  1. Hysterical - two minutes after the last post it dropped from a Grade 6 lockbox
  2. I just ran a Lvl 50 Pub through the whole planet, killed all champion enemies and as many elite mobs as possible. There appear to be two large chests left on Makeb, hit those multiple times without any results. I read somewhere that once you are past the recommended level for Makeb (55), enemies will no longer have a chance to drop this. It seems like lockboxes and the chests are still leveled for Makeb so those present the best chance. So I've now camped two Imp characters by the chests and having companions run 8 treaure hunting lockbox missions (grades 6-9) constantly. Nothing yet (of course) but the items seem to be appropriately leveled. I would give up except I got the Quesh light datacron to drop the other day for a Pub alt (Lvl 40). Does anyone have any other suggestions for farming this dark datacron? The last GTN listing was almost 800m - seeming like a bargain at this point.
  3. Realize this is an old thread - but I pulled this on the Republic side at Lvl 40 from the large chest behind champion enemy Lord Rhexa.
  4. Thank you for clearing that up! It would still be nice if Bioware could address the Dark Datacron (Endurance) drop rate in a future patch.
  5. I've been trying for the decoration achievement "Master Exhibit: Dark Datacrons" for around 5 years and cannot locate the Dark Datacron (Endurance) on Makeb. I've taken ten characters (not level boosted) and played through the entire planet each time at Level 55 or below to make sure I was getting appropriate level gear drops. I also revisited Makeb with all of them as Lvl 70 & Lvl 75 - I read somewhere that the other dark and light datacrons still drop on other planets regardless of your level. I've completed all the Heroics many many items, looted all the large and small chests, beaten countless Elite mobs and Champion enemies. I've seen zero of these on the GTN over this time, and I've read several posts that say the drop rate was bugged when the credits were removed from Makeb chests to discourage farming. I haven't seen any posts after 2014 stating that this deco was still dropping. Also have submitted a bug report. I've also noticed The Observer and The Specialists heroics (which were reputed to have higher drop rates back in the day) are not always available on the mission terminal for certain characters.
  6. It would be good if there was one central terminal in each stronghold that would allow you to choose from all available arrival points. When one arrival point gets bugged/disappears, you cannot access it again to change it back. Currently experiencing this on the Dromund Kaas stronghold and already submitted a bug report.
  7. This flashpoint is still bugged. When stuck after defeating Troya Ajak I exited the flashpoint and re-entered. When it gets stuck again at the conversation prompt on the other side of the tether I was able to hit ESC to advance.
  8. Like almost everyone else I have not been able to complete this quest. Log off, change instance, quick travel, abandon and retry, change character - nothing works. I've submitted as a bug and as a ticket. But I'm curious, could someone who has been able to complete the mission please confirm if the "Black Box Recording" datapad is the actual final log? Or is it closer to the actual marker on the map and it is just not appearing? I find it annoying how sometimes the map markers are spot on, some are in the "general vicinity" and some are so far off it is borderline misleading. Some consistency would be nice. I have not seen any screenshots or recordings showing the mission being completed or the Black Box Recording datapad being clickable. As noted by others patch 6.0a does not resolve despite what the patch notes say.

  11. Response to my customer service ticket: "As mentioned in my in-game message, I understand your surprise when you figure it out that any of your characters was allowed to abandon the operation “Facing the machines of war”. I verified what’s happening and according to my verification, there is no issue. The only way to remove this operation from your mission logs is to complete it. As Customer Service can’t directly make change on the game mechanics (only developers can do that), I invite you to raise your feedback to the developers. The best way to do that and ask for a change from the developers (add the option to abandon this operation) is to post on the SW:TOR forum in the “Suggestion box” section and make it as a trending topic (I am pretty sure that you’re not the only one who wants a change on that). Here is the link where you can post this idea: http://www.swtor.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=349 I hope that developers will bring a change in a future update and again thank you for your help."

  17. Not sure if the back end maintenance on the 10th will address this - as no one has gotten back to me to confirm. I have run this successfully on four other characters (this is the first one that has bugged), and all of the prerequisite story mode flashpoints were completed prior, same as the other characters. Other things I have tried (to no avail): Ran another repair on the game Traveled to my ship to see if the mission could be re-launched from the console, or if I could somehow manually travel to the abandoned Imperial listening post Traveled to a random planet and exited a hangar in order to use the reset phase option from the portrait menu (it allowed me to do this but did not affect the mission being stuck) Traveled to the Alliance Staging Area, verified I could not interact with the Nathema flashpoint terminal or re-enter the conversation area where the mission is first discussed with Lana and Hylo Re-confirmed that abandon mission is still greyed out Tried launching from the mission summary instead of where it is "tracked" on the main screen Changed the mission difficulty from story to veteran (at portrait menu) and tried to launch (still hangs) Started the other flashpoints (Crisis and Traitor) in all difficulties, exited and reset all flashpoint instances from portrait menu, abandoned those flashpoints. Still cannot abandon Nathema and it still freezes when launched on any difficulty.
  18. I don't think there will be a patch on the 10th, just back end maintenance. Not sure if this will be addressed then as no one has gotten back to me to confirm. 19. Adding another voice to the choir... please fix this bug that is over a year old. Companions dismissed after every single elevator sequence in all Star Fortresses. Like others, I've also submitted this as a bug multiple times.
  20. Also never received the dialogue option on a character that romanced Lana. Does that mean this option is gone for good if you "missed it", or will they give you the ability later in the game with a patch?
  21. Cannot even launch the mission itself on one of my characters - load screen get 1/4-1/2 way and hangs. Eventually booted out to the character selection screen. I also tried lowering GFX settings and running the repair and it made no difference. Opened a customer service ticket yesterday and no one has replied back.
  22. This happened to one of my characters too, load screen get 1/4-1/2 way and hangs. Eventually booted out to the character selection screen. I also tried lowering GFX settings and running the repair and it made no difference. Opened a customer service ticket yesterday and no one has replied back.
  23. Agreed, you should be able to abandon any mission that is not tied to advancing the storyline. Opened a ticket and the rep said to post in the suggestion box - I did but don't have high hopes there.
  24. This Iokath Op is acquired automatically and not by choice. It takes up a mission slot, and the ability to abandon the mission is greyed out. Since this does not advance the story line, please allow it to be abandoned (similar to the Oricon Op with no solo mode).
  25. Since the 5.2.1 update, the heroic moment abilities will randomly appear (they can't be used until you actually trigger heroic moment). They disappear when you trigger heroic moment, and then there is a delay of several minutes before they reappear and you can use the abilities.
