  1. I always ask if people have done the flashpoint before... If everyone in the group has done it before then I ask them to skip the scenes, if not I don't mind. I'd rather, though, it goes a bit faster, when I have seen those scenes about 20 times before, than have to watch them again, but if people are new to it thats fine too.
  2. Had a tank join that couldn't grasp the concept that, even though we weren't 50 and he was, we actually knew how to play the game. He would tell the healer to heal him (ofcourse master of the obvious) before he charged away. He would only focus on one mob, allowing every other mob to join the gangrape on said healer and the dps (tried to get them off the healer, but being squishy...). Anyway, in the end I checked his gear and, what do ya know, full pvp gear and no fricking shield either. Direct Vote-Kick for me there. In general: If you sign for a role in a group finder, then have the *********** gear and specc to fulfill that role. I can take people not knowing tactics, I can take people not being the best, I can also take people not having perfect speccs (however if you sign as a tank you should be focused on the tanking specc in your AC trees), all these can be amended or worked around. But if your a moron and aren't even using items in some slots then its byebye, get gear, get the correct gear, get it in all the slots you can fill.
  3. The Chiss looks alright, but nothing spectacular, and yes a bald human is probably the best option for dark side.
  4. I went back to WoW for a while... Now I am back to SWTOR, think that says it all.
  5. When I pop my Dodge I always go "WAHAAAARH you cant touch this!" then I die...
  6. I eat them on my Shadow, at least pre 50... =) Dunno if they are skilled or not though, they only seem "survivable" when they have their 99% reduction up, but they die soon after that. Usually just taunt them when they pop it, means they won't really kill anyone during that cd, and they die when its done.
  7. With recruit gear and 2000 warzone points (you can have that saved up at 50), you can have roughly 900 expertise or so, which is 2-300 less than everyone else, ie. not that big of a difference. L2getpropergear.
  8. Sch, he didn't learn about defensive cd's yet.
  9. You are saying that SWTOR is "communist" by boosting people to roughly the same level, pre 50. You say that in WoW it was an equal playing feel at 60 (which it definitely wasn't), which in actual terms is the same thing. You then complain about being dead in 2 seconds, but apparently everyone has the same stats? I am confused, what are you complaining about? L2use defensive CD's, specc tank if you want to survive several dps'ers, ask for Guard, or ask for heals or shields or taunts... Get expertise.
  10. Your a squishy marauder, if you want to live through focus fire you roll a tank. Don't expect to live through 8 player's damage with a single healer on you. On the note with CC I can agree, to an extent. IMO it could be cut down a bit. At least add roots to CC immunity.
  11. Anything else, and we would not see any content patches the next 10 years, I mean if every programmer was working on bug fixing, they wouldn't get anywhere. Thats how it is for ALL MMO's, not just TOR. You could state that they should have a larger bug fixing team, and that might be right, but then other stuff would take longer to develop aswell, or we would have to pay more/month. I fully expect them to have as much manpower on it as possible.
  12. I will be playing D3, and most likely be on SWTOR pause meanwhile I play that, although not sure yet. Mostly due to time problems, once I feel tired of D3 or need a break I will get back into SWTOR.
  13. The game cost the same as any other game, YOU decided to buy the extra stuff that came with the CE, doesn't change the game's actual price. Even if there are bugs in endgame raiding (which I haven't done, so I don't know) I have a hard time finding any game breaking bugs during leveling. Only things is sound bugging out and some small graphical issues, petty problems to say the least. The major problem this game has is the MMO community. They were screaming "its done, release it" and then when they release it, "its not done, you should have waited another year". Sorry but I don't think that is in any way shape or form viable, economically. Yes this game has to earn the company money, or they won't be able to keep it running, fact. Imo the game balance is fine, a little bit of fine tuning and it will be very good, I don't expect perfect, neither should you, because it won't happen. Anyway I will check the GW2 and TSW forums, 1 month after those have been release there will most likely be a whining thread or a thousand similar to this one. Have fun jumping boat and never being satisfied because of impatience.
