  1. That's also why I play SWTOR. I really hope the devs don't neglect future story content. :/
  2. Yes, yes, YES!!! I've been wanting this for so long now. I think it'd be wonderful if we could have polyamorous characters! My Commander deserves to romance Theron and Lana, lol. I've wanted to make a forum post about this for a while now too. I'm glad you did.
  3. Thanks for this post, Charles! I love hearing more about the story! I admit, I am worried about 6.2 and what kind of craziness will ensue but I will do my best to stay positive. Some of the best Star Wars moments are crazy, after all. It'll be bittersweet to see an end to KOTET. About the next story beat in 6.1, will there be any interactions with Theron and/or Lana? Or just Vector and Elara? I hope we get more interactions with all of the companions but especially the characters we've romanced. Companion interactions and romance have been, unfortunately, lacking. Also, will we see Jonas Balkar again? How will the story in 6.1 and 6.2 affect those that decided to stay independent with their Alliance? I understand if you can't answer any of these questions. I'm still very grateful for the update you gave us.
  4. Thank you so much for the update, Keith! We really appreciate it! I have a question regarding Game Update 6.1. Earlier this month over on the Dev Tracker, Eric Musco mentioned that 6.1 would include the "next story beat" that is supposed to be about as long as Hearts and Minds. In this update of yours, however, I see no mention of said "story beat". Is that still coming in 6.1? I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the story. I hope you give it as much love and attention as the rest of the game and don't neglect it since there are many players, myself included, who play SWTOR for the story instead of focusing on PVP, and crafting, and etc. Thanks again!
  5. +1 to this! And let those of us who have already completed Onslaught (the autocompletion/autochoice thing happens when you start Jedi Under Siege) also choose!
  6. Yes, I second this!! I've had the Lokin, M1-4X, Qyzen, and several other Alliance/Companion alerts for years and I haven't done them because either a) I don't enjoy PVP or b) I don't want to hunt for items/beasts to raise companion influence. It'd be fantastic if I could just choose which missions I want to autocomplete so I can move on to other ones.
  7. Despite being very interesting planets, I despise Voss and Belsavis. They make me miss Taris and Tatooine, which I'm also not a big fan of. Hoth sucks, lol. There's too much of nothing and I get very tired of the same pieces of score that plays while you're on the planet. I guess I also don't like the lonely feeling the planet gives me. Corellia is cool but with it being the last planet in the "vanilla" storyline I get a bit tired and impatient and just can't wait for the ending. Edit: I just realized the title says "planet stories", not just "planets". Well... I'd probably enjoy the story more on some of the planets I mentioned above if I enjoyed the planets themselves lol.
  8. I support this idea! We definitely need it!
  9. Yes, please fix the shaggy hairstyle, Bioware!
  10. Lol I'm so glad you asked this. I don't know why but I felt too embarrassed to.
  11. I think a Senya romance would be great to have!
  12. I love ALL of these ideas! Especially the weekly companion dates, companion missions and cartel companions. I'd love for Jonas Balkar to be a cartel companion if they're not going to use him more in the main story.
  13. I'm very late to this thread but I give this the biggest +1, especially for Jonas being a companion.
  14. Agreed! I'd love a Jonas Balkar romance option too. At the very least, I'd love to just interact and flirt with him more.
  15. Agreed! We need a wedding scene!
  16. I agree completely! The amount of companions we have doesn't need to increase. They just need some love and attention and some desperately need to be fleshed out more and given some development.
  17. I think it would be cool if there was a way for us to view all of the light and/or dark choices we've had our characters make, starting all the way back to the original storylines for the classes. The reason I thought of this is that I'm the kind of player that likes to create fleshed-out personalities and backstories for my characters. Unfortunately, I dropped the ball on that with most of my toons. I've also taken long breaks from SWTOR here and there since I started playing back in 2015. Those things combined have resulted in me not remembering the personalities and backstories I had begun to create for my toons. It would be very helpful for me to be able to look back on the choices I've made to help (re)build my character's traits and such. It'd also be cool if, along with being able to look back at the choices we've made, there was a short paragraph or maybe just three or four words that describe what our character is just purely based on our choices. Like, if you play as a Sith Warrior that makes predominately dark sided choices but maybe treats fellow Sith/Imperials and others with a bit more kindness and respect than most Sith, you'd have a description like: "A merciless foe on the battlefield, *character name* is a prime example of pure, Dark Side power. Their rage is juxtaposed by unusual civility and courtesy towards their fellow Imperials and even towards some of the civilians they come into contact with on their travels." Or just something to kind of give an overview of your character. It'd be generated based on every single dark/light side choice and every dialogue option you've made (if that's possible). I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this.
  18. Just read this. It was really good!!! I hope to see more of these in the future, especially about my spy boys Theron and Jonas.
  19. Yes, that is more accurate than just "grey". "Pragmatic" is probably the best way to describe what being a "Grey Jedi" is like/should be.
  20. ^At 0:42, Ahsoka uses Force Choke, which is normally viewed as a "dark side" power, on a Trandoshan. Instead of killing the Trandoshan, however, she used the "dark side" to merely immobilize it. She doesn't use the dark side often, (I'll admit, I thought she used it a bit more than she actually does. I confused her outwardly showing her emotions and sometimes her anger for using the dark side. How Jedi of me.) but when she does, she still uses it for good. This is why the Dark Side doesn't necessarily mean "evil" and why you can be a good person and a "Grey Jedi" all while using both sides of the Force. I mean, hell, Ahsoka was using Force Choke before abandoning the Jedi Order. In Legends (and in the current canon?) Mace Windu frequently tapped into the dark side and even created the lightsaber form Vaapad, which had you using powerful emotions like anger in battle but not letting it consume you (like the "dark side" form Juyo, which is what Vaapad is based on). I guess you could also call Mace Windu a bit of a "Grey Jedi" if we're only defining "Grey Jedi" by the powers you use (I personally think it goes a bit deeper than just powers).
  21. Actually, the Force in balance means equal light and equal dark. The voice of Kanan Jarrus himself, Freddie Prinze Jr., described it best when he said that if there is too much of the dark side in the galaxy, the Force will make sure to bring in more light (either through a person or someone/thing else) to balance things out and vice versa. The Force was balanced when the Father, Daughter, and the Son were alive. The Force was balanced when Anakin was able to tame the Light/Daughter and the Dark/Son at the same time. It became out of balance when the Son became power-hungry and the Daughter died. When the Son and Father eventually passed, the Force was still out of balance. There needs to be both light AND dark (yin and yang) for there to be balance. So yes, being a "Grey Jedi" is technically balanced. Too much light like the Jedi or too much dark like the Sith is unbalanced and both mentally and physically unhealthy. Not only do you need both but everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from, is born with both the light and dark side within them. Everyone is born with Force. Everyone is technically "grey" by default. It is your choices that define the "side" that you're on. Also, being "grey" doesn't mean giving up morals. You can use the Dark Side to do good things and you can use the Light Side to do bad. The Force itself is ultimately a neutral entity (i.e. the Father). Side note: Revan WAS "mega unstable" at a certain time. Then he became stable and a hero if we're looking at KOTOR. That being said, Ahsoka is the best example of a "grey Jedi". She used powers that were considered light and dark, didn't ignore her emotions, and didn't hunger for total control and power, all while fighting for the greater good, even after the Jedi/Republic turned on her. She is the epitome of a "grey Jedi", more so than Qui-Gon Jinn and Revan. And she wasn't "mega unstable" either and never abandoned her morals.
  22. I wonder what the devs have in store for this character. He keeps popping up every now and then to assist the Commander but why? Does he have ulterior motives? If so, what are they? Will he betray the Commander? Will he play a bigger part in the story in upcoming expansions? What do you all think will happen with the character?
