lights up blue and it makes it harder to see the abilities on my bar so I know which one I want to use next.

    Actually, this is what some gamers want. When a game is too easy, the desire to play it dies.

    I would love to be able to get masks like this in different colours. This shows that interesting items are in the game, they just need to be accessible to players. On topic, I have never seen a mask like that in game.

    There is a great thread about stats/theorycraft over at sithwarrior forums. I believe the soft cap on alacrity and crit is 30% (Meaning added from gear) On top of that, you can have talents and buffs which can raise your crits over 30%.

    Well said, Obelisk. I am more interested in investing in a single tree to reflect a strength in a particular playstyle. (i.e. single target, burst, or AoE specialities) If a hybrid spec offers more damage output than any one tree, then I would say the deeper talents in the dps trees are effectively useless and need to be improved/balanced.

    Ive been collecting custom patterns for synthweaving for a while and i think those three slots are the only ones that have been implemented: head, chest, and legs.

    Because there will never be any changes or expansions or anything... I don't know why anyone would level a skill to 400 and then drop it. If you want another skill, why dont you level an alt with different crew skills?

    Maybe the strength of the Lightning build is in how much Alacrity a person has. A 1.5 second TB seems more powerful than a 2 second TB. Of course, the arguement could be made that the Alacrity would also increase the overall damage of Force Lightning, but I am interested to see some hard numbers for myself.

    I'm interested in learning more about the accuracy stat for Sorcerers. I'm confused as to the uselessness of accuracy in PvE (admittedly, I have never seen an ability miss). Although, the stats on the Rekata and Columi gear make more sense (having no accuracy whatsoever!)

    I chose Synth as my crafting skill, but I have more of a Op bias. I would like the best looking gear to come out of Ops. It seems like there are 3-4 sets of light synthweaving armor. All other pieces are variations in color. I was unimpressed by the look of these pieces, but at the end of the day, I will wear whatever gives me the best stats for my toon.

    I'm a 400 synth and I am refusing to pursue blue/purple patterns via RE unless I want to get the mats back from a crafted item. So far, I'm not sure there is a benefit to having more powerful versions of crafted items when I can get gear from Daily quests and Flashpoints/Ops.
