I have not disabled anti-virus so I could at least try that. I have made sure about my drivers however and they are up to date. I have an HP Pavilion Windows 10 laptop. I even deleted BitRaider off my system as that was a common suggestion to fix the problem.

I am unsubbing. I have been sitting here for two weeks uninstalling and reinstalling the game, the same messages come up everytime that I've previously tried fixing, and that still doesn't work. I am beyond frustrated and saddened to say this. I have come to the realization that my laptop is no longer suitable for this game so I see no point in being a sub if I can't even play the damn game. I would take any and all advice at this time but I have tried everything to get the game to work.

If I close out the game while it is patching (although it stopped due to an apparent connection which I have), will that corrupt the game in any way?

I had to uninstall and reinstall the game today. While trying to install the game, I get a message that says installation requires administrative permission acknowledgement. Can someone help me out please? I'm getting super frustrated at this point.

After reading some previous comments from some previous threads, I am highly debating whether or not to skip the rest of the KoTFE and KoTET expansion altogether and picking up the story at Iokath. There are two reasons why I am considering this. 1. I know how the whole Zakuul expansion ends, I have watched all the chapters on YouTube myself, so yes I did spoil it for myself. 2. With the above point, I can't even get by Chapter 2 of KoTET at this point as my game freezes up and I'm pretty sure I've done everything I can to fix it. What are some thoughts on this? Should I do it at least with my main character just to experience once?

Hey everyone, I came back to the game during the quarantine and I'm trying to get my main through the KoTeT storyline. I get through all of Chapter 2 pretty much, but when I take the shuttle to Odessen to stop Saresh the game freezes and it did that before I took a break from the game. Any suggestions? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the game when it first happened.

Hey all, so I was playing with my merc going through the first chapter of KOTET. Of course, the game froze up, because that's what it likes to do. So I literally reinstalled the game last night, and going through the second chapter, the game once again decides to magically freeze up while I'm on Odessen. Any ideas? I really don't want to have to reinstall again.

Hey all, so the other day I posted about how I went to Odessen and in the middle of the cutscene the game would freeze up and I restarted about 5 times and now I'm just stuck with the conversation bubble above me and can't move at all. I did what the person who replied to me suggested and it didn't work. Should I just reinstall the game at this point? I even tried leaving via a FP but the game was laggy as hell (go figure).

I'm having an issue of the game freezing up during cutscenes as well, but it's on Odessen, not Ossus (haven't made it that far into the story)

Hey all, I currently have a merc character and am doing the KOTFE expansion. I first went to Odessen and was watching the cutscenes up until you see Theron. The game then froze up so I restarted a few times, and everytime the result was different. Now, when I try to play, I can't even get to the cutscenes and the conversation bubble appears above my character but everything else is frozen. Any suggestions?

Hey all, once again I am experiencing an issue with the game. After I play for about 15-30 minutes every time, my mouse craps out and usually a part of the screen will show the icon of the mouse for the game, but another part will show the regular mouse icon, making it impossible for me to play. Thoughts?
