With everyone now hunting the Aquatic trinkets to advance the worst armoring development in gaming history, it was a great idea to reduce the number of dailies to just a few, but it is still possible to complete them without scores of people just waiting around for respawns, If you reduced the number of dailies and the instances available then you could make it really ridiculous. And turning the Armor we spent many hours tuning and gathering off at level 76 while not allowing new armor to drop to level 80 was brilliant, rub the nose in how bad it is! And making FP bosses harder to kill too was just great, I was not able to get my healer into the new Flashpoint Legend of Sith since he couldn't kill the boss in the cave, the companions left during the fight, since we can't skip all that and enter ( like we can with ossus) only the toons that finished the game before the destruction of the Sith could get into the new game, thanks. Removing the rewards from story flashpoints was just a poke in one eye but making the FPs not fun any more (too hard even for my mighty Madness sors (now retired), oh he could do my used to be favorite FP if I want to fight trash mobs like they are veteran mode now, the fun is gone and no useable drops, great work. Tip you havn't destroyed GSF yet, might put that on your list when you reduce Dailies down to 1. Guess this will be a last post as I guess I can't post as a FTP. Congrats to all, I need to dowload WOW so that's all for now. (don't worry I already gave away my 4 guilds with scores of players)
  2. I have crafters in the guild who want materials that can only be obtained in RANKED pvp or 10K fragments. Why is SWTOR promoting Ranked pvp knowing the rampant hacking they allow with all the FTP people risking nothing to hack and make PVP distasteful . It's hard to get people to put up with pvp let alone Ranked, I quit Ranked long ago when I realized that is where the real hardcore asses hang out, and it's so bad out of 20 Ranked Pvps I had 18 that were 4on4 because no decent player wants to be there, never enough people signed on for a Huttball etc. Forcing my Sub-scripted Founder Crafters to play Ranked PVP for mats is unconscionable. Regular pvp is usually a match of who has the most and best hackers. Really, there's no algorithm to detect that a player is DPSing 10 times normal and doing massive group healing at the same time? Diablo2 could detect if you used maphack and auto ban you 20 years ago lol. I used to like pvp before Onslaught ruined loot, and I still do it occasionally, and on the rare occasion it;s not a hack game it's ok. The mats should not be tied to it though, most decent players don't like pvp.
  3. It was common to recruit more since a lot of people wont be showing back up the next week, only 1 in 10 actually play the game and only 1 in 100 are reliable. So you think it makes sense that I start a new toon and work him not my other characters, I do 2 million on my new guy and it doesn't count toward my conquest, ? That makes no sense , what a tool. Also I don't recruit as much since they wont be adding to conquest, as a result I lose about a million conquest points, Satele realm is so weak that it put us from large to medium conquest there, Starforge is much more active and it's just less points but still easily large invasions. Obvious that these comments don't come from people who know anything about running a guild.
  4. So we start a new toon but his activity doesn't count to protect the established new member from some form of non-existent abuse makes perfect sense to you? I've run guilds for years, I currently am GM of 4 sister guilds, I have recruited thousands, we love noobs, I have many founders, none of us has heard of or experienced this 'abuse'. But I watch my members new toon be 'initiate' and not be able to count his activity, I can't see what the noob is doing so I can just promote him based on seeing him on line more than an hour. This is stupid, execution might be better than just torute.
  5. All this change did was hurt guilds and new players, New players can't participate in the guild conquest so they can't be rewarded for achievement and the guild is screwed out of their points. What is especially stupid beyond belief is current members can't start a new toon or bring in an alt have their contribution count. If a lot of people were being mistreated by guilds during conquest then I would have seen a large increase in people wanting to join a guild, there was 0 change. Whoever thought of this should be sent to the torture chamber.
  6. I heard a rumor about this, I was supposed to be contacted: I have 4 sister guilds all doing large invasion SF and SS (Hand of the Council, Hand of Tython , Far Far Away. The biggest hassle is there is no search tool or alphabetical way to distribute keys, takes a long time to search randomly for alts etc. 2) When we have expanded the ship to 15 open we no longer need encryptions, why can't the add pods, even 1 to mastery that require 100 encryptions to be added on to the ships? Many real planes have multiple pods for fuel, weapons, comms, photos etc. 3) banning people needs to be improved: when someong robs the bank, quits guild and goes off line I have no way from preventing them from rejoining as I can't ban them if they are off line. 4) There are those who would like to compete for planet invasions, occasionally there are multiple planets available for each level, why not all the planets every week?> We don't use 'aids' like 'pocket heal' oh it's fun to be on with some one from xanctuary or what ever, and be 'healed' all the time and be 'invincible' but we just stay legit. Making more planets available tho could make it fun to compete. There's no reward for #2 spot, that could be improved. 5)PVP, isn't worth much but does count for social credit, individual players have little to do with win or lose, why not the same reward for win or lose, with all the hacking it's generally a joke any way. Before Onslaught I got great loot, now it same old disassemble crap. And end the endless 4 on 4, you get trapped in a game where both sides are heal hacked and nobody can die, just goes on for ever, end it after 5 min. 6) We take in a lot of new players and encourage them to sub, allowing the guild master to issue some 1 week sub trial passes or something would be interesting, Why can't FTP use the guild bank, that hurts us as they can't donate the encryptions they earn etc. I don't know who organized the GM meeting but great Idea , our discord is open and xdandeman@hotmail.com is good contact.

    There's a lot of cover up of the hacking, they love it for some reason, that's why pvp is a joke, but still a small value for conquest points. SWTOR doesn't seem to care and if you say anything to them thy put you on IGNOR so you never get mixed in with the hackers and always lose lol. Easy just go to Hackerbot.net and see how they do it. why? I don't know, they're just stupid I guess. Now 20 years ago Diablo could detect if you used maphack and ban you, so SWTOR seems to support this by not banning the hackers. I've had the Healer and been bubbled not healing but my 'team ' was able to restore full health while doing massive dps lol. Most the 'top' guilds probably use this. Anyway not worth it to me, still do some to get conquest is all (just need a match for social credit is all). Too bad, could be fun if they'd clean it up, .

After Onslaught so much fun was drained out of the game I went FTP, and noticed , hey they don't care, i could join the hackerbot team and have hacked guys doing pvp if I wanted, no benefit being a legit sub. Then they revamped Conquest and made the game fun again. so hey FF sucks and now SWTOR is fun, now I see every week the fun is being drained, Now no small invasion, so I don't need to "waste' time on SS , those guilds can't do 2 mil. Soon I expect they'll drain more fun, what's a good alt game FF just sucks too old and slow, ?
  9. In the game I've dealt with so many 'spirits' why isn't there a sage or warlock who can control spirits and raise the dead or control the animals to attack and conquer? The witchdoctor or necromancer D3 has is cool.
  10. After we open up the ship...? How about adding pods, a fighter can have cannon pods, fuels pods , bomb pods, recon pods etc. why can't we add pods, even if they only add a small fraction of endurance , mastery, resistance what ever it would still be a worthy conquest goal to add pods to a complete flagship. For instance to get an additional 1% mastery we would have to earn 500 encryptions to buy a recon pod. And why would there be a limit a big starship like we have could have unlimited pods .

I did KOFE twice before months/years ago and thought I'd give it another try with higher levels and more experience lol but I gave up in chap 14 with the constant being gassed to death, what idiot thought of that, at least you let us bypass this *** wipe expansion with Ossus, for that I thank you. too bad as some of the quests in KOFE ET like the times you get in a walker would make great flash points. Making the game suck is why I only subscribe monthly now, holding my nose, as my guilds decline due to lack of interest in the game since the Onslaught nerfing. Maybe things will be adjusted but wow. Diablo 3 had the same ideas way back and as we left to go back to diablo2 they realized only a few nerds wanted a hard to play game so they made 13 selections, you could select super hard if you wanted or just casual game play like people who get off work and dont want to die over and over or have to youtube everything like to play.

My selections when I hit the K key to select seem to be geared for PVP, since the elimination of rewards for losing teams (only the most hacker team wins) I only do pvp for conquest, I used to do 4 character complete dailies gsf and pvp but since it's now rare to get loot I don't. What is interesting are the FPs and Ops, and many of those have ridiculous DPS requirements ( hundreds of us used to enjoy WB events on Ossus, and now the dps requirement has ruined that) however we don't get a lot of dps choices in proficiencies, most seem geared for pvp crap. I really don't think a majority of players like pvp, and since it's been made pointless to play I think even less. I don't understand the emphasis on that crap, the worst, most antisocial, hacked players are in that group, I quit ranked pvp a while ago when I realized these were not the kind of people I choose to associate with, very rare to get a ranked that wasnt 4 on 4 because of that, so these slugs play unranked. Having ruined ranked they ruin unranked instead , and this activity seems to be rewarded by EW SWTOR, since now they are the only ones to get loot in pvp. While the majority of players who would like to do group FPs other than Hammer Station don't waste their time getting wiped there, and the fun events like Ossus WB has been ruined as well. I see the current conquest gives great rewards for pvp, and I did those, it still seems counter productive and a subscription deterrent, I know I am having a hard time choking on the pill of paying for this drastic reduction in game fun.
  14. I posted this to a friend who's been playing much longer than me. He's been thru expansions before, but "It's just becoming more obvious they plan to let the game fail, sad, there's dailies you can't do on Onderan because the items never spawn, and they are pretty boring dailies anyway., You would think they would have fixed the story line at least but i cant do Sneak no more and can't abandon it , they dont give you the 'holocommunicator you're supposed to use , pvp is just rampant with hackers and they dont give the reward any more unless you are on the winning team (You used to get the reward as long as you got 1 medal, can't get 8 medals with all the hacking. customer service doesn't respond any more. sad, guess I'll be looking for something that's not dieing, , ."

I get crap rewards from pvp, I already have level 270 and never enjoyed fishing around to see if 1 mod is better than another, it's crap, This one has more power while that one has more critical, why not spend a half hour on the internet and see which is better for the guy you are playing, thats just crap. Where is the stuff I can sell on the GTN, gone just crap. PVP winning is based on if you are lucky enough to get on the team with the biggest hacker, esp. if has the pocket healer where he heals twice as much as my committed healer while DPSing more than any one else. Easy to see these guys some times, sometimes it's hidden. Woopee it's good conquest points toward crap loot. It's hard to stay motivated and play more than enough to get a conquest done, while before it was hours on the game running 2 guilds and conquesting and selling on the GTN. Hopefully the story line will stay interesting and they wont add a bunch of 'veteran FPs' where you have to dink around and get a good group like they ruined Dantooie with. I may not be renewing my sub, poor guilds will become FTP sad

  18. ya they did not increas the pts for completing missions (Like black hole daily) so to complete 50K for conquest just got twice as hard. While pvp seems more fair and does give increased pts its not enough to offset the loss of value in missions. so before it took 9 people getting 15k to get the small invasion it now takes 10 people doing twice the work to get the small invasion, BOHICA.

As you know many time we face the hacked up team, while years ago Diablo could detect Maphack and remove offenders automatically , SWTOR seems unable to detect a hacker who does more DPS than everyone else combined and has more heals than a commited healer to boot, but when we set behind a wall and can not get back to defend our position it is really the game that decides the winner not the players. I've set behind the wall with most my team while the other hacked up side just blows open the doors and walks in for the win. But why are not all my skills reset after a death,? I go back after being hacked to death to not be able to use my 'unstun' defense, or my leap or what ever only half my skills are reset after death. I suggest you quit hiring the losers who ruined wow for your pvp department and see if you can get some diablo guys to clean up pvp. Also pvp can be a key asset to my guild getting conquest, let the FTP guys do more than 5 a week Jeez it takes more than that to get the dailies and social 1 and 2 for my conquests. I need the guys to get er done,. Thanks
  20. Conquest Goals: I have 2 guilds, one IMP one PUB both maxed out (1000 is too small, some players have >25 toons, some may go inactive for months (military deployment etc.). We recruit and encourage new players. Currently about 1 in 6 players make 50K on conquest. It's a big deal when a new or inexperienced player finally gets the 15K goal and starts really working with the team. Raising the requirement to 50K for conquest will really harm this team activity. I have experienced players with many toons who are greatly distressed that they wont be able to do multiple conquest, discussion is they wont renew their subscriptions, waiting to see if this happens. It is in everyones interest to attract and maintain new subscribers, the penalties on my FTPs are too high, (I need my guys to Summon, have full use of the guild bank, mail, etc.) but they need to subscribe. To administer and hopefully fix problems (such as all the hacking in pvp) takes time and money so we encourage subscription and purchasing cartel items. Too bad we can't purchase subscription time to either sell on GTN or award high perfromers but I have done that via Amazon with gift card. What is my tool to encourage team work if Conquest becomes unattainable or too difficult for the new/ inexperienced player? I am also in an OPS guild that months ago was thriving medium yield (before the changes to conquest) and now is dormant... The team work wasn't built. I think it's better the way it is as we can get more new players and recruit new subscribers. I asked how the 'big' guilds make 10 times our score... I think it's by having 'elite players, probably very low recruiting of new players. One of my senior leaders says they know how to cheat, I don't know. I run into them on occasion and I think they only cater to 'good' players and don't tolerate 'noobs'. Who will become the next subscriber, the committed 'PVPer' or that guy who just discovered the game and needs help through the hoops? (about 1 in 15 of my 'noobs' becomes a good team member, about 1 in 100 becomes a leader, subscribing is a big deal) That's my observations after having been bagged and conned into being GM of 2 thriving guilds, I spend hours on management and see discussions in game and on discord. I hope things are great with X pac, some of us have dozens of toons to upgrade when that hits and wont have a lot of time to grind conquest like now. Thanks for allowing us input.

  22. For many months I have endured hack v p. for the xp and daily loot. Now it is an important tool for my guild to get conquest done, I tell them to just laugh at the hackers and get the credit and loot win or lose. Now 2 times my daily loot box has not contained the valuable "Refined Isotope Stabilizer" ? That was a main reason enduring hack v p was worthwhile you could count on decent loot. Why the change. ?? Earlier I suggested enhancing PVP for legit players by reducing rewards for the hackers, making 6 medals only needed for conquest reward (my dps guys with heal have no problems , any one else usually not able to get 8, unless on a hacked team) this is the opposite . I also suggested timing 4 on 4, getting in a hack game that can't end because nobody can die is just a colossal waste of time, you have to windows out and close the game , reboot. But watching hacked up clowns dance around and massacre people when I know in the end I'll get credit winor lose is one thing but decent loot made it worthwhile, 2 of 3 times today I did not get a refined isotope stabilizer in my daily loot I used to get better loot in the weekly to that has changed in the last few months. What's the point?

No some do say that, but most do not, You see a purple triangle and think , " a mission for me" you go here you go there you go thru airlocks , get there then Hey, you can't use Kolto stations you're not in a group. No good reason for it, they could be 'story mode' or at the beginning make it clear, at the source.

So someone happy to have a group do the work likes it and can do it fast lol "Besides that KDY runs are very quick typically anyway when you work with your PuG group and let them get on with inputting the codes for the ship construction or whatever else but contribute your effort to clearing trash mobs and the like, you should be able to reach your end point in 10-15 minutes and the final boss kill a few minutes later, it usually takes 20 minutes to complete a KDY run. I know from experience on the subject how easy it can be after doing in a few hundred times in the past. it doesn't need changing." Doesn't explain why someone who wants to solo it can't use the KOLTO stations or how it would hurt to have a story mode? good you like groups, some people do, no one would change veteran mode , that's not the issue. But it's nice you like pugs or whatever, not a problem, but for those who don't then a change would be a benefit. Additionally they should make it clear before you start that you can not complete it as SOLO because . well for no good reason other than to waste time and cause great frustration when you finally fight thru to the boss to be butt plugged.
