  1. I only encountered the issue the one time, haven't seen it since.
  2. I encountered the same issue with the purple color display missing when I did nightmare TFB on Sunday evening, so before the 2.3 patch. All of my graphics settings were on the lowest option available except for Visible Character Limit which was set to Very High. I was able to click and enter fine, it was just the display that was missing.
  3. Well for one thing only the bountiful and rich missions can give you thermals, so it's a waste of time to run the other two. The bountiful mission will give you 2 on a crit, and the rich will give you 4. That's the best you can do unless you also run lockbox missions for discoveries.
  4. You just have to start Chapter 3 for most companions. I think there's a few that have one or two final dialogues after you finish Chapter 3, but most can be done at the start assuming you have enough affection.
  5. As a followup to this, the Codex entry for "Galactic History 88: The Unlikely Champion" does indeed appear to have been removed from Alderaan's section. However my Alderaan Codex is still showing 5/6 Datacrons, which means the Codex entry for "Galactic History 89: Capturing the Dread Masters" is still listed under Alderaan instead of Makeb. Also, I still don't have the actual Codex entries in question even though I have obtained both Makeb datacrons. My Achievement: Datacrons section still reads 67/69. Finally, Makeb doesn't even have a Codex entry in the Planet section to begin with. So while Alderaan has lost one its phantom datacrons, I have no idea if it was actually assigned to Makeb or not. So I'm not really sure what the point of this 'fix' was.
  6. The two Makeb datacrons do not currently award their associated codex entry at all. Never have. The fact that they're flagged under the Alderaan planet category instead of Makeb is moot since no one has the entries in the first place. The 67/69 figure refers to the main Achievements: Datacron codex category, 67 being the number of datacrons in the original game.
  7. Yes, take note that any spot that can spawn a color crystal node can also spawn a power crystal or artifact node instead. So when you're looking for nodes to harvest, you need to take all the archeology nodes in case they spawn as a color crystal next time.
  8. The ones that are literally called "Parts" are the ones in question.
  9. Hate to break it to you but Cybertech could already get MK-9 components from earpieces at a cost of 2/4/2, making it significantly better than what you quoted for Synthweaving or Artifice. I've been crafting earpieces by the boatload for weeks and making cheap, easy augment kits. This just means I won't need double the Turadium. Nice, but hardly earthshattering.
  10. Xenotech gear used to be a random drop from bosses in storymode Eternity Vault and Karagga's Palace, then later it was added to flashpoint bosses. Since 2.0, all those bosses drop Black Hole gear instead. You might be able to find it as an exceptionally rare random trash drop now, but that's about it. Also, I don't think you could ever craft Xenotech gear. In other words, you could run EV and KP a million times and hope you win the lottery, but that's about it.
  11. Yeah, that ending felt like something out of a daytime soap opera. "It wasn't me, it was my.... twin brother! And now I'll use my magic kill word!"
  12. Boo! I am feeling decidedly unachieved.
  13. From the Known Issues List: If players are in a group, the mission step "Defeat the Shroud's Replicator Droids" may not progress if Replicator Droids are defeated by a group member who is not currently on this mission. That could be problematic if you're the only one with the quest. Otherwise there shouldn't be a problem if you can coerce 3 friends into helping you. I did it the other day without the quest. I wasn't able to pick up the levers at the beginning, but otherwise everything was fine. I see no reason why it should be any different with three people who don't have it.
  14. I have been hit with the game-crashes-at-launch bug, so unless Bioware breaks with tradition and actually fixes a game breaking bug in a timely fashion Kalethin will not be online tonight. Joy. My air conditioner is also on the fritz, so it's been a banner day all around.
  15. It's just like the old quest that gave you Tionese comms when you hit 50. When you hit 55, it pops up on the same mission terminal you get Flashpoint quests from. All you do is walk over and click on the vendor. Unlike the old quest though it only gives you 20 Basic Commendations, which is not enough to buy anything let alone a full set.
  16. I told Mandalore to shove it because I had no interest in being a Klingon- I mean Mandalorian. Torian still spoke plenty of Mando`a to me and I do believe he tried to teach me at least some of the Mandalorian traditions, though it's been a year so I may be mistaken. To reiterate what others have said, becoming a Mandalorian or not really doesn't change anything in regard to the storyline. You still do all of the same things, it's just that when you're talking to people you may say slightly different things to them or they may tell you a little more background info or things of that nature. To the best of my knowledge you will not miss out on any events whatsoever. I'm pretty sure females can even romance Torian if you're not a Mandalorian, he'll just try to convert you a lot. As for affection, with the changes they made in 2.0 you won't get such large hits anymore, positive or negative. You'll still lose a lot of points with Skadge if you act honorably, but it shouldn't be possible to lose anywhere near 3k in one mission anymore. And besides, Skadge is a lump of poo who shouldn't be on my ship in the first place, so who cares what he thinks.
  17. General consensus on here is that this happens because Firebrand's health is lower and it's going into the next phase of the fight while Stormcaller is still on the current phase. Watch their health closer and make sure Stormcaller is the lower of the two (though not by much) and you should avoid this issue. Easiest way to do that is probably to have a ranged DPS on Firebrand start the fight by shooting Stormcaller for a bit.
  18. If someone declines the group finder invite, the people who accepted it get put into the front of the line, not the back. It tells you exactly that when it happens. If it takes longer than a minute or two for the next invite to pop up, it's probably because there's no one of the needed role queued up.
  19. Yes you can, I did on mine. Mandalore gets all pissy with you for a second and storms off, but that's about it.
  20. I thought you had 4 minutes, but either way Systems Overload is absolutely time based. I've seen it hit around 25% before when the group was doing very poorly.
  21. Do you guys do anything to avoid the slash AE or do your tanks just eat it? Our current strat involves kiting him in a wide circle as someone thinks the tank can avoid this AE by moving aside, but that frequently ends up killing a couple dps/healers when the tank kites poorly.
  22. This is the best advice for this fight. If the dps or I take much damage during the other phases, I almost always fall behind during the pipe spitting phase. Make sure your group is aware he does a frontal cone and the dot that spreads if people are too close. A lot of people seem to think if it's not an operation, they don't need to pay much attention to what the boss is doing cause we'll just heal them.
