  1. Some people prefer a more engaging rotation to pressing 12345 over and over again /shrug And calling it a nerf when you can hardly see a difference in its single target dmg and aoe is actually better now is kind of dramatic
  2. Overall pretty lackluster changes... AP buffs are nice but there still wont be able to compete with Pyro in pve, and I dont see the necessity of basically giving PT diversion. Meanwhile Pyro isnt getting touched at all, while it has been overperforming for ages now. The change to the random charge implant seems very inconvenient for IO as it will be quite a hassle not to loose too many stacks of supercharge. Arsenal buffs are needed but that one change barely will do anything. Havent done the math but it could very well be a dps nerf Getting (at least a part) of the heals back on Sniper is very nice, tho it seems weird that it is the heal in cover and not the heal on roll as the latter would be much more beneficial for the needed survivability in pvp. At the same time Sniper really doesnt neeed additional survivability in pve, which is what the cover heal will primarily give. The targeted Ambush mod change really doesnt do anything - again very lackluster treatment of a class that desperatly needs a damage buff. Same goes for the new corroive refound - theres simply no reason to pick it over the critical grenade mod. The Medicine change is very nice for pvp. Though I really dont get the reason for nerfing the lethality aoe tactical in that way when ctp remains untouched. Deception buff is good, but again wont really affect things. Same with the nerf to Hatred execute. Reducing Madness lifesteal is very welcome, as is the lower chance for death brand to reapply. What would be even nicer is if you could fix it so it doesnt reapply after death. Lightning buffs are good but might not be enough to bring them on par with the other good ranged specs. The Anni change seems to be a nice qol change, however it is very confusing to me that it doesnt get nerfed in any way as it is clearly too strong in pve. The changes seem to be very mediocre overall, not buffing classes (enough) that really need it, not nerfing classes that are overperforming - namely Pyro and Anni - and instead a lot of pointless renaming.

  5. PVE - wipe. respawn. timer expires. swap characters. do the whole raid again from the start.
  6. In real life the professional teams of grown men have their own leagues to play teams on their skill level tho.
  7. Those few minutes can decide whether you get your timer or not. Those few minutes can easily decide whether you kill the boss or not - and in that way screw potential cheevos like survivings.

  9. Ionic Discharge is the only thing that keeps Engi from being a F tier class, go ahead and nerf it if you want but then give back at the least the selfheals pls ty

  11. He is good regardless of him beating up worse players or not. Also that's actually happening, we had one of the best players in the world at our local christmas tournament 3 years ago and he obviously stomped the competition. The thing is he wasn't playing to prove his skill, it was just for fun. Same goes for (most) ranked players in regs - its just for fun. Noone of them needs of tries to prove themselves by beating up weaker players.
  12. If you have the world chess champion play for fun in a local tournament he would still be a very good player even if he only stomps much weaker opponents, I dont really understand your analogy? Its kinda hard to not beat up casuals if the only pvp mode you can play is a casual one. They (former rated players) dont need a group to beat a casual player, they can do that just fine on their own. I know the concept is hard to grasp for you but some people actually have friends that they like to play with, so they group up.
  13. Its not their fault that they're better than casuals, you want to forbid people to queue because they're better than others? Actually there have been a lot of people migrating to different games like NW, WoW, etc. recently but ok Kind of true since we had like 8 months of preseason but a lot of people were waiting/hoping for season 15. Might be hard to believe for you but there were actually quite a few people playing ranked during actual season and I know a lot of people who were preparing and learning this past preseason for their first actual season.
