  1. The Force Ghost rumor seems to be gaining more traction. It does make sense if you think about it, at this point in this story there are at least 4 extremely powerful characters(Anakin, Yoda, Kenobi, Qui-Gon) that can be summoned in the story via force ghost. And in Empire Strikes Back, Kenobi returning as a ghost was a vital part of the story. First appearing to Like in the snow, and then appearing on Dagobah to try to help Yoda convince Luke to complete his training. And then obviously in the ROTJ where Obi wan appears as a ghost and explains Vader s story. And at the end when the three of them appear. There was also rumor that Frank Oz was on set and a Yoda prop was spotted. I could totally see Rey going into the Tree of Whills, a place strong in the force, and seeing any of the ghost characters or all of them. I think it would be amazing if we had a Luke talking to Yoda or Kenobi scene though. As if he wasn't alone on the island at all, he had been learning and discovering with the old Jedi masters. I believe were coming up on the TLJ press screenings for reviews. So i believe we will see more actual leaks in the coming days so keep an eye out if you like or dont like spoilers.
  2. There's been rumor that Hayden was spot at Pinewood studios where they film allot of SW and he was the celebration which was rare. What if he force ghost talks to Kylo similar to Obi wan and Luke did in ESB. I also kinda hoping for Rey to be a Palpatine, I think it would make sense for him to have some kind of continuity in the ST because if you really think about it especially in the Prequels he practically became as vital to the story as the skywalkers.
  3. Honestly, I'll go against the grain and say I'm gonna trust Rian Johnson and the writers to make the story pretty different. This whole press tour and media tour has been uniquely different than any of the other Disney SW movies. They have been building anticipation and anticipation for Shock/Awe knowing what could happen if they missed their mark so obviously they have allot of confidence in TLJ. Literally every single interview with all of the actors or cast tease multiple shocks and twists. There are just 2 things I really hope for. 1. We get a Bada** Luke scene similar to Vader at end of Rogue One. In the Legends Canon at this point he was practically a Light Side Demigod. Obviously I don't thats gonna happen but I do think Luke should be clearly the most powerful character in the Sequel trilogy except for maybe Snoke. 2. No Dark Side Luke. Sorry, but not a fan of this theory thats been going around at all. My favorite line from pretty much all of SW and one of the most iconic lines to me is "Because I'm a Jedi, like my father before me" in ROTJ. So if he went dark it would go against everything I perceive about Luke...
  4. I said in the Original Post, you can make your list to however you prefer pretty much. I had Rebels and Clone Wars in my list, it's honestly more of a list of all watchable SW rather than just movies.
  5. What are everyone order of the movies from Favorite to least Favorite. The Clone Wars Show and Rebels can be included in your list. And everyone is entitled to their opinion, dont feel pressured to jump on any bandwagons. My list so far: Empire Strikes Back Return of the Jedi A New Hope Clone Wars Series (Filoni) Rogue One Revenge of the Sith The Force Awakens Rebels Phantom Menace Attack of the Clones Yeah my list Is not exactly the norm. I really thought the Clone Wars series was the perfect incarnation of SW staying true to the EU Legends, while also providing unique and epic storylines true to Star Wars. And I liked ROTJ over ANH, just because I think it's more epic and complete and a satisfying end to the original trilogy with Vaders Redemption. Plus the Vader and Luke scenes are some of my favorite scenes in all of SW.
  6. I wonder if they do anything cloning related in the new movies. Because in the EU legends the Sidious clone was a pretty big event. Though they werent critically well recieved cloning in general is a recurring theme in SW imo. This is really out there, but Rey being a female Skywalker clone of either Luke or Anakin would be pretty cool in my honest opinion, definitely a different unexpected take. And she looks the part at least and it would fit that she is a Skywalker but it would provide a twist in that she isn't exactly Luke's daughter. But totally unlikely.
  7. The only problem with the Rey Palpatine theory is it doesn't explain the connection to the Lightsaber. And obviously there is no known love interest of Palpatine. I do enjoy going on different sites and reading the various danmade theories. I've seen some pretty terrible ones that would probably make me walk out the theater and I have also seen some pretty epic ones that sorta make me wish happen. And there's the far out there theories. But really until the movie premieres somewhere first we won't know anything tbh and that's if your looking to spoil the movie before watching it. Also another interesting thought about Snoke is that I really don't think Snoke is his real name. Emperor Palpatine was Darth Sidious, Dooku was Darth Tyrannus, Anakin was renamed Vader, Ben Solo became Kylo Ren. Two names is a thing in Star Wars. And Snoke doesn't cut it in my opinion for a supposed Galaxy Conqueror. Itd be interesting if Luke Skywalker upon confrontation with Snoke calls him by his real name revealing Snokes identity. Kinda like Yoda did to Sidius in ep.3 even though we knew Sidious's name.
  8. Doubt he dies in the show tbh, maybe injured at the most. I could actually see the opposite happening in Rebels and he manages to wipe out the whole crew. It's very clear early on that the Filoni crew has allot of respect for the Thrawn character and the fact that they are working with Zahn himself. I just think it's unlikely he dies, and it'll kill one of the new Disney EUs biggest potential stars. Thrawn appeared in the New Canon in full force with the first novel imo, and I think he is here to stay for a good bit.
  9. Star Wars theory I think is too convinced on Rey Palpatine theory. Even though I for one actually like the idea, and it is certainly plausible, there is nothing to 100% at this stage. So i don't think we should throw our eggs in any basket theory wise. But it's not a bad theory. I like Rey being related to Palpatine because if you really think about it, in terms of the overall story of the saga Palpatine is just as key as the Skywalkers pretty much. The Prequels were his rise to power and we saw in ep.1 and ep.2 his time as a political and then obviously in Ep.3 when he took over the galaxy. And then in the Original Trilogy he is the literal Ruler of the galaxy and Vaders Master. He really comes off as sort of an evil deity in the EU too with crazy godlike feats. It's like in a figurative sense he is some sort of Dark Side Chosen One in my opinion. So I could certainly see them keeping his "name" alive through Rey.
  10. Lucas himself wanted the characters to have specific fighting styles in the Prequels to make them more unique I think. And then the EU pretty much gave it all backstory and canon. The KOTOR games also brought to light the lightsaber forms I think there was some Lore there. Count Dooku is probably the best example of a character with an iconic and unique fighting style with Makashi in the movies. Apparently Christopher Lee (RIP) was a duelist himself and good one at that. But that's pretty much how the magic of the EU works, it gives meaning to every little detail in the movies.
  11. Yes that was the trend for the last five years but I think the fact that AC returned to its singelplayer roots with the excellent Origins and the widespread love and success of The Witcher 3 and The Last of Us, recent singeayer games lately make me feel like the Singeplayer is making a comeback. Especially since EA has gotten destroyed PR wise this year and their stocks are decreasing everyday. 3 of there major games got destroyed for being rushed and filled with micros and DLCs this year. I would bet good money we won't see loot crates in future games. Mass Effect Andromeda Star Wars Battlefront 2 Need for Speed They gonna have change something up otherwise Disney will pull the plug on license. EA won't go anywhere because their sports games are always huge money makers every single year. But SW in games might not happen if Disney thinks it's too much after dealing with EA.
  12. I've heard variations of the same force consuming ability but I saw a rumor saying it had something to do with his facility and the black crystal ring. Maybe he's really the reason Kylo was able to defeat the other Jedi and it wasn't Kylo at all. I mean looking at TFA Kylo really seemed weak compared to the other Villains we have come across. I think in TLJ Kylo will be way stronger but I also believe were not gonna get the full picture on Snoke. I think we will just be fed a little more information, the main part of his overall swagger/hype right now is his mysteriousness. Their not gonna take that away in TLJ, they will probably answer a few questions and raise 10 more. Maybe Snoke reached out to the other Jedi the way he did to Kylo but instead killed them through the force.
  13. The first Thrawn book in the new Canon was epic. It felt like Zahn was excited to start from scratch with his most famous character. I'm really happy with whats happened to the character between on Rebels and the new Book. And apparently a Thrawn comic book is on its way within next few months. I also love that the new book will be Vader and Thrawn together as the main characters, literally my two favorite SW villains.
  14. I think things will get interesting after EA had such a massive PR storm from the backlash of the loot boxes and the constant comparison to games like The Witcher 3. As well as it seems Disney executives weren't happy with EA either after the PR they got for the whole loot boxes situation. They also seem to be facing legal trouble for the loot boxes with various countries at this point. Loot boxes loot boxes loot boxes loot boxes. I bet EA is probably looking into various singelplayer studios right about now and praying Disney doesn't pull the plug on the Star Wars License.
  15. Got a feeling at most we will only ever see him referenced in the TV shows. Disney seems to be pretty clear on transitioning from the Old SW to fresh new characters, ideas, and stories. Just thinking of Rebels and the Sequel Trilogy as examples.. I also think Revan story wouldn't translate to the movies, games have such a horrendous track record for movie adaptations.
