  1. Likewise - I completed "Missing Link" early and can now no longer complete Taris Bonus Series.
  2. This is one of those things you'll have to ignore. The SWTOR graphics team has demonstrated their ineptitude time and again since beta and that they are incapable of fixing graphical issues.
  3. Yea, this game has been worked on for six years (and they bought the engine for it). No matter how bad something is, there will always be apologists. Not that I'm saying SWTOR is bad, just still needs a massive amount of polish.
  4. Yea, I got burned too. I think most people felt they did, except the doll fetishists. Though, I did enjoy the bathroom reading book. Lesson learned: Don't spend extra money on vague promises with the expectation that the people in charge of these things have a shred of integrity.
  5. Nar Shaddaa was definitely the most disappointing for me. I expected it to be the most atmospheric, but once you leave the promenade it's like the entire moon was made in a single day with the same metallic floor/wall texture. And it stretches on forever.
  6. KEEP UP THE FIGHT Ask the developers in Q&A: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=267762
  7. Number 2 I think would be what would be considered the idealized "normal" male. He is actually quite cut. The trouble lies with a huge majority of armor models being texture swaps on the basic frame (especially leggings) that makes the character look like it's wearing tights. Heroines can pull off tights, heroes not so much (superman, etc. don't count).
  8. Is anyone looking at the graphical issue with Jedi Knight robes and their "bustle"?
  9. Might be legitimate if graphics programmers or artists had anything to do with PvP. PvP balance is tuned using a pre-existing toolset by completely separate people.
  10. How do people justify the comparison of switching Powertech<->Mercenary to Warrior<->Mage? Last I checked, mages and warriors don't have 60% of their abilities identically shared with each other. I mean, if you want to be against AC changes, that's fine. But don't use ridiculous arguments.
  11. I guess they should have added some more options in. Most people prefer dark eyebrows though, regardless of hair color.
  12. Apparently it's been an issue since early beta. Pretty sure the art team at this point have either given up due to things outside their control and they got shot down trying to get it corrected, or they are incompetent. Everyone I know in the art program at my university would be flipping a truck at this graphical debacle.
  13. Exactly. They can hire scores of moderators to implement a forum police state, but can't hire a single developer, artist, or programmer to comment on the issue, much less work on a fix? Stuff like this, in addition to a hundred or so other issues, is why they needn't anticipate my $30/month in the future (among hundreds of thousands of others).
  14. Equally silly is the fact that the Imperial Trooper social armor from CE is considered "Light Armor" despite having steel plates about 2 in thick.
  15. This. What were you thinking?
  16. It should be, but it would never be enforced. I turn off General Chat for this very reason, unless I need to spam for a heroic group.
  17. I don't care if it's to prevent clipping issues or to save Cambodian orphans. It looks stupid and any artist worth a damn shouldn't have accepted it with their name on it.
  18. BioWare, please stop ignoring this. Your "art" department's job descriptions/titles should be stripped of the word "art". Allowing stuff like this to go unfixed is a disgrace to visual artists everywhere.
  19. I've been bumping a thread here for a little bit. Unfortunately, it falls of the front in less than a minute due to trolling "dis game sux" topics.
