  1. This is happening to me as well.
  2. But this doesn't "solve" anything. Bioware needs to stop making rewards such as these usable only in personal strongholds. It's nonsensical!
  3. I hate it that close quarters has been removed. Ugh! It's one feature that always made the sentinel more interesting to play for me. Please bring it back!
  4. Well my in-game ticket was never responded to, but I figured out the issue. I have my SWTOR settings folder that's originally in the APPDATA folder on my Dropbox, and I have a symlink pointing to it at the original location. This is so I can use the same settings on my desktop and gaming laptop (which I use when I'm away from home). I do this for a lot of games, and never had an issue. Been playing SWTOR for several years now without any issue like this. Well, it seems that SWTOR was unable to create the "Keybindings" folder along that path, although it never has trouble creating *files* there when I've created new GUI settings in the past. In any event, when I deleted my symlink to the folder and restarted the game, it of course created a new folder along that path. With that new local folder there it was able to create its "Keybindings" folder and save my settings. Then I just moved that folder to its corresponding location on my Dropbox and recreated the symlink, and now it's working the way it should have in the first place. So for anyone else who might have this issue, just manually create a folder along the SWTOR settings path (C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings) named "Keybindings" (where your "GUIProfiles" folder is), and that should fix the problem. It doesn't really make sense why it was an issue in the first place, but there you go.
  5. 14 hours later - no response to my ticket. Ugh, Bioware. Seriousy - ugh times a billion!
  6. Thanks for the info. Yeah that is exactly what I'm doing, but it is not working at all - even after restarting the game. I have opened a ticket in game.
  7. Save them how? Did you read my initial post detailing how I have tried to do that, and none of the buttons are responding? Exactly how is this supposed to work? For me, none of the buttons are working at all while every other aspect of the same seems to be functioning normally. This makes no sense.
  8. I'm trying to import my keybindings to the new level 60 I created. So I go to one of my previously existing characters, open up preferences, and go to the "keybinding import/export" tab. Everything that I click on does nothing. First of all, there are absolutely no freaking instructions on how to use the feature at all, but it appears to be easy to figure out. However, unfortunately, none of the buttons on the window seem to do anything. We have a big rectangle labeled "key presets", where I suppose all your saved files should show up. Beneath that is a box I discovered I can type in, and at the end of that box is a button that kind of looks like an old 3.5 floppy disk. So I type the word "keys" in that box and click the disk button, but nothing happens. So I try clicking "apply". Nothing. I click "OK" and the window closes. I go back in and there's nothing in the "key presets" window. The word "keys" is still in the box where I typed it. I log into another character, and the same thing is happening there. How in the holy F is this feature supposed to work?!
  9. Sorry to res this thread, but YES please fix the fading issue with the banner or let us turn it off ourselves. This is so annoying!
  10. Just want to add that I am seeing all the above as well. The UI showing that 0 items are craftable when you in fact that all the necessary mats, until you actually initiate the crafting anyway, is especially annoying.
  11. I second this, but I want to take it a step further. I want the game to have an interface that will show me an accounting of the credits that each character in my legacy has, with a grand total for the entire legacy displayed as well. It would also be great if it would track the source of my income, as well as on what I spend the credits. Basically, the functionality of the "Audior" WoW mod is what I'd like to see. Thanks!
  12. Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I totally agree with this idea. Right now the RE system is frustrating, not to mention less than zero fun. Indeed - it is anti-fun.
  13. I wish there was a "like" button to press here. This is great news indeed.
  14. The cool downs worked fine for me during beta, and the initial launch of the game. Then when they were changed prior to this patch, I wasn't a fan of that but I learned how to deal with it. With this one I don't have any problem with it at all. I definitely don't have a problem with the flashing, although I feel for those who do. It seems clear to me what is on cool down and what is not. I also think it's a matter of after playing for awhile, I kind of get used to the general length of the cool downs of each ability I use frequently, and just occasionally refer to the UI for confirmation of that. UI customization is desperately needed in this game, regardless. I also wish they would allow us to pick which style of cool downs to use, as I don't really want it to change yet again. It works just fine for me as is.
