  1. I agree with what some other commenters have said. Too many different currencies are a big part of the problem. The majority of the credits I make don't come from regular gameplay. They come from selling OEM and RPM crafting materials, which I only buy in the first place because I'm constantly maxed out on tech fragments I can't otherwise spend for anything useful. If those items were purchasable for credits instead, that would be 160 million credits removed from the game entirely instead of passed into my hands, and that's just one example. Jawa scrap is another. Take away jawa scrap, and make crafting materials purchasable for credits at an equivalent rate. Crafting materials are consumable and need to be replaced. There's a consistent credit sink for crafters that feels like a convenience instead of a punishment. Others have suggested making cartel decorations and dyes unlockable in collections for credits, similar to the current guild donation system. Make them personally bound, like other cartel unlocks, so that they can't be exploited for resale. Apply the GTN sale price cap and tax to player-to-player trades. Make it impossible for people to evade those limitations. I feel like there are a lot of other better options for tackling the problem of inflation that haven't been considered fully in favour of changes that are likely to significantly hurt the experience of new and casual players, and will ultimately do nothing to curb gold selling and exploitive prospecting.
  2. I experience the same issues with an Intel HD 630 integrated graphics card and "high" graphics settings. Enemies cannot be tab targeted, and become invisible when the camera is at certain angles or distances. I encounter this problem on all character classes and in all modes - story, veteran, and master. I've heard reports from many other players in flashpoint group finder groups consistently having the same problem.
  3. DR for tanks benefits both PvEers and PvPers. Roots benefit only PvPers. So no, it isn't the same thing. It is favouring the needs of one class of players over the needs of the other.
  4. I'm going to reiterate what some others have already said. Why are you removing damage reduction from tanks in favour of a root ability that is useless in pve? Why is the damage reduction of severing slash being passed instead to dps on what is, for them, primarily an offensive ability and which, if chosen, locks them out of force shroud, which is a far more desirable ability? Why are you strengthening the defenses of operatives - a self-healing class - when snipers have had all of their self-healing abilities and many of their defensives removed and/or locked out by mutually exclusive ability choices?
  5. This is an excellent idea, and should have been implemented a long time ago. Not only will it not hurt the economy of the game, but it will actually help combat the insane GTN inflation by providing a credit sink that actually removes credits from the system rather than shifting them into the hands of other players.
  6. I definitely agree. As someone who has low vision, the new UI is visually significantly more difficult to navigate. Text and icons are smaller, less defined, and harder to read. In particular, the new inventory window is a nightmare. The unnecessary blue grid outline is far too prominent, which does the exact opposite of visually distinguishing objects from each other. My inventory now just looks like one big incomprehensible block of colour to me, making it a lot harder for me to find specific items.
  7. I would love to see this happen. The outlaw set is my favourite in the game for an Imperial agent. It has such a distinctive look, which is refreshing in a game that unfortunately tends to recycle and recolour armour to the point that it can all start to look a little same-y at times. It's a great disappointment to me that the set can't be unlocked in collections - even more so now that it's no longer available for purchase on the cartel market. I really see no reason why a small adjustment couldn't be made to make the set available for purchase or unlock as empty shells. It would require so little effort.
