  1. I wouldn't mind it being a thing, and I know some people who'd like that.
  2. Interacting with support usually takes such a long time, I try to explore every other option possible before actually contacting them. Just the other day, I logged in DK spaceport, and got stuck in the console you interact with for class story. /stuck didn't work, and with no other option for me to extract myself and continue the story, I had to call in a friend Sorc to pull me out. Because ETA on that option is up to several hours, instead of up to a week, like is the case for customer support. And that's an unforgiving amount of time, given that a sub is 30 days, and you're supposed to abandon the character you currently play for up to a week in case something happens.
  3. Other than wanting to do the content, and maybe get some Ops specific drops, no, there's literally no reason to, not with the way current gearing method is handled.
  4. I don't think a complete overhaul will ever take place, when we got Onslaught instead of a proper expansion. I would like, however, for the devs to continue to improve this cripple of an engine into something I don't have to reboot after 4 hours of client uptime, because it starts to lag something fierce.
  5. Timeline shenanigans never stopped cartel market from putting things in game for no other reason that "it looks cool and people will pay", with no consideration for current time period. Even if we don't take cartel market into account, we have a promotional mini-pet from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is about as far away in terms of timeline as this droid. 1) You assume I don't know it, which is kind of funny. 2) So? Your point being? 3) Considering how pointlessly rude your post has been over a simple suggestion, I can't say I care about your opinion on canon and what should and shouldn't be in game. Okay, that I didn't know. Going to check it out. Thanks for the suggestion!
  6. Yeah, I've been wondering what the hell is with all the empty messages. I lost nothing, as far as I can tell, but it seems every item that sells creates double email for it.
  7. 20 character or something in total, but mostly prefer to keep 2 active, one Imp and one Pub. Mains are those that I find the most fun to play at the moment, the rest are kept for story and grouping.
  8. Still happening, usually after any cutscene ends. I've had this happen to me pretty much everywhere, not just on Hammer Station. Thankfully, we've got Ctrl+U, but is this really such a bug that can't be fixed and must be left for players to manually fix themselves (if they even know about Ctrl+U)?
  9. I'm surprised no one thought of this one, considering the hype over Baby Yoda and Mando.
  10. Created a bounty hunter recently, and oh boy, these spammers are very active on Hutta. Something definitely needs to be done about them.
  11. Really? PvP isn't my thing, so I usually avoid PvP instances, unless I want an instance with population of 1-2 players XD
  12. Alright, after some testing, I finally figured out how to get the bloody achievement without pulling my hair out in the process. It still requires plenty of time, but much less than what I wasted on it previously, when the event just started. 1) Put on a song playlist, a podcast or whatever makes hours of repetitive activity less of a pain in the butt for you. You're going to need it. 2) Go to Preferences -> Nameplates and uncheck "Scale Nameplates With Distance". That makes spotting a wookiee easier. While you're at it, disable everything else that is of no immediate interest to you while hunting for this cheevo (like nameplaters of other players). 3) You're going to need about 4 characters (+/-1, depending on instance availability and how fast you can load) that have access to personal ship. 4) If you're in full 306, do yourself a favor and put it all in inventory. Ideally, you're not gonna fight anyone, but if you do, at least you won't have to pay the ridiculous repair bill. 5) Login on the first character. Go to Nar Shaddaa Promenade area, hug the wookiees. There are 2 near Imp/Pub taxis, 3 on the second floor, the rest on the first floor and not that hard to find. Repeat this process on all instances, including PvP. If you see players of opposing faction hugging wookiees, try to avoid attacking them. This achievement is painful to get as it is, without being delayed by pointless duels. 6) Go to Mek-Sha Slugfall Cantina. Go up, and you can't miss the wookiees. There are 12 of them. Hug them all and repeat the process on every instance available to you. 7) Login on the second character. Repeat everything you did during 5-6 steps of this guide, then login on the 3rd and 4th characters. Usually, by the point you finish everything on the 3-4th toon, the first character can hug wookiees again. 8) Repeat until you hit 1000. If you're having trouble activating a hug, stand directly before a wookiee (on the green circle thing), RMB a wookiee and see what the pop-up message is. Press "/". If it says you're too close, do several steps back. If you're too far, step forward. "/" is used to activate walking, so your steps are small and you have more control over them.
  13. Logged in today and checked if anything changed: wookiees became much easier to hug. I no longer have to use "/" for precision walking. Now I just have to see if anything was done about ridiculous CD on each of them. Update: Mek-Sha has wookiees. Go to Slugfall Cantina and look around.
  14. Furry hugger, more likely. But seriously. I asked in the game itself, and I'm obviously not alone in my frustration. So far, I've been running for about 2 hours, and only got about 50 hugs per character before I have to switch. Is this really how this achievement is supposed to be done? If so, I'm gonna drop hunting for it.
  15. Am I the only one finding this achievement impossibly frustrating? You're supposed to hug a wookiee. No, /hug isn's enough, you must use a special ability. That activates only when you're this close. No, not that close. Now you're at a wrong angle. Again, wrong angle. Still wrong angle and distance. Yes, now you're at the right position, and you're supposed to wait all 4s, or the hug won't count. Now repeat all of this 1000 times. And you can only hug a wookiee once per instance, so, after you've done it all, there's little choice but to swap toons. Like, compared to usual Life Day activities, this is not fun at all, so I'm at the point of just skipping the achievement altogether.
  16. To introduce a entirely new class into the game, the developers would need to create content from 1.0 to the current patch. And you ask them to make two classes. That's just not realistic, considering the rate and amount at which we receive new storyline content.
  17. They do? Oh joy. I have, like, a thousand parcels to go through from the previous Life Day XD
  18. Yes. Provided you have the patience. Or you can cheese it. There are plenty of videos out there, explaining how to, but you'll miss on two legacy titles ("The Wolf of Rishi" + "Lord of the Oceans"). They really are a pain, if you try to do them the way the developers intended. They are not bugged, despite the fact that topic starter continues to insist on them being bugged. Just follow Dulfy's instructions and you should be fine. Word of advice: if you're adamant on doing it "the Bioware way", after you get each Data Packet, drop them off in Cargo Hold, so you won't accidentally sell them as a junk. Because the required items are labeled as a junk.
  19. Full Beskar armor sounds good. Just please make it HQ. Blurry textures make my eyes bleed, so that would be an instant skip.
  20. They usually do? Once the Life Day rolls out, so do the CM items associated with it.
  21. GTX 1060 here, no graphic glitches happening whatsoever, aside from the engine being its usual mess and affecting fps.
  22. This datacron was designed to be that way, so nothing's gonna be done about it. Be thankful you don't have to compete with other players, with such a wonderful RNG in place, like it happened back when SoR launched. Rishi is a barely populated planet, so it's mostly you and the mobs. Especially if you go PvP. It's a completely skippable activity, so if you don't like it, no one's forcing you to go through it.
  23. Yeah, I rather like quite a few of those. Why not bring them back as empty shells to Adaptive Gear vendor in the Supply area of the Fleet?
  24. OBS Studio is what I use. You can configure pretty much everything you may need for streaming or local recording. If a huge file size is a big no, you can always manually limit the bitrate, do a minute test recording and figure out your comfortable quality to file size ratio.
