The problem is that for many of us who just transferred or restarted playing is that we NEVER got to run any FP past the lvl 30 ones. Our servers were too dead to get groups, so now that we can get a group everyone wants to rush. .

this is just the mentality of people today, they want everything, and they want it now. People are growing up never being told NO, they just have time outs, and are catered to at home and school. Everyone is a winner, and is honored, and able to have the same things as everyone else and get an achievement for it. The old saying "life isn't fair, just deal with it" doesn't apply to the current generation, sadly.

im glad i saw this, I thought it was completely F2P now, not just trial. They should really re-word that.

Do you think when this goes free to play that more people will play? Will we have full servers again?

not sure what prime time is, 3-8pm?, they must think that everyone playing this game is a student or has a 8-5 job and no family. Most nights I can't play till 1030 or 11 and then maint is an hour later.... kinda pointless.

Not with SWTOR though. Its getting to the point when every time I try to play the game I can't. It doesn't matter what my days off are that week, there is always maintenance. ya it seems whatever my days off are. either tues/weds, or weds/thrus or thrus/fri. that there is stupid maint and i lose a whole night of playing!!!! ***. pick a time and stick with it. you already have the worst main times in all of mmo history at least just make it 1 night a week instead of 2 or 3.. FFS

we need a global chat channel, then you can really see who is on or get groups. Its sad that you have to sit in fleet to get groups for anything and yea those numbers are great! its usually less than 1/2 that on my server.

I really enjoyed the event, it was the first time I really felt like something larger was going on that was effecting everyone. I really liked the news reports and announcements, even if they were just on fleet. I wish you would have left the vendor around longer. Maybe do it like they do in Rift, where they have an event merchant that keeps all the old things on sale for people that mail the currency to their alts or just didn't log on in time to cash out their currency. (which is what happened to me)

wow, so many of these posts make me sad i too am bummed that the event just ended just like that. I'm sure I have loads of DNA on my chars, but I've not logged in yet. I missed most of the weekend, because there were like 3 other games with beta weekends, and it seems when it rains it pours. It must have been sweeps weekend for MMO's.... My point is though, that its a sad fact that modern MMO play requires visits to forums, blogs, DB sites (torhead, etc.) wikis, google searches et al just to 'play the game'. Sure I know this, because I've played loads of other MMos over the years, but for a new player there is no way they'd figure this all out. I even remarked to someone about this very fact regarding the event. How did the first person figure out the scavenger hunt part of the event?? I saw a blog post, and a video, but how on earth did that first person (dulfy?) figure that all out??... I had noticed some of the ship parts around when I was exploring, but there is no way I'd have figured out the buffs, etc.

I'd love a group finder!! I've had to skip heroics on probably 4 or 5 planets. I've also not done any of the flashpoints past essclees (sp) because I can't get a group! I think a group finder for OPS is a bit much, but for flashpoints or quests (heroics) I think its a wonderful idea! you might even offer a checkbox for same server or "all servers", and implement a different ruleset for the "all servers" choice, like you can only roll on gear for your specific class or armor type. Since that seems to be what people freak out about when they think about cross server grouping. (some person on a server I'll never see again is going to ninja my hunter lewts!!)

Thanks so much, I fall into the category of people that have many chars but not quite 50 yet. I appreciate that you are recognizing that there are different playstyles and paces.

Please don't encourage them to do anything that makes traveling around take any longer than it already does!!! do you really want to have to walk around fleet? then walk to hangar, walk to ship, then fly to orbital station, walk to exit, walk through spaceport, fly down to planet.. walk through another spaceport....... ack kill me now!!!!!! WE NEED MORE SPEEDER ACCESS IN MORE PLACES!!!! not less..
