  1. Red Sphere has been a super rare drop. Gree event. Veteran mode <edit> but i have seen it drop 20 weeks ago
  2. I don't feel like pinging everyone who said kick the player who is not spacebaring. There is some sort of lag. I was in the Esseles flashpoint multitple times when ALL four of us were in voicechat spacebaring and it wasn't skipping the scenes. I will never kick someone from a flashpoint even if that person is being toxic. I will just leave and go touch grass for 15 minutes. If Esseles pops no matter what I will drop group. I have better things to do with my time. 1 hour flashpoint? or 45 mins doing dread fortress and/or dread palace? I could form a group on fleet in 15 mins and run Dread Fortress during my lockout time and still finish dread Fortress before whatever group in Esseles finishes... and probably finish Dread Palace too. Just my two cents; it's all about about ROI.
  3. I would pay money to reset my Main toon to play more classes. Right now for example my Main toon is Sage/Shadow. Both of which I LOVE. But I would like to reset my secondary choice every once and a while and go Guardian tank or just jump on a watchman for some alt healing. I could swap to combat for some pvp seasons then swap over to Shadow for some heavy Master operations tanking. I would even say keeping the first pick would be great. Just give me the option to swap my second class over and over. (Like a Masters Datacron for Spec change out)
  4. no it is currently 4 ques. Premades are supposed to only match up against premades by design however this is not happening. Premades filled with randos arenas Premade filled with randos warzones. solo ques arenas solo ques warzones. the problem is that these four are intertwined making the game unbalanced.
  5. sorry i have to mention it every time. to be clear i said make valor legacy wide
  6. i get what you are saying. i literally play every single class in the game. It ain't pretty if I que as a Shadow tank or infiltration. Two cloaks is good but give me a ranged class. get me out of that melee pile. if que by valor don't forget everyone on your team is also qued by valor there would be no noobs on your team. Like for real, the 4 man queues would be better for sure. but 4 players with 4 noobs can still completely dominate a match of 2 experienced players on the other team with 6 goobers running around.
  7. I get what you are saying. but lets say someone started playing SWTOR this week? they queue for pvp and get completely squashed. I completely understand a player can hammer shot their why to 100 valor but at least that player has an idea of how to play the game. Also you said it would split it up into 4 queues. Technically it is already 4 queues... cept its not. What would happen is a slight balance. all of the premades would only be filled in with experience players and the opposing team would again be experienced players. Leading to a more competitive match Sub 80 noobs, Meanwhile are learning to hammer shot their way to 80 valor. They have an opportunity to test the waters. feel out how the classes work. learn how to kite. I know this is not the ultimate fix but it would certainly help.
  8. CURRENTLY. they were nerfed HARD last year around this time. ask around if you don't know. 120k crits on watchdog. they have been buffed twice as that nerf too hard of a nerf. If you don't know this then you have not been paying attention or have not been consistently playing the spec. And as I said many times before it is not a skill issue. I can 1 v 1 many players no problems. If you want you and i can go 10 rounds and I wipe the floor with you too. EnoMaster Starforge. /who Eno its probably me. we can meet at Lenore's rishi stronghold. I have yet to lose a 1 v 1 at Lenore's rishi Stronghold. The problem is Premades are hurting pvp. While I don't care one way or another about losing. I just want a fair shot. I want the pvp community to thrive. One way to do that is to valor vs valor balancing act linked to the que.
  9. I already mentioned a solution. valor as a gauge. legacy wide. all players with 80 valor (converted to legacy) or less would be slid into one tier. while 80 and above an grouped players would be in a different tier.
  10. I couldn't care less about what players in theory crafters have to say. Entitled players who don't actually say anything useful. The only reason i play balance was because of the horrid nerf Telekinetics got last year. One of the worst nerfs to any spec ever. I just swapped over to balance because it was there.
  11. Well i will tell you right now. The average player cannot kill me. I am accidentally playing madness and that class is beyond broken. Very few players can 1 v 1 madness players. Certainly not new players. So while premades ruin pvp. Skilled players ruin noobs. removing premades will help players like me GREATLY! perhaps a way to balance skilled players vs new players
  12. Hmm, all very interesting stuff here. I wonder if Broadsword could introduce a legacy wide Valor rank: If a player has valor of 80 or higher they would automatically be in the harder matches Premade or not. Groupe players would AUTOMATICALLY be given the level 80 rating. THEN all of the players with sub 80 Legacy valor would be in the NOOB PvP que. This would solve three problems: 1. New players learning warzones would be less likely to be destroyed or spawn camped leading to a more welcoming environment to PvP for Noobs. 2. Premades will always have a challenge. 3. Good solo players would have only at least slightly skilled players on their team. I do not choose to group up myself and I am Valor 100 on at least one toon so I would end up in the harder queuing group but at least I would know that my team is at least somewhat competent. I don't mind losing I just want the match to be close. 70 kills to 12 kills is kind broken.
  13. I don't think y'all are giving this objective a fair shake. 1. You don't HAVE to do anything. 2. how many of y'all completed the R8-X8 Heavy Tank Droid last week or what about Dread Pirate Karvoy?
  14. ...And you always fear what you don't understand. Carmine Falcone I once NEVER did operations. I hated them. poor leadership. terrible coordination. 3 hours of grinding one operation on story then failing. Now I do enjoy them. Story operations are really easy once you have done it once or twice. literally 2 DPS and 1 healer and 1 tank can carry the whole 8 man team. ... and the tank can even be in DPS gear with a shield. The player base is so overpowered now that story operations are almost silly with ease. So even 8 newish players could grind through a Story operation with a simple guide from the internet. If one person knows what they are doing and that one person can be the voice of the operation they become super easy. It just requires leadership. (I am not saying jump into R4 story or vet just the easy operations)
  15. Thank you for the feed back. I have to disagree with my collogues on this one. For ME personally 4 is not a huge issue as I will naturally do 2-4 in the course of a week. As long as Toborro's Courtyard, Colossal Monolith and Hive of the Mountain Queen are on the ticket (I don't know if these are) then this settings should be fine. The way I see it, people stay in the game for 3 three reasons and in this order: 1. Story 2. PvP 3. Operations (stay longer in the game if Operations with friends) So if you as a team are trying to drum up interest in operations through FOMO from the Galactic seasons this may very well be a good strategy. The game could use more players trying to create operation teams! Galactic Seasons/PvP seasons as I said before, is more of a fear of missing out rather than an actual incentive to play the game whereas Operations, gearing up and even simple achievement hunting are real reasons to play the game. Karaggas Palace takes about 45 min to 1 hour to complete but may take up to 30 mins to form. Dread palace dread fortress each take 1 hour but again will take 30 mins to form.
  16. Could there be some way to create a story difficulty operation but with the mechanics of Master operations? So basically the enemies would hit like a feather like they do now; but still wipe the group if not coordinated. Set true xyz Set false abc To minimized coding, the lockout could trigger story lockouts, story gear and achievements but just offer a fun challenge to practice Master Operations without the DPS checks and heal checks. Maybe even a practice operation that has story plus ALL master mechanics like Explosive conflict?
  17. Y'all being silly. That article cannot be 100% true there is NO WAY 80 developers were working exclusively on the this game NO WAY. 80? I mean 20 maybe? but 80? Do you realize what 80 developers can accomplish in a year? What 80 humans can accomplish in a year? No. I will wait and see what transpires. Half truths are not truth for me. Did you know that in sign language there is no word for exaggerate? ASL just uses the word LIE! I will wait and see what is truth and what is real.
  18. very very cool. I love the work that you are doing. that is some serious coding. So i don't want to break things already but in the 30 seconds that you posted this I figured out how to break it. Sorry I am not a schemer but I am pretty sure I could just post something on the GTN to artificially deflate the value at a vendor then take it down. THEN repost an over inflated price on the GTN and sell it back to the vendor. I am actually hoping this is not how it works but i thought i would throw it out there to fix before manipulators get their hands on this.
  19. Thank you for addressing this. The fact of the matter is that the hard core raiding community will just use Watchdog lockouts again and start selling raids again. (yes we will guide you through this Master Operation and give you the tokens for 12 [Hypercrate: Ultimate Cartel Pack]'s.) I have seen a few people who are in 340 gear who cannot even play their class properly let alone beat R4 Veteran. 99% of the player base does not even have 340 gear. A few select people have worked out ways to get the gear and repeated the bosses through lockouts and multiple toons on a legacy to get gear. This is not the same as actually beating the Content. How many people have beaten R4 on veteran? I suspect you as developers actually know. I mean actually beating lady Dominique. Cheesing Watchdog on veteran over and over is not actually completing content. Literally on WEEK 1 some people will have run R4 Master through 12 times on multiple toons. Then dust off their shoulder Luke sky walker style and ask for more content! Thank you so much for shutting down this toxic spam during the live stream. Thank you for focusing on content the ENTIRE player base will enjoy. May the Force be with you.
  20. Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? Arena lag was a problem. Any specific areas or planets where you feel the performance has lessened? Arena lag was a problem. What region/country do you reside in? United States Central Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla. Shae Vizla 185-230 ping. Star Forge ping 35-40 ping. Is grouped content working properly? I was queued with another healer in arena the other team had no healer. I was queued with another healer in Flashpoint I was a healer. How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? There were only 12 people on the fleet. 15 mins to pop. Over an hour for GSF to pop. Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? N/A Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? NA Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? I played with sound off sorry incomplete test on this one. No visual issues. Team mate fell through the floor on False Emperor FP . I am not sure where I didn't see it.
  21. There has never been a more stupid quest than this in SWTOR. I am all about the grind but this is beyond stupid! You literally "meditate" for 2 minutes two times at 1 of 3 locations in the galaxy. Who is this for? Role players? Then a 8 minute cooldown? AND the cooldown doesn't diminish while offline! This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen in a computer game. I don't know what is going on here. But this almost my last straw. Nerfing Telekinetics for no reason after we BEGGED you not to. Taxing the poor new players with this weird travel system taxation. This WILL NOT effect millionaires! You know it and you heard us but you implemented it anyway... We are willing to pay real money for a companion who speaks basic. and yet we got no voice acting. I absolutely love this game. I have found a new love playing different combat styles because of the pvp "role" objectives. The loadouts are amazing. You reduced the pvp requirements for arena advocator, thank you. I know that you are not going to make everyone happy and I know that you are humans on the receiving end of this but please don't give us busy work for content fillers. I have plenty of money in the real world for this game I don't mind spending it and neither do 10's of thousands of other players. Give us reasons to want to spend our money. <edit> after completing the mission it was not so bad. There was a huge group of people on Voss and a meditation Multiplier was applied. Still annoying but I got it done really quickly. Perhaps I should note be so quick to judge before reading the instructions.
  22. Thank you so much I really appreciate the changes. The queing times are logical. Arenas: For ME I can do well on my own. I can encourage other members of Pick Up Groups. I am not against premades, but in my experience Premades can global one new player very quickly. (Global - killing a player outright in the span of close to one Global Cool Down) While this is almost by nature what is going to happen pretty often anyway, newer players don't learn anything from laying dead of the floor every single match. Warzones: Pick up Groups are a bit hit and miss for wins. Two or Three players usually cannot win a match if 5 other players want to ignore objectives. Just knowing the other team is not a premade gives hope. Hope is a dangerous weapon. If we have hope we can create a spark. If we have a spark we can ignite a flame and we can win!
  23. Third test. New character. I pretended I didn't have 1 billion credits in my Legacy stronghold and just played normally. 1. the game does not inherently tell me about quicktravel. The only way I would even know about it is if someone told me. However since I do know about it I am level 9 and BROKE. I have no credits and I am struggling. 2. Repair bill at level 9. the game doesn't really tell me about repair so I probably would never repair my gear. there is enough gear drops to just replace it as I play and sell the old stuff... as I have no credits to expand my inventory either. I checked repair prices they were so low that I actually had the credits to repair. unfortunately the game keeps giving me Medium armor which I cannot wear so yay I get to sell but boo I cannot get more powerful. 3. To use a speeder cost 40,000 credits to learn and unlock in character perks... I HAVE to use quick travel because I am struggling to get anywhere. At this rate I will never learn speeder... I don't know when I will have 40,000 credits and 5000 to buy a speeder on the fleet or Coruscant. Quick travel is draining my funds as I generate credits through white drops. 4. my inventory is always full. so I have to use quicktravel to dump my materials. 5000 credits to unlock my inventory expansion which I don't have. the inventory I sold and the mission I was just on with white drops was completely absorbed by quicktravel to dump my materials. I had to sell everything in my inventory even stuff I would have used at a later time as I needed the room in my inventory so that I didn't have to use quicktravel as often so that I have more credits. 5. I have finished and left Tython with 512 credits in my inventory because I made conquest and spent that on speeder unlock. Chasing that carrot. Now I have to go buy a speeder. Final thoughts on changes: The quicktravel and repair bill actually added to game immersion. It felt like every thing was doing mattered. I had to make an active thought before heading out on a mission to dump my inventory. Should I take quick travel or save my credits? Should I sell this item to make room or keep it because I may need it later? I was a lowly apprentice with no lightsaber and no credits. The inventory being full was like I had a weight limit on things I could carry. It really gave me an old school The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind vibe. I was literally picking up everything. If there was a white drop I picked it up. I actually liked the changes. Suggestions: Perhaps every quick travel could be a percent of credits in legacy bank and personal inventory at all times. Like 5%-10% of all credits owned per quick travel. Make it every single type of travel. Strongholds, Starships. heroics, Priority (sharing a mission costed a 5% percent to receive) . Only new players will be affected by quicktravel as it currently is. Transferring credits to an offshore account (fake credit hording account/guild bank should cost 15%-20% transfer fee both directions mail or ingame trade!) This would fix the economy and keep it fixed forever. Guild summons would need to align as well some how. each summon would be a 2% of all credits in bank? I have BILLIONS of credits and a percent tax is the only way you will get me to willingly spend my fortune. Maybe make me pay for stronghold upkeep by percentage on all strongholds even the ones I never use. (DC Universe charged me a fee for stronghold upkeep) Thank you for reading this thank you for the efforts you put into the game.
  24. Priority Transport Terminal now costs the original planet travel costs to transfer between daily areas. Are there methods of travel that have no cost that you would expect to have a cost? The game is not charging me for priority transport. Transportation to heroic terminals is not costing me anything. Do the Quick Travel costs seem fair? Do you think this will affect your usage of Quick Travel? I transferred to pts with 1 billion credits. I put 10 million on my player the rest in my stronghold. I would have to travel 2000 times to be at zero. I literally don't care. Travel to Strongholds now costs the original planet travel costs to transfer between planets. Traveling from stronghold to a charge was incurred. This Makes absolutely no difference in my gameplay as I NEVER travel from stronghold to stronghold. There is no reason to. 120 credits to travel to Umbaran train... why it is just an added click. it is annoying like a fly. Yavin and Rishi were free. Sorry I am super confused. This is just annoying. I would gladly buy every single stronghold again and unlock every single room to not have an extra click... But as I said before I don't travel from MY stronghold to MY stronghold. There is no need unless maybe I was doing a recruiting drive. Legacy Fleet pass III failed to apply to my character meaning there is a 1 hour cooldown to get to fleet. Meaning I had to go through the Starport. Do you find yourself having to repair more or less often? repairing more or less makes zero difference. If you take damage repair your gear. Red Reaper solo vet start to finish. Myself and Lana. No Stealth. two beat down deaths. 2 fall deaths. i336 gear Repair bill was 68,003. price is irrelevant. if i see a repair station i repair my gear. THIS time i waited until the end to finish.
