  1. I’m finding myself completely unsatisfied with Galactic Seasons 3: "Luck of the Draw" The rewards compared to the last two seasons seem to have been halved, for no reason other than greed as far as I can tell, the unlock for the companion (who is rather lackluster imho) has been increased by ten-fold, literally when compared to unlocks from the last two seasons. If this trend continues, I don’t see myself playing swtor next year at all. As it stands right now, the rewards for season 3 aren’t enough to keep me playing at all, the cosmetics appear substantially poorer quality and once again the unlocks are increased in price by several times, and if im being honest I find that the general design behind this new series of junk to be fairly unappealing (though admittingly such things are held in the eye of the beholder), just the textures alone make these new items look like plastic toys instead of the deadly weapons and gear their supposed to look like. The previous seasons had weapons and armor that actually looked pretty good, like one could reasonably see such gear in sci-fi futuristic combat situations, and not the discount section in the local discount halloween store. And you had ample amounts of cartel coins as subscriber rewards, as well as having cheap unlock costs for the rewarded cosmetics you earned, now it feels like I have to buy the cosmetics that I just earned/won through the galactic seasons I’m playing through… the low coast unlock combined with the good visual quality rewards made the first two seasons of galactic seasons worth playing. And finally, I was expecting at least some new story content introduced with the last few patches, if not the main content updates… right now I don’t really feel that swtor has been worth my time, and I really haven’t been playing much lately as a result. edit---- after rereading this i just realized my suggestion might not be readily apparent... likely the painkillers im on as i sit/lay on my hospital bed, they're likely squelching such perceptions. now, i'm simply suggesting three things here... first) reduce the cost of galactic season unlocks back to what they have been for the last two seasons (namely 15cc) second) increase the subscriber rewards to the last two seasons' levels finally) start using higher quality meshes and textures again, the gear on offer for the previous seasons was as far as i can tell visually superior in most regards, regardless of my personal opinions on the designs of the weapons and armor myself.
  2. that sound's like the old KotFE tutorial too me (as i recall it was so new players who just rolled a level 60 toon right off the bat didn't get confused by getting the full set of abilities thrown at them all at once), i thought they removed it, but iirc there used to be a start the tutorial checkmark & a disable the tutorial X button, so you might try opening the tutorial screen and seeing if there's an off switch.
  3. there's also some early modular starter pistols that look like that, the one on the top right look like the mandalorian heavy blaster that used to be in the old command crates.
  4. i bought the rascal's way blaster pistol with cartel coins and it cost me a great deal, and for the holster bug to go on for so long without a fix is absurd to say the least. for me the holster always vanishes after a cut scene, or if it has already vanished it may return, if i'm dual-wielding rascal's way pistols the off hand blaster may vanish at this point too, the main hand or off hand will disappear after transitioning to or from instances, or if it is already missing it may return when transitioning to or from an instance.
  5. i have to say it irks me that when i hit level 76 my level 75 set gear no longer gets any bonuses, now, if there was new gear to pickup at level 76, i could understand that, however, the next gear set is level locked at 80. is it too much to ask to have our level 75 gear cover the entire gap up to level 80? keeping it's effectiveness till at least level 79?
  6. @Screaming_Ziva i don't see your point, if there's an operative or scoundrel in your party they have access to an ability that can get non-stealthers through anyway... so, to me kind of reduces the impact of your argument. ---edit i didn't really see the logic or point of your argument, and the more i think about it the less sense it seems to make to me. as to the can you not just step out of a fp, some you can when you don't go through groupfinder, there are others it can cause issues with (and most of the time i'd get dumped back at the beginning of the flashpoint when i reentered, as best as i can recall anyway)
  7. so, as the title states... i think it would be more helpful/useful if we could changeout our loadouts in instances, such as flashpoints. seems like a waste to me to restrict this, as i think this functionality is what the loadout system should have been designed for, if not designed around it.
  8. what the title says. as it stands (iirc) only humans & cyborgs can have evil yellow sithy eyes from the start on the character creator. i was trying to make a darth talon clone (basically a twi'lek sith stripper) and the one thing i was missing was her eyes, now to keep her looking like talon i had to keep the ds transition off, as not only do they usually look ugly, it makes her not look like darth talon. so, i see no reason not to add the yellow sithy eyes to every race.
  9. so, last week i was doing the nar'shaddaa bonus questline, got about half way through the whole thing hit my conquest goal with that character, and decided to finish it next week, well when logging back in i discovered that the missions timed out, and if i wanted to finish it i'd have to redo it from the very beginning... it was a mistake to include a timer with these missions. why, you ask? for a few reasons: 1) usually these missions are buggy to begin with, especially belsavis, and republic tatooine (this one is ridiculously broken) making them a pain to start with, add a mission timer and it's not even worth our time anymore 2) like the actual planetary mission, the bonus missions always have mission progression, you do all the mission this area here, move to the next camp, do those missions, move to the next location, that's time consuming and i don't usually do them in one sitting. sometimes i don't even do em in the same week. 3)most players see the bonus missions as a complete waste of time already, but this has actually made them a literal waste of time, which i have no desire to waste my time on with the missions being altered and left in their current state.
  10. i had this issue as well, however i found that if i went to fleet myself and ran through the flashpoints without using groupfinder i then got credit for doing one.
  11. well, i've got about 23 or so maxed toons that have all been fully geared, and 3 toons i'm slowly leveling that are around 50-60 atm, and i'm constantly running out of techfrag "room". i find it annoying as hell.
  12. here's the issue i'm having with the lana romance. so, my first (and favorite) imperial character, a female twi'lek assassin, romanced lana in SoR, hit every flirt option in kotfe, and kotet, got the romance check in the cantina, and locked in the romance, went through iokath/nathema conspiracy etc. without any flirt options, nor the option to propose, and by the time i started her on the next bit of content (jedi under siege iirc), her notes on the companion sheet doesn't even mention the romance/s (when it had before).
  13. i hate this mission. i've never had a remotely easy experience with it. i've got 12 or so characters that have gone through this one, and the number of times i've had a single cloaked ****er who was outside an aoe circle take out all 3 trainees with either a single shot or burst of shots (all 3 at once), or a sniper charge shot picking off one because for some reason i drop aggro somehow... and the whole let your companion do all the work is bs too, as them trainees seem to have an insta aggro effect or something, as they seem to take instant fire from at least one hostile. ---edit and the quick travel and speeder insta-fail is idiotic.
  14. that's where my main imp toon has been for like a year or so.
  15. have they fixed this yet, as i've stopped playing the recruitment stuff over it?
  16. so, i've gotten to the point where gemini tries to poison you and senya with those big toxic tanks, and the repair droids keep repairing them. so i destroyed all the tanks, and the repair droids, the next compartment opened up, however, the poison status didn't clear, and even kept building up, i got through the next cutscene, which stopped the buildup, however it didn't clear the 47 stacks of poison i and senya had... so i had to quit the game and restart to clear the poison.
  17. the elite sand people seem to be immune to movement impairing effects now. this is extremely annoying for my sniper.
  18. so doing hammer station on vet, the first boss, (it's a three for), the champion level boss was giving me the positioning bug the entire fight, so i could only hit him with AOEs... which was extremely annoying.
  19. honestly, i love level sync. why? because if i'm doing content on a planet that's drastically lower level (either because i'm helping someone through content, or because of conquest events), i actually have a little bit of challenge (ok, hardly any at all if i'm being honest), it's still nice to get a reasonable amount of xp, or rp for my trouble. instead of getting nothing out of if because i'm so drastically over-leveled. and honestly, if you could solo world bosses... what's the point?
  20. i've played the battle for odessen like 5-6 times on as many characters, and every time i find the walker sections to be insufferable, and i couldn't figure out why, till i finished my last run. so, i noticed during these walker sessions that whenever a hostile walker took an action (such as firing off shots), my walker would be affected by their cool down, no matter what they did, it was my quick bar that would be affected by their action. it even interrupted my channeled abilities. my guess is that it has something to do with the fact we're using the same type of walkers.
  21. you might have missed that one of the cords has 2 panels that need to be sliced (might be the yellow one, can't recall off hand), and that panel underneath is always highlighted, even when it's already been used.
  22. i was getting fairly low item level drops when i was running flashpoints with my guildmates. at the time i think my item rating was 288, and most of my drops were like 274-278, they (my guildies) said that the drops weren't based off of just my gear's item rating, but my inventory's combined item rating is added in there too. once i dropped all my empty armor bits (which i use for my companions), and constantly scrapped the lower level items i was picking up, i started getting better drops.
  23. i couldn't seem to find a clarification on this, so, i'm hoping it's not true. thanks to a warning from a friend or two, i've been operating under the impression that the gear that actually drops (at least form renown, flashpoint/operation, daily/weekly crates & bosses) are determined not only by your character's item rating, but also the combined item rating of everything in your inventory? honestly this sounds idiotic to me, as when running flashpoints or usually just in general i tend to pickup items i intend to sell on the gtn; items that likely have a lower item rating then i'd find useful, on top of that i usually carry alternate outfits for my companions (started off-loading those when doing FPs and OPs), for getting them to visually match different environments (i'm a bit of an RPer), as wearing an outfit that exposes a bunch of skin may work on taris, or balmorra, not so much on hoth, or llum. so, would it be too hard to simply link the item drops solely to the character's items rating from the gear they're actually wearing, and not the rating of the character's inventory as well, if this is not the case, then please disregard this whole rant.
  24. i'm thinking a pack of 5 for $15-20 if you sell them at all, and/or subs get maybe token 1 per month, or you add them to command crates (or whatever replaces them, if they get replaced), with a limit of 5-10 tokens per account. ---edit and honestly, i actually wasn't even thinking of selling them in the first place (mainly for that reason). i was actually thinking of making them potential rewards for doing subscriber content. like a rare drop in vet ops, or vet uprisings, (or even master flashpoints, if you could easily work in an ifso function to the loot pool to prevent non-subs from spawning them) ---edit again and if you do wind up putting them in master fps, you could tie the rare drop to the bonus boss.
  25. not what i was referring to. i wasn't talking about buying a whole new outfit on the cartel market. i'm talking an outfit you've already bought, used, and unlocked copies for other toons on your account with cartel coins, and using a gift token to make an extra copy of the outfit you can gift. ---more edit for instance: you've already bought the bastila shan outfit on the cartel market, it's been equipped so that parts are bound, and you've also unlocked it account wide, you have the option of using a gift token to make a second copy of the outfit (like how you make a copy for a new toon in your account), and you can send it in the mail, or trade it in person. ---more edit and i'm not saying that's how it should work, as there's flaws that can be exploited, but that's the basis of it.
