  1. I was saying they should make Followthrough a Kinetic Ability. Followthrough on MM is White Dmg and doesn't benefit from armor break(Sunder) unless it's specified that it does like Carnage with Ferocity when using Gore, Ravage, and Massacre.
  2. They could add a Republic Infantryman and a Imperial Royal Guard. Would be interesting to see Teras Kasi abilities and other unique Infantryman abilities. Trooper is technically a Infantry Grunt but the class is more Special Forces than a actual Infantryman. I also think they should give players some Force Powers that NPCs use. Such as Raptus's Powers, Tyran's Infernos, or Calaphayus's Force Shields that could be used by Sin Tanks for support. Stuff like this would be cool features.
  3. Vengeance has higher burst than Pyro and it's sustained dmg as well. Leth is a sustained dps spec and does more burst and arguably better cleave than Pyro can do still. They should just bring back pre nerf immolate crit chance. If i remember correctly, that's what they nerfed on it and the spec suffers because of it.
  4. I was giving an example of what to pair immolate with if they changed it to energy or kinetic dmg. Also, Pyro is at its weakest in a long time, it peaked in 6.0 with Firefall plop. The only things Pyro has going for it over AP is Kolto DR and CC Immunity in terms of utility. Pyro is by no means garbage atm, but it lacks any serious pressure besides just number fluffing with Scorch and the odd 55k Searing Wave every two decades.
  5. The only spec that needs a buff on sniper is MM. All they need to do is make Agitating Energies apart of the spec and possibly make Followthrough a Kinetic Ability so something on the spec benefits from armor break other than Ambush. They could also make the 20% crit dmg inc on Snipe a spec passive to increase overall dps. The only real way to do numbers on MM is to take the 20% crit dmg inc and spam suppressive fire when people stack. Not exactly a fulfilling way to play Sniper.
  6. AP PT doesn't need a buff in the burst department, it already has the best burst in the game. The Issue is sustaining AP's dmg in pve. They could revert the bleed dmg nerf and bring it back up to 10%. They could also tack on bleed dmg buff to Energized Vambrace(like it was in 6.0) and give it the 100% dmg buff to bleed when at 4 stacks of Energy Lode while keeping the Mag Blast dmg inc by 20%.
  7. Pyro's burst is incredibly mediocre for a dot spec, the only thing Pyro has going for it in pvp and pve is the extra dot for railshot, flaming fist aoe, and that's pretty much it( For dps). Even Leth has superior burst to Pyro atm after the Viral Elements nerf. Imo they can prob fix it by making Immolate a Energy damage ability and add armor break to the spec. The other option is take the Mando Warhead 7% elemental/internal buff and add it to Scorch. That way the spec isn't too overpowered in both respective game modes. Pyro's dmg in pvp mostly comes from tab targeting Scorches anyways.
  8. Sniper is the counter to melee since you have many ways of preventing them from touching you while you do dmg to them. The Counter to sniper would be AP PT because of the burst and hydros. In a true comp setting with AP/Engi and the enemy team has AP/Engi as well, you want the PT to sit on the sniper to prevent the engineering sniper from globaling people with the Ionic Discharge swaps. Another way to counter snipers would be Madness imo. Sniper doesn't have an answer to dots other than Shield Probe or if your Virulence and have dot dr. Pretty much beating good snipers is a war of attrition unless you have a AP PT that's intelligent.
  9. Yep but a lot of these people on the forums and in game don't have a clue how half of their abilities work, let alone the different damage types. Mostly from what i noticed is they refuse to learn and just queue for the xp or because the Seasons has a pvp reward.
  10. Another good one would be if you're not healing the team as a healer then you should be given a afk timer or a non participation timer. So let's say a certain threshold of 10k hps. If 10k hps is not being done over let's say 20 seconds, a AFK timer will present itself until you reach that timer. I've seen many healers not participate and just sit afk at the node while their team gets rekt. 10k hps is super easy to obtain as a healer single target and especially cleave. If it's a new player trying to heal and gets kicked for not doing 10k hps then that person needs to learn how to heal. It's pretty simple. Broadsword should grow some balls and tell people that. This is just my opinion and speaking from experience.
  11. I got all of my ranked rewards before they removed ranked and they're replicas. Does that mean they're Replicas of the Replica?
  12. I'm fairly surprised the devs haven't given out Platnium flairs yet in PVP Seasons. I thought for sure by Season 4 they would've lmao.
  13. The devs would rather shovel another 30 minutes of Mandalorian story and Ahsoka "inspired" cosmetics at you than make real content or improve the content that MAKES the game engaging. It's typical of developers these days to go this route. I'm not sure what they gain from not listening to their player base but it's a absurd and very weird practice. Maybe they should take lessons from Jeff Bezos "The Customer is always first." (4) Jeff Bezos Customer Obsession 1999 - YouTube They can use some of what Bezos said and apply it to their business practices and i can guarantee the game will drastically improve. Ignoring the player base(The Customer) is a very terrible practice.
  14. People that do "it's just a game" response are typically the ones who lack any real thought process. From my experience, those ones are typically the worst players to encounter since they refuse to learn or do anything useful. They also do the "it's just a game" response because they can't think of anything else to say. Just realize people like them aren't worth wasting your time flaming or trolling. Can't troll someone whose brain is already deflated, it would be kicking a dead horse.
  15. I've played pvp in this game long enough to see horrible players. Majority of the game is literally so bad they can't even make heads or tales of the glowey buttons that appear on the screen after you do a ability. They could implement a system to where you have to actively participate in the match in order to get progress pvp seasons. For example, they could make people achieve 11 mil dmg in a warzone which is easy to do on most classes. They could have a dps requirement where in order to progress further in the season you need to do this dps at least once of let's say 14k. 14k is a relatively easy number to achieve on most dps specs. They could also do a Objective requirement as well. You get x amount of obj points to progress further. Stuff like this will prevent afking. For those who say 11mil Dmg is Unobtainable in a Warzone, that's 100% a skill issue, i have no issue reaching 11mil total dmg in a single warzone or doing 12k-16k dps in a warzone on most classes.
  16. The issue is majority of people in this game that pvp are downright horrible and clueless. If the devs really want to improve pvp in this game, they'll need to tackle the player skill issue by encouraging people to learn classes. There is no reason for anyone to learn another class in the game anymore unless you're wanting to get into NiM raiding. They can fix this issue by actively giving guides to the classes they designed by giving a tutorial or a training session. They could literally do a story training session with Darth Baras where you have to press x-x-x abilities or you'll fail. These are just examples of how they can approach this issue but knowing the devs they never listen to the community unless it involves something with the CM or a Credit exploit.
  17. I like at how they managed to make Samurai stuff incredibly ugly and unappealing. I mean it's just wtf. They still have that extremely weird shoulder pauldron fetish where they don't add one on the other side. Like legit if they stopped doing that, most of the sets they come out with wouldn't be half as bad. But then there are sets like the new Season 5 PVP Armor that is just horrendous looking. I'm overly positive they didn't show it on the dev stream because they knew how crap it looked.
  18. I've always been under the impression that EA doesn't really care what content BioWare did as long as it made them the big $$$ and %%%. If you look at any BioWare products for the last few years, they hire very questionable and outright horrible managers and producers(this does not include Jackie). Essentially a key to a successful and long lived business is quality leadership and guidance. Unfortunately BioWare has lacked that for years now and it reflects in their decision making for the game and the content they have produced. A great example of this is looking at the Armor and Weapon designs for the past few years. Majority of the content for this game has been piggyback riding off of whatever Disney has made for the past 6 years. The original content they have made such as the Onderon, Gemini, Iokath, new Rakata gear, etc is all horrible looking stuff that nobody wants to wear or asked for in general. This reinforces my point of poor leadership and guidance in the producer and management department. I just can't fathom how anyone finds those items appealing in the slightest. The last decent shell gear set we got was the Masterwork stuff and Exarch gear. The Exarch Force Mystic and Exarch Pummeler sets were dope if you dyed it properly. What happened to the sick designs like those that everyone liked? Just some of the examples i can go into but it would be a long post.

    The devs use the ranked elo system for the hidden mmr i'm pretty sure. So essentially when you're a good player, the game actively punishes you for being a good player by giving you the garbage global bait players thinking you can carry them. So a high win to loss ratio=harder games and harder carries in Arenas.
  20. The developers discourage active gameplay and have always done so. They fear it will lead to toxicity for people to actually pvp(which it does and always will because it's another person you're hitting) and to actively have competent players it means they have to do real dev work and not shoveling lazy crap out the door. All BioWare cares about nowadays is how much money they can make without having to spend money. It's a extremely greasy business practice that is done a lot in the business world today. All real passion for content now is solely driven by another person's pocket rather than soul. This goes for anything now, a real shame BioWare has forgotten their values they once had. BioWare used to be a widely renowned game studio for Storytelling next to Valve, nowadays it's nothing but greasy people trying to milk the Barbie whales that buy every little thing from the CM. A real shame and fall from grace. The Story of BioWare is almost like a tragic story, where you want to feel bad for them but you realize they've destroyed themselves over and over again with very dumb decisions which points to horrible leadership and guidance in the management department.

  22. The Devs have never cared about pvp in SWTOR. Ngl it seems to me that they'd rather sink a entire boat full of pvp oriented players and commit mass murder than actually balance and fix the most engaging quality of the game. It's so bizarre and weird that they neglect PVP and continue to do so. I'm still convinced Musco is still butthurt after getting flamed and farmed in PVP 7 years ago when he played Unranked Warzones on his Powertech and that's why BioWare neglects PVP.
  23. At least they nerfed Crushing Blow dmg increase taunt util. Oh wait, you can just get the 10% melee dmg bonus from Victor and essentially have it back to 50%.
  24. The Devs seem to think PVP is not inherently toxic when PVP is toxic in nature considering it's versing other players. The Issue with having rewards now is the Devs don't care and cater to the Story Players and Barbie Doll Players. Then you have the people who can't press 1-4 on Arsenal Merc and do 3.0 numbers in 7.0. Having requirements for anything in pvp is considered toxic according to BioWare but having requirements in PVE is not toxic and accepted. It's why Ranked PVP was removed among other reasons.
