  1. As a frenchie, no I don't want them to get rid of the french (nor German) translations because just like all of you in english, I'm attached to the french VAs who does an outstanding work to give life to our characters. But I'm gonna speak objectively here, in the hypothetical scenario they stop supporting FR/DE translations, do you really think they will go back to fully voiced content but in english only? You know, when a company starts this kind of cost cutting measures, it rarely if ever go back to what it was before, especially when in this case they mentioned they started to do more KOTOR scenes because the SWTOR voiced scenes take more time and pressure to make while trying to sell us these scenes as something with more "conversational depth". So the most realistic scenario if they stop supporting the FR/DE translations is that they will just continue the mix between SWTOR and KOTOR cutscenes but in english only and no one would gain anything from this, german and french VAs would lose a paycheck and us players still wouldn't get a fully voiced experience no matter the language.
  2. If this is your "source" then you need to know he's not a source of anything but a professional yapper with clickbait vids, nothing more. And even if The Acolyte has no season 2, sets and other items inspired by the series won't be removed from the game.
  3. IIRC when they announced 7.0, Charles Boyd implied if not straight up said that the fact combat styles weren't tied to class/origin stories anymore would allow them to possibly add new CS in the future. But since he doesn't work there anymore, we'll never know if he had an idea of new CS already or not. But anyway yeah I agree this would be a breath of fresh air for the game if done right. Plus with some marketing (But that's on EA for this part I assume?) it could bring a good hype for current players while also bringing former and new players who are curious to see what's this new combat style(s) is all about.
  4. No? Again, ask some VAs their opinion about using AI voices as a whole, even for new and/or background NPCs with 2-3 lines and their answer will still be as negative. I mean right now VAs in France, with some of them working on SWTOR, have been very vocal to fight and have their voices protected against AI because it'd means they loose their job if we let this kind of things happening.
  5. Stop with that AI nonsense, like, seriously. Maybe ask some VAs their opinion about their voice being replicated without their consent and see how negative their answer is.
  6. I 100% understand you don't want the narrative team to be prisoner of their work, y'all are humans just like us players, so I can't blame you for that reason but I'm gonna be honest here, the KOTOR cutscenes just make me want to not continue the story everytimes there's one, it's just a chore to go through these cutscenes when you're used to hear your character talking for years and now you see them half-voiced half-mute within the same chapter, not to forget these horrendous black borders taking more than half the screen. You can include all the conversational depth and every existing branching choices you want but all these reasons mentioned above just makes it impossible to be invested in it and defeat the purpose of creating impactful and emotional moments. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong but, some of the old SWTOR's cutscenes from back in 2011 were very static, almost like the KOTOR's ones, compared to the ones we get nowaday. So, if the VAs budget isn't an issue as there's no clear mention of it being an issue in both of your statements, couldn't it be a good compromise to use these old staging, animations etc. while still getting voiced cutscenes? I'm sure some here would agree that it would be far less jarring to have SWTOR's 2011 style voiced cutscenes among the very complex ones made for defining moments than having non-voiced cutscenes with black borders sneaking among the amazing cutscenes made for important moments. And well, if it isn't possible, then I think I'd rather have less cutscenes but still fully voiced and that go straight to the point than the current jarring style of going back and forth between SWTOR's voiced/KOTOR's non-voiced scenes. Thank you for the clarifications tho.
  7. I think in this particular case it's because the newer armors change our character's body shape rather than being their OG body type reskinned with differents textures and 3D elements added over it. Female's body types have wider hips when they don't wear the trousers made for the set and somehow the "skirt" area of the chestpiece isn't large/stretched enough to welcome their original hips shape (and even with the trousers made for it there's a clipping issue on female BT2, at least) So basically if they don't fix this, you cannot use any older pants since they keep their original body proportions.
  8. Basically the female body type 2 hips clips through the "skirt" part when you take off trousers, we can see the underwear clipping here and there on the two first screenshots and even the pants made for the outfit clips a little bit on the back side right behind the leather part as we can see on the third screenshot. It's very unfortunate considering It's an amazing armor set so I really hope it gets fixed soon.
  9. Kinda a follow up to the post I made earlier in bug report, the very light blonde hair color we have from the CM turns to white completely when you put one of the CM hairstyles while customizable Lana has a proper light blonde hair that doesn't turn white. A few years ago, the team did put a proper black hair color due to the same issue where the base game black turns to a greenish tint with the CM hairstyles, so it would be very welcome to see the same being done for the light blonde color.
  10. All the new hairstyles released with 7.5 have the brighter hair color issue (an issue that was fixed for the 7.0 hairstyles.) The first two screenshots pictured here has the CM light/platinium blonde color and as we can see it appears completely white instead. The last two are with the base game black color and have that greenish color instead.
  11. If you take a look, Bioware's website hasn't been updated either as it still shows the game under their current portfolio and the Austin studio is still not considered to be shut down (the announcement clearly implied it would close after the transition), so while I'm not a professional regarding studios transitions, right now it's likely there's some behind the scene corporate stuff we're not aware of and they all will update their websites at a certain date (maybe when 7.3.1 release as it would be the first update under Broadsword banner?)
  12. The outfit preview window is broken since the update and constantly reset itself to the outfit you already wear when you try to preview a different outfit piece.
  13. If I remember correctly, the now former BW dev Chris Schmidt mentioned somewhere (I think it was on the swtor "official" discord runned by players?) they faced some technical hurdles with combat styles that prevented them to allow us the possibility to change our primary CS when 7.0 launched, so I could be wrong but I assume it has something to do with the reason why we can't "respec" our styles whenever we want.
  14. A Reforged Bastila Shan's set with her dual bladed lightsaber. The set we currently have has unfortunately badly aged so a new version with today's technologies and textures would be an amazing addition.
