  1. I'm telling you to do what Bioware tells you to do in the game rules, which you accepted once you created your account. If you didn't read it, that's on you No you didn't. You explained how a whole different idea can be used for stalking and harassing. The problem is you still couldn't figure by yourself the difference between the idea proposed in this topic and the idea you THINK it's proposed. Again, just read the post again, more carefully this time and you may finally see it. Original post was updated with more detailed info to make it easier to understand. More than that, only drawing and I really don't feel like doing it atm.
  2. Then that's a support problem, not with the idea of this topic. No, it doesn't. Every single "fault" any of you have pointed has absolutely nothing to do with the idea presented here. You simply keep mistaking one thing for another and still didn't understand what is being proposed. I'm not demanding that, Bioware is lol In that thing called game rules that apparently people fail to read. And anyway, it doesn't take you more than 5 mins to write a ticket. If 5 mins to you is equal to "preventing you from playing the game to write tickets instead" then I simply don't know what to say. No, I'm not. If you have understood the idea you would have figured out by now that it changes nothing for whoever wants to harass people. The idea you THINK this is about yes, would make it easier, but it's not the case. Try to read the topic description again, with patience. maybe you'll get the right idea this time. Or don't, whatever.
  3. You are using a very specific scenario (which is already forbidden by the game rules) to try to invalidate de idea. If a misconduct case is happening, you fight the person doing the wrong thing, not the entire system they're possibly using. It's like "Somebody is harassing me by whisper, so remove the whisper system entirely from the game." "Somebody is using the follow player feature to follow and annoy me, so remove the follow player feature from the game." "Somebody is using the quick travel to get to my position faster instead of having to walk, so remove the quick travel from the game." ________ Btw, I strongly suggest you open a ticket about this sick person harassing you.
  4. Good call. Thanks. Edited the title and added more details in the post description.
  5. 1 - If someone became your mortal enemy you can simply ignore their legacy. Problem solved with 1 click. 2 - If someone already know the name of one of your characters, they just need to login their other toons and do s simple command "/friend [name of your character]". You don't even need to be online. This doesn't make sense. Again, this change only provides a QoL improvement for the person friending. It has ZERO impact for the person being friended. Absolutely nothing that can't be already done currently.
  6. Yeah. The suggestion of the post is considering the current system where adding someone to your friend list is one-sided. You don't need the approval of the other person and they don't get you on their friend list too. Which tbh is an odd system. If we had the classic ask to be friends > get a permit system, things would be way easier. Indeed.
  7. Read the previous messages. It's not a "legacy friend" the way you're thinking.
  8. Example: I have 3 toons. Their names are Master, Blaster and Bulos. Master is my main toon. I'm playing with him right now. I went to do a nice flashpoint with a friend of mine. His character name is Bestia. I added this character of him to my friend list. Now Master has one character in his friend list, which is my friend's character Bestia. Next day, I decided to play with one of my alts, Blaster. My friend is playing again with his character Bestia, but since I don't have Bestia added in Blaster friend list, I can't see him online. With this wonderful feature, I open Blaster friend list window and choose the option to import my shared friend list and it automatically adds Bestia to Blaster's friend list, only because I had already added Bestia previously with my main character Master. Now Blaster has Bestia in his friend list too and now I can see Bestia is online and we go out to play another nice flashpoint together. Next day I decided to play with my third character, Bulos. Since it's a new character and his friend list is still empty, I go to the window and do the import thing. Now Bulos also has Bestia in hir friend list. But my friend decided today to play with one of his alts, named Brontes. Even tho I used the feature, I can't see her online because the only character of her I had added in my shared friend list was Bestia. I'd need to meet with Brontes and add her too. After that, I'd have Bestia and Brontes in my "shared friend list". Any other character of this friend of mine would still not be there, because I haven't added them. Got it? I can't, all of the blue, add her entire legacy into my friend list. It's not about that at all.
  9. Please don't mistake it for a "friend legacy" feature where you can automatically friend all characters in somebody's legacy. This could and would be used to abuse. The suggestion is not about that at all. Not even close.
  10. Finally someone got it. There's the thing. It's not a about legacy-friend. It's not a feature where I can automatically friend all the characters in YOUR account by friending one. That's why people are so mad when this subject is brought up. The idea is simply a "copy/paste" of a friend list I already have on one of my characters to other characters of mine. It doesn't change absolutely NOTHING to your account, your legacy, your gameplay or anybody else's. It's just an automatic copy/paste for my own and my own only, to save time/unnecessary annoyance, which quality of life should be about.
  11. What I see most people aren't understanding is it's not a "legacy friend", like the "legacy ignore". It's not about friending somebody and then you are automatically friends with all the other characters in their legacy. It's just having access to a friend list you already have on one of your characters. Someone have added your character to their friend list on their toon named John. This same person is now logged on their alt named Joseph. Joseph can't see you online because the character Joseph doesn't have you added to its friend list. Are you undetectable? No. The person just swap to John again and they see you online. There's no point. Again, it'snot about being able to friend somebody's whole legacy, it's just sharing with your other toons a list YOU ALREADY HAVE in one of them. The only thing this prevents is the annoyance of having to swap to a specific toon to see their friend list, which anybody can do anytime they want. It's just a convenience.
  12. ??? An example, you mean? > New toon > Press O (friend list window) > Little button at the bottom of the window: "Import friend list" > You want it? Click. > You don't want it? Don't click. Separated list for pubside and impside, like everything else in the game that's legacy but also faction specific 🤷‍♀️
  13. The workaround for the reason some people hate the idea is also very simple: make it optional. Whenever you create a new character, you have the option to "import your friend list". If you want this character to be a hermit, you just don't do it.
  14. So all the crying about it is: "I want to have my undetected alts" Simple workaround: make it optional. Whenever you create a new character, you have the option to "import your friend list". If you want this character to be a hermit, you just don't do it.

  16. Exactly. Since a number of armor designs are "replicated" for new armors, at least make a version of this helmet with the same design, but this time with the total area of it dyeable, not this permanent metal. Please consider it! It's the best helmet design in the game and you're ignoring it, while making lots of versions of other helmets that don't come even close as good as this one.
  17. Bump, cause I really wanna keep using the overlay map. But without these features, the experience has been pretty clunky.
  18. I really liked the new overlay map. The concept is very handy. It just misses a few little details that make using it a little bit annoying and, if fixed, would make it perfect. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1 - Being able to navigate through areas by clicking the door map icons, just like the old/windowed map. 2 - Showing aggroed enemies as red dots, just like the old/windowed map. 3 - Being able to toggle between the whole area map (world map) and the local area (as it is right now), so we can check mission objectives locations easily. Could be a little toggle button on the corner or even a new tool to add to the utility bar. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If those were possible, it'd make the playing experience so much better and fluid.
  19. We can use your logic for a lot of things already implemented. For example: To modify an item you could walk to a working bench, click it and select the item you wanna modify. But, instead, you can just ctrl+right click the item. To change your class spec you can walk to the changing spec NPC in fleet, but instead you can just open your character sheet and do it with one click. To get to your personal ship you could walk to your class hangar on fleet, click it, wait the loading screen, click the console, run to your ship and click the door. Instead, you can just open galaxy map and click the ship icon on bottom left. I coud go on and on and on... Those are things present in a game in a thing called "quality of life". Tweaks and shortcuts that make the experience more fluid and enjoyable. Intead of "figure it by yourself". P.S.: what "sage tele nerf" has to do with any of this, exactly? lol
  20. So we can't throw, delete, sell or decon by accident. It's such a simple tool and it's present in almost every other MMO. This would prevent a lot of "hey I deconned my weapon by accident" tickets
  21. So we know where the gear is, instead of having to log in and log out a lot of toons to find it. This would be a major quality of life improvement since now we can share armor sets between several characters via legacy.
  22. Please. Add a feature when you select a character in the character selection screen, it shows somewhere which crew skills that character has and at what level they are on that skill. Spare us from the hellish headache of logging in and logging out lots of characters trying to find which one has the crafting/gathering or mission skill we're looking for. This would be a major quality of life improvement.
  23. I've been hunting some achievements and in the flashpoints category there's something that troubles me a little. For the few flashpoints that are slightly different if you're playing it on Republic or Empire, you have 2 separated achievements for some bosses. "Kill Boss X 25 times" "Kill Boss Y 25 times" Beeing boss X available on the republic version only and boss Y available impside only. If the general achievemnt for the flashpoint completion is still 25 times, woudln't be logic to "merge" the achievements for when there is a different boss for each faccion? So it would be, instead: "Kill Boss X OR Boss Y 25 times" To match the 25 times completion of the flahpoint. An example: https://imgur.com/a/M7xdWFJ
