  1. Now that I have many characters, each time I have to click and search times to find my characters (alts). I would love a screen with small bands, so I can choose from say 25 characters. This would save me (and I think many more) from a lot of clicking. It would also be nice, if I could make them stick at a certain position. Or drag and drop like shortcuts on the desktop.
  2. I now logged in again, and it was fixed. Thank you
  3. Apparently, I need the new patch, but it's not there and it fails. I cannot play old patch, nor new patch "This application has encountered an unspecified error. Please patch again"
  4. In played the entire story with my Commando (Light and Republican mind) and with my Jedi Shadow (Dark). If you attack Senya and Arcan then suddenly Arcan decides to help his father, which story wise is rubbish. And also I didn't feel so impressed to go to Voss. If you keep alive after he attacked you time and again (ehm who does that?) you can do healing missions. Weird. Chosing between two companions is also weird. Choices matter! Then again, if you did the story once, the second time it feels as a chore, waiting for the interesting bits.
  5. As for a DUO spec-combo I highly recommend Jedi Shadow Kinetic Combat (Tank) for him and Scoundrel Ruffian (DPS) for her. My idea is: - you both can stealth; - he can tank; - she can heal; - shadow tank is considered bast tank; - scoundrel ruffian is pretty good dps; - she could switch to full healer in say Operations, Flashpoints, PvP whne you both group up; - ruffian can also do some minor heals; - both have lots of utility and tricks, so lots of fun; - both are easy to get into, but hard to master perfect. On the down side, Ruffian is highly DOT based... Of course, you can also go for Sith Assassin Darkness (tank) and Operative Lethality (for the empire) Also of course, he and she can swap, or you are brother/sister whatever. The above is just the basic idea of two specs working well together
  6. Well Powertech/Vanguard in all 3 specs are in a ****** place. Gunnery Commando DPS is easy and still pretty good. Commando does ranged damage and can protect well, whereas Vanguard basically cannot.
  7. Simply said "NOOOOOO!" It's a clear sign to my team mates in operations and flashpoints, I use reflection. So a 2nd tank (yes this happens) should not use his taunts. Of course, there are many more idiots then people who know this, but still. In PVP on the flip side, when I see a Sorc standing still and has a bubble around him/her I also know its pointless to attack, so this is the same thing. However, if you say you wanne get rid of all reflections from all classes, I'm at your side, it was a stupid idea.
  8. Below is for me as DPS or Tank: When I do flashpoints, whenever I can, and my health goes lower then 90% I will use my healing ability, if I have one, or some damage reductions as possible. When health goes down below 60% I surely get mad at any healer, and surely I will run to a kolto if I see one. I have seen way to often, I group up with a Sage (its always Sages), who was marked as a Healer, but actually only does DPS. Yeah surely, once the fight is over he or she heals me up as an excuse. I do out-of-combat healing on all characters (some people don't know this at level level 60 ***?), so thank you very much for healing me after the fight. I always start a new fight at 100%, if someone else starts a fight, while I'm not ready, well good luck, I don't care (in 95% this is irrelevant). So, I always wanne be super solid/defensive, getting in the best way I can, so I don't spend 40k or 2 times heroic2 for nothing. I don't trust healers, I don't trust tanks, I don't trust mechanics. Often I'm at 90% at end of fight where all my team mates are down, its also why I sometimes throw a heal at my team mates. Guess why.
  9. I see several people now entering unranked and ranked pvp. Since republic rarely wins, its pretty much useless to even try. So tthey enter the arena, hide in a corner, and do something else (watch youtube whatever). And its very understandable, I mean, the only way to get 248 gear is using ranked and unranked pvp. Now on occasion you might get lucky and get a free 248 with the crates, but you will never get a full set. So, the solution is to do pvp dayly. I would recommend everyone to do this. Of course, this would many unbalanced games, but who cares?
  10. Also in 2012 PvP was very bad. Plus it took a long time to level. On the good thing, then you could work towards your gear. Now you HAVE to do PvP to beat the random ********. And I remember I entered PvP for the first time with best-in-slot for PvE, only to get wrecked by players with full PvP gear. And then those same with PvP gear enter an Operation, and i voted to have them kicked. Frustrations, frustrations...
  11. No. That's exactly what I said. IT DOES NOT WORK! God damn it, listen! The only way to make back blast work (in Scrapper) is to be behind the target. That ability is just not implemented.
  12. Yes you read the ability, but it actually doesn't work as it says. I have done Blood Boiler both in PVE and PVP when I'm facing them, and I cannot use Backblast. So either its a bug, or they forgot to actually implement this.
  13. Thank you Bioware. The Scoundrel Healer was, is and will be by far the least played healer-spec in the game. It's a good thing, they didn't also nerf this spec.
  14. I'll stick to Annihilation then. Fury's changes don't seem that relevant for now
  15. At first glance it seems not all that bad. The initial damage goes up, the more important bleeding/poison damage goes down. So, for low-levels, say level 10-40, I would expect this spec will do a lot better. People saying Ruffian/Lethality is bad and quit at level 20, willl now think twice. Thanks! This spec needed that. I think the 10 energy on Sanguinary Shot will not be that big of a deal. So the spec is less for elitists, more friendly for low-levels, more friendly for those who do not play the spec perfect. Still of course there's a lot of "if you do X then Y will do Z" stuff. So still not trivial, which I like. Yes, its still learn-to-play. Now we wait for the Scrapper/Concealment-spec...
  16. I much prefer Concealment for low leveling. So low levels goes like this (up to level 41): Stealth, Backstab, Shiv (produce), Corrove Dart(dot), Laceration (consume), Laceration, Laceration. You can only do Laceration if you have a Tactical Advantage. Its like producing and consuming At later stage Laceration becomes Veiled Strike, but is in essence same. Now, based upon that theme you can add a stun with Debilitate, Kolto Probe (hot) to heal yourself, and other stuff. But the basic idea is to do straight from the start great damage. Backstab, dead. Debilitate, he cant do a thing, shiv, noxious knives, Laceration, dead. Laceration, laceration, dead. At level 20, sleep dart, make one guy go to sleep for one minute. At level 26 you get Cruppling Slice, which prevents them from moving (doesn 't work always), so this helps to get another backstab. But at level 42 Volatile Substance, this changes a bit. And of course at level 51 you get Exfiltrate (a roll) , which is amazing. Hope this gets you started, I haven't told everything, just some key aspects. Energy wise, Concealment can run into energy issues if the fight is tedious long; Lethality doesn't have that issue (that prob will change).
  17. Well if you wanne do gathering then a stealth class is very useful. So then it boils down to Shadow/Assassin or Scoundrel/Operative. The first one can also (currently) be the best tank (in my opinion), and the latter can also be a good healer. All can "sap" one mob, so you can make that one go to sleep for 1 minute, and so you can sneak and gather a lot, without fighting. The sap for shadow is "mind maze" and for assassin its "mind trap" scoundrel has "tranquilizer" and operative has "sleep dart" (all at level 20). But note the Operative and Scoundrel WILL get some changes in next patch 5.4 at 22 august in all specs.
  18. Bolster for PVP still makes you worse against a full 248 guy, especially a well coordinated team all with 248, you have no chance. So this means it doesn't matter that much for most people to 1) sit in the corner and do nothing 2) try to do something useful, only to get killed in 5 seconds. Pvp is not about yourself but a team effort, and if you have one fool, then we already know the outcome.
  19. My Gunnery Commando at 70-300 is just fine. Still super easy , whilst doing great damage. Kiting, heals, all fine.
  20. Its a n excellent idea. On Red Eclipse, Sith wins most games, and I think on Harbinger Republic wins most games. So this is no fun for those who always lose, but its also no for those who always win. Mixing would solve both issues. And besides, all level 51+ stuff is basically same for republic and empire, so yeah.
