You could always play your Jedi Knight to the end of Act 1 to unlock your Legacy and then see what you prefer. If you're really enjoying your JK then by all means carry on and get as many Legacy points as you can. Otherwise, you could switch to a new Chiss char at that point, level towards 50 and you'll still be earning Legacy points on the way, so then it would just be which ever you hit first - level 50 or enough Legacy points

Unfortunately, no as it's a Windows shortcut rather than a SWTOR shortcut (same as CTRL+ALT+DEL). I've had a google for you but it doesn't look like it's one you can disable. There is an option to disable hotkeys, but that just disables the Windows key ones (Like Windows key + e to open windows explorer). Sorry!

I'm guessing you already know, but just in case - did you know you can push Spacebar as soon as the cutscene starts to skip it? I click on my ship's door and hit space pretty much straight away and only get about a second of the cutscene. If you already knew this, then ignore me!
