i have toons on both. satele shan: 260-280 star forge: 280-300 the difference in ping isnt noticeable at all imo. as for activity, harbinger (the most active of the servers) was merged into satele, so i find it doubtful that star forge is more active. its quite the opposite in my experience. i reckon you should create a new toon on each server to see for yourself. other than the obvious, the problem i have encountered with this 'once per legacy' thing is that i have now accidentally completed objectives on lesser played alts. the result is a few rarely-played toons with 10000cq each (with no hope of earning more), and toons i play the hell out of with less than 1000cq each (with no hope of earning more). in the end not a single toon will qualify for cq. i used to grind 100,000cq a week on average, but now... the lesson i learnt is to simply not play alts. diminishing rewards means less play time over all. the result for non-cq ppl is this is one less tank/healer in the queues.

so when does everyone get their 'founder' title?

maybe instead of an apac guild we could all join an apac channel? it would probably be easier to get ppl to join a channel than abandon their current guildies. fwiw, i plan to /cjoin APAC when i get back in game.

although i havent deleted them, the mara and guardian toons are the classes i never play. they sit at the end of the login list. i never even see them. i mostly favour sorc/sage and sin/shadow. inq/cons are the bees knees imo. 90% of my play time.

i use alts for crafting, so on my mains i use the three that are most useful in fp and the like; arch, scav, and slice.

i suspect they 'test' by watching how the top 5% of pvpers perform in the weeks immediately following the patch, with no consideration at all given to the remaining 95% of the playerbase.

and now that server reset has passed, there is no gf operation full stop.

i think id like pretty much the opposite; id like to buy mission terminals and the like for my stronghold so that i dont need to travel to fleet.

are the underpants that you can buy from the vendor in the cartel bazaar for 3 cartel certificates unlockable? the tooltip says 'locked in collections', suggesting that they are. but im not so sure that i trust that.

ive lost an entire legacy healer set and cxp bossts/boxes are disappearing at random. this needs to be fixed asap.

its possible that the people working on this arent even bw employees. another game i play (sto) once said as much. the server farm/network is managed/maintained by a completely different company. the same is likely true of swtor.

ive never played wow, and have no interest in starting now. i am all about sci-fi. really hate dungeons & dragons and that sort of thing. in fact, the closest i come to having any interest at all in 'swords & sorcery' is star wars. and thats only because of the sci-fi veneer.

my main is a 216-220 healer, and i hardly ever take her into pugs anymore. people seem to think my duty is to keep them fully healed, no matter how they are geared or what they are doing. they jump bosses without letting the tank pull, grab full aggro, stand in telegraph markers, refuse to stack, dont know how to interrupt, run out of range when their health gets low and then expect me to chase after them... then they get nasty when they die cos its 'my fault'

it needs to be slid as far down the wall as possible to work reliably.

in order of preference: coruscant, belsavis, corellia.

my first, main, and only fully complete toon is an imperial agent. i never needed a healer companion, so i stuck with the first companion given. as a result, i have far more time invested in kaliyo than any other comp in swtor. if i could only choose one companion to use on all toons, it would be kaliyo. now if i got to take any character in the swtor universe and make them my companion? beyond any doubt i would choose the pompous darth baras. that voice work is just too good to say no to!

i am able to create a new 60, put the outfit in the legacy bank, then delete the toon and create another. im not using a token though, so im not sure if it would work differently.

for whatever reason, when i logged in today none of my toons were selectable and i was back at 'starting world available' while bitraider elected to redownload the entire game again. so i took the opportunity to disable bitraider completely, and am now in the process of downloading. goodbye forever, bitraider!
