  1. i hate to break it to u homie, but this is a u internet problem and not a bw game problem. now i’m not defending bioware btw, they do need to fix their **** game. i’m just calling u dumb. also, there’s a gsf forum. idk how it’s hard to see that.
  2. using the word "always" there is poor choice of words. a "brain dead zerger" who runs to mid in a hypergate and gets 1 kill will have contributed more than the obj nerd who spam clicks the pylon for the entire game and can't manage to cap it. also, just don't die. literally not even hard in this game, ttk is ridiculously long.

  6. I haven't yet been able to zero down exactly what triggers this however it is very annoying, especially when getting gear from legacy bank/getting gear drops from content. Simply logging out and logging back into the toon does not appear to fix the problem, it is typically randomly fixed for no apparent reason and with no apparent trigger.
  7. Homie, I do not know how you were playing sniper in 6.0. But if you struggled to pump damage on sniper, you were doing something wrong.
  8. People always act like you don't need people to do damage to win the game. When you really do. In my experience in regs, half the people screaming in ops chat that no one is playing the objective is a stealth class doing 800 dps and trying to spam plant a door/spam cap a node. Anti-damage-farmers seem to forget that you actually need to kill the enemy to plant a door in voidstar, or clear the enemy out to cap mid in civil war/yavin ruins. People also seem to forget that having damage farmers running around in a hypergate match killing the entire enemy team basically gives you a free win due to the sheer amount of points your team get's granted. People who complain about damage farmers always act like it's not easier to win when you get them on your team. Fighting with any good damage farming premade on your team is a practically a free win in several cases. The other team is simply locked down to the point that they cannot do anything.
  9. So your strategy to make the game better. Is to simply swap the rewards so that regs are now insanely broken for tech frag/wz commendation farm. That's not even logical in the slightest. While I do agree that gsf rewards are quite a bit more juicy than regs rewards, simply flipping the rewards from the weeklies is not the right solution at all. All BioWare needs to do is make both weeklies grant the same amount of tech fragments/wz commendations. And make both weeklies count 1 point for a loss and 2 points for a win. Setting it up that way would provide no incentive for someone to q one gamemode over the other, and would free up people to play what they want to play. Oh and also, you act like it doens't make it easy for people to q for a regs match, and then afk in a corner. It's arguably even easier to afk in regs than it is in gsf, because of the lack of a "not contributing" icon.

  11. Lovely how the thread calling out the 2 well known account buyers was deleted. Yet the bought accounts are not banned.... I kinda wonder how BioWare expects people to take them seriously, when they excessively moderate the forums. But not the actual game. It seems like they have a whole room of qualified people staring at the forums 24/7 watching for violations. But all they have for the actual game is the same dude who's been answering the same phone for the past 10 years and clearly doesn't even give a ****.
  12. Yes, but again, biggest complaint rn is predation. Yes, the damage is a big problem, and while that nerf will certainly help balance pve that does very little for pvp. Pvp is not a parse off unless you are in regs. Nerfing fury crits is cool and all, but fury will still have an abundance of roots and slows with raid wide root and slow immunity and 70% speed boost on a 30 second cd. Like cool, fury might no longer be the highest parsing class in the game. But they'll still have super pred every 30 seconds, with camo every 45 seconds + defel, vs classes with literally 0 mobility except sniper. And in case you haven't noticed, snipers are too busy running marathons to chase a mara.
  13. The problem with this q is that it would be even more unbalanced than 8v8 obj games are vs premades. The only way Bioware could ever implement this is if they made another q for group unranked arenas. Otherwise, people like me would just get together a 1 tank 1 healer 2 dps team of all experienced pvpers, and stomp on randoms all day. Which would be even dumber than having 4v4 arenas in the 8v8 q. Also I don't get what's wrong with 4v4s in the regs q anyway. Players are always complaining but I don't get it. Is it really too hard to kill a bunch of scrubs who either pop every dcd at once or just don't pop a dcd.
  14. I completely agree with what Prum and Caecus are saying. Both of them probably know more about pvp than half of you and both of them have very valid points. And if you all still think that mara is not busted, that's just not true. You know a class is busted, when there are 7 people qing solo ranked on the same class. Yes. Last night on Satele Shan there were 7 maras qing solos, in 1 game I was the only person who was not a mara. And it's cancer, to try and play against. First off it's a root fest, of obliterate/leap root. I literally couldn't even rocket out because of the amount of time I spent rooted, and I can't do anything about that because I don't have hydros anymore and if I cleanse a root, I just get rerooted. Second off, I literally cannot get away because of pred, their entire team was practically on perma predation. 75% speed boost the whole game and sometimes 150%+. On top of that, this is the same class that is currently the highest parsing dps class in the game. You all are comparing mara to 6.0 operative, but I don't even think 6.0 operative was as bad as 7.0 mara is. In fact, I don't even think it's a comparison. We are talking about a class that can pull top dps, can stealth out and regen with ease (because there is literally not a single class in the game that can chase them except for other maras,) and also can offer the best form of peel/offensive utility in the game currently. Oh and by the way, it is not "easy to kill a marauder." Anyone who is saying that **** has clearly never had to chase Ezmode, Marcus, or Kimy, and instead was stuck chasing Moophy. It was not even easy to kill a skilled mara in 6.0, and that was when I had hydraulic overrides on my merc, and 6 second roll + countermeasures speed boost on my oper.

  16. Actually I played 7 matches on my sniper. 3 of them were healer games, 4 of them were all dps games. In the healer games you can get stuff done. Sniper dcds are still very good in healer games and I expect them to be very good in tank/heal games as well. You can still use stlinger shield and div to peel for your team quite a bit and that's going to be where sniper shines in 7.0. The problem though is all dps games. With the lack of any self heals playstyle is either going to be run in circles constantly for the game. And try your best to juke them while putting 1-2 roll ambushes out Or just die. Also sniper positioning and outmanuvering was very key in 6.0. It was what set good snipers apart from bad snipers. That and knowing when to prepop dcds to mitigate burst.
  17. A few nights ago I qued sniper into a Satele Shan solo ranked q and was very disappointed with the current condition of the class. Now please note that I am by no means a particularly talented sniper so please take everything I say with a grain of salt. Last expansion snipers were known for being the class with the highest skill cap in solo ranked. If you were exceptionally bad at sniper, you were practically dead in the first 10 seconds taking your healthbar. However if you were exceptionally good at sniper you could easily take 600-700k+, and, even though I misplayed a lot, sniper was still one of my favorite classes, and arguably the most fun class I played in season 14. Point is, you could make it work. And when you made it work, you felt like a *********** god. Fast foward to 7.0 and it's now dead. Sniper has lost 10% heal when you activate your roll, as well as the option to spec into the passive 2% healing every 3 seconds. Essentially removing all self heals available to a sniper. This simply doesn't work in solo ranked. Every other class has the option to either heal themselves or stealth out and regen out of combat. And even then, Jedi Shadows/Sith Assassins, Operatives/Scoundrels, and Annihilation Marauders have self heals and can stealth out to regen! So why does sniper not have anything. And yes, I know, you do still have your passive heal when you activate Ballistic Shield, but for an ability with a 3 minute long cooldown, this heal adds up to essentially nothing. Now granted I was qing sniper into, arguably, a very bad q to be playing sniper in. There was a lot of Marauders and 2 Powertechs. However that doesn't much matter. Every Marauder qing that night was very bad at chasing and I could have easily outkited and lived them if it was 6.0. But it's not possible to do in 7.0. Even if you get away from them, then what? Sit behind a tree and pray that you get out of combat? In 6.0 we could heal for 30% in 3 gcds. and 2% every 3 seconds. Let's do some math real quick. Average health in 6.0 was around 270k if I'm rembering correctly. 2% of 270k gives us 5,400. Let's say you lived for a minute and a half. Assuming you were in cover for that entire minute and a half you would have healed for 162,000 health! Now granted you wouldn't have been in cover for that full minute and a half but I'm sure you could see my point. Pair that with 3 rolls and you get a total of 243,000 health. Nearly a full extra healthbar! And now we can heal for 0% no matter how long we live. Am I the only one seeing a problem with this? This is turning into a rant. Essentially my point is that sniper needs work in order to make it competitive again. I'm not asking for a lot, but at the bare minimum add back in passive 2% heal every 3 seconds. To be honest, it's beyond me why that was not incorporated into crouch. A lot of other basic passives were integrated into other classes abilities, I do not quite understand why that one wasn't. But that has to happen before sniper becomes competitive again in solo ranked pvp. At the minimum add back 2% heal every 3 seconds while crouched. At the maximum, add back 2% heal + 10% heal every time you activate roll.
  18. Evasion is actually still there. They just merged Evasion into Countermeasures. Technically they merged Evasion Countermeasures and the Repositioning set bonus all into 1 tree option
  19. @BioWare Can we please get 1 straight response from you. You have given us contradicting information for the past few months that has implied that we will be getting our season 14 rewards when the season ended and also implied that we would be getting them when season 15 started. So can you please just give us a straight response. It is not hard to do, you just have to tell us, when we are getting our ranked pvp season 14 token grants, titles, flags, and flairs. Thank You

  22. This is so accurate. I started qing earlier this season and was the worst operative you will ever see and even now sometimes play like a monkey. But I improved and I attribute that improvement to not being offended at people who flamed me and not just ignoring everyone who flamed me. The people who flame are typically better than you and can help you improve. I got flamed, and afterwards asked them what I did wrong, and the more I asked the more I learned.
