  2. Death Field can't be spammed, Chilling Scream can. What other "fire and forget" AOE dots are there?
  3. Right now Chilling Scream is probably overpowered in PVP. The 3 hardest hitting abilities do about 13k each. Yes, I understand they may do (much) more or less, I'm just going by the numbers on the interface: Shatter Impale Hew Chilling Scream can do 8200 damage (base combined with Utility). Two people hit is over 16k, three people is over 24k, etc. Having just two people hit by your Chilling Scream does more damage then your 3 hardest hitting abilities. Now with the upcoming 60% nerf to the utility, it will do 3400. You will need to hit 4 people to equal the damage of Shatter, Impale, or Hew. You will need to hit 3 people to equal the damage of Ravage (over 10k). Your second most basic attack, Vicious Slash, will do more damage then 2 people hit by your Chilling Scream. With the upcoming nerf, it seems vastly underpowered. Again, my whole premise is just based off the numerical damage on the interface. I do know they can do much less, or much more if they crit. Thoughts?
  4. Hey Hali, I have never played before 4.0, I'm not familiar with how the game goes about updating stats with major updates. If what you say is the case, that is unfortunate, as we are no longer increasing our above mentioned, but just trying to reclaim lost ground. I with I had taken a snapshot of crit and alacrity percentages before 5.0, then compared them.
  5. I don't know if 110% Accuracy is still the cap we are looking for. If it has been raised, or if new info has been posted elsewhere, the following post is irrelevant. However, 685 Accuracy Rating no longer reaches the previously required 110% Accuracy. I was swapping mods and enhancements to see how to get as close as possible to 110%. 177 is a 228 Initiative Enhancement 45 96 is an Accuracy Augment 45 177, 177, 177, 177 = 708 (109.71) 177, 177, 177, 177, 96 = 804 (110.68) 177, 177, 177, 96, 96 = 723 (109.86) 177, 177, 96, 96, 96, 96 = 738 (110.02) It makes you wonder if all other tertiary stats have been nerfed as well. If anyone has any new info regarding the new stats, please let us know, I couldn't find any as of now.

"So I do my series of Ops runs and construct a set of nice max-level gear with set bonus. What do I do now?" Do nothing. "Are you going to promise that you won't complain about having nothing to do if they do this and you have built your three sets of shared gear? " Not going to even indulge your assumption of possibly complaining in the future for "having nothing to do".
  7. A suggestion: Have a Legacy storage inventory were all our alts can outfit their gear (this includes implants, earpieces, and relics). They gear can be outfitted simultaneously with all your alts as well (wouldn't be taken out of legacy storage when equipped). This way, we could have 1 set for Tanks, DPS, and Healers (assuming you gear them all the same). I understand mains and offhands would be an exception, by default.
  8. Are the buffs supposed to be Legacy wide, or character specific? Also, is it the story you have to complete, or max the influence? Maybe it's changed? For my Smuggler, I max out Corso and Risha (neither a Melee Tank), so maybe you're right and the Buff is Legacy Wide? In terms of the Legacy on different servers: I had started an alt on Harbinger, registered the same Legacy name, then transferred my Smuggler (was a free one from a referral link I found online, can I post a Reddit link here?). The perks, and both completed story highlights transferred (Smuggler and Sith Warrior, even though I only transferred the Smuggler. This topic's timing is perfect. I just got Qyzen's influence to Level 50 (no buff appeared).   9. Sith Warrior is on Begeren, Smuggler is on Harbinger. They are on the same Legacy. I transferred the Smuggler from Begeren to Harbinger, the Sith Warrior was made on Begeren. Does this mean that my Sith Warrior actually has 1% less accuracy then listed since the Buff isn't displaying?
  10. Just a tip, If you want to get your companions influence up to 50. Get their influence up to 40 first . If their influence started at exactly 0, you will need 6088 of their favourite companion gifts to reach level 40, assuming your Legacy Of Altruism is a maxed to level 3. Max your Legacy Of Persuasion as well. Here will show you what each of your companion's favourite gifts are: http://tor-guide.com/raise-companion-influence-quickly/ The reason you want to get to level 40 is because the companion gifts start granting 166 influence (I believe) then taper off to 17. Once you hit level 40, those same gifts won't grant any more influence. You would then need to buy a $600 gift to get the same influence of 17, as opposed to the $200 gifts that you just bought. This is when you use your companion and in-game dialogue to raise the remaining 10 influence levels. You can also use common data crystals to buy gifts from this point on as well. The best one will grant 399 influence, you will have to experiment to see which one does so. Make sure it says the Influence gain is Large when you highlight each of the gifts, this will narrow it down.

And their influence was at level 50. Am I missing the 1% from my SIth Warrior? The reason I ask is the enemy has dodged my Impale a few times when my Accuracy was 110% (not rating, but number), but the bleeding effect took place. These were ranged enemies, so I don't think I was "dodging" their blaster bolts? Thanks again.
  12. Hi everyone. I understand that you need 110%+ to bypass Elite enemy defense so you don't miss attacks. My Accuracy number is 110.66%. However, highlighting over Accuracy Rating (745), it says my Melee and Force Accuracy is 9.66%. Do you go by the Accuracy number or Accuracy Rating? Thanks. P.S.   13. You know exactly what Lord meant when he said the abilities are slashed. You basically just listed all the important stats that are nerfed (in regards to killing enemies). Why should we not have the option to blaze through the world? Nobody has given a good answer as to why everyone should be forced to level sync and play that way you like it (slow, grinding, monotonous)? People like me (sane people) would rather one-shot-kill everything and get our Heroics over and done with. You want a challenge? Play HMs and Ops. Grinding is not a "challenge", it's just a tedious annoyance.
  14. It's amazing that proponents of mandatory level sync think you are an "entitled brat" for wanting to make things easier. Guess what, Heroics are NOT a challenge to begin with. They are just A LOT more time consuming with level sync. The whole point of Heroics is to farm crystals, crates, and credits. You wanna sync your World Bosses, fine. I understand the argument for that. But to purposefully make an already monotonous task take much longer is idiotic. Ever more so when you believe you should push your nonsense upon everyone else without the option to disable it. I'd like to hear the nonsense reason for syncing Solo Essseles/Black Talon when the whole point of that mission, is really, just to farm influence and alignment points. "No, I will foist my stupidity upon you, you're an entitled brat if you disagree" Options are always a good thing, you're a brat if you disagree.
