  1. One cutsene that will always remain my favorite is the opening scene of Jedi Consular's class story on Tython. It is simply beautiful to see te shuttle flying to Tython, and an image of Jedi training padawans in the ways of the Force. Other noteworthy cutsenes that I adore are the opening of the Forged Alliances story arc; meeting Elara Dorne on Taris for the first time; Kaliyo introducing herself to Baron Cortess (that always cracks me up). There are many others but these spring to mind first.
  2. The only enemy I ever remember one-shotting with one (powerful) attack are weak and standard ones, even now during the more casual-friendly player era. But I suppose it depends from the class you play too? And maybe of how good player you are too? Sith Juggernaut's Impale is one that comes to mind as an attack that can one shot weak and standard enemies with a single stroke. Strong and elite, let alone champion level enemies require more effort from the player's part to down them unless you wish to be mowed down by them.
  3. You can get her original appearance (or at least close one to it), by removing the customization she has on her character sheet. Add her armor from SOR and she looks like the original Lana.
  4. Sith: probably Count Dooku or Darth Traya. Dooku for being a masterful fencer and a charismatic leader. Christopher Lee's portrayal of the man is the savior of episode II. Traya, I find her generally very interesting and a unique case amongst the Sith. Jedi: Hmm, probably Satele. While she is not much of a mother, I can't help but admire her conviction to the Republic and the Jedi Order.
  5. Thank you for this. I am watching this right now and interview with Kari Wahlgren is so uplifting, she´s amazing. Also, she should get the pink lightsaber she wants.
  6. I've grown to enjoy certain parts of it, namely Copero with the Chiss politics and Nathema Conspiracy for unveiling everything. I find myself detesting Iokath, however, due to the overall story there. I am indifferent towards Umbara.
  7. Good finds, I had forgotten them. And they tie so nicely into the wider picture of certain class story.
  8. I am curious: how has Disney/Lucasfilm shown disrespect to the fans of EU/Legends? And how are they not respecting the EU/Legends? The way I see it, making characters like Thrawn to fit into the wider context of their own extended universe is highly appreciated and especially respectful and recognizing the talents of those who created these stories, like Timothy Zahn in this case.
  9. The Star Wars aspect of the game is probably the biggest reason what keeps me playing. But, the stories and the characters are another large part of it. The eight individual class stories that allows you to immerse yourself into the character you're playing with an awesome cast of companions and other characters, only for their story to continue in the expansions, where other characters gain even more limelight. Plus, the fully voice-acted game is just great. There aren't many other MMORPGs that do this. Simply put, the story and characters bring me back all the time.
  10. Quite a few: Elara, Jorgan, Felix, Nadia, Tharan, Vette, Quinn, Andronikus, Torian, Gault, Blizz, Vector, Dr. Lokin, Kaliyo, Theron, Lana, Arcann, Senya and Tau Idair.
  11. Personally, Rebels is my favorite out of the shows I´ve seen. I enjoy the journney of the Ghost´s crew immensely, along with all the interactions they have with each others. I also love how it returns characters from TCW, expanding their characters and arcs (especially now that TCW has ended). And it has Thrawn. As Thrawn-fan it superficially makes the Rebels better for me than TCW. Now, TCW is good, with superior characterization of the established characters in the Prequels, especially the Clones to whom you just attach over the course of the series. And season 7 was excellent. Resistance is meh, Kaz wasn´t that good of a character. I found characters like Captain Doza and Agent Tierny to be far more interesting than him. Still, the show had few good moments.
  12. It´s been sometime since I played through Trooper´s story but
  13. My own favorite romances, in no particular order: Elara Dorne (I love how her romance shows a more vulnerable person, someone who wants to be understood and accepted as who she is.) Vector Hyllus (He´s so sweet and caring of the Agent, and I´ve always found it interesting to listen him talking about his longing for his nest). Felix Iresso (He´s caring, protective and accepts the Consular as who she is.) Vette (Sweet, smart and good ol´ quirky Vette who is a moral compass to the Warrior). Torian Cadera (Currently doing his romance after a long time. He´s certainly the most handsome of the male companions in my opinion. I can´t quite put my finger on it, but there´s something about him, maybe its the Mandalorian stuff?) Lana Beniko and Theron Shan (Both are such wonderful characters who go on with our character no matter how the tight the situation is. With their romances, I´ve liked very much how the two open up with the PC and show their more vulnerable side to them).
  14. I like both Tau and Major Anri. But I find myself enjoying Tau´s character more, particularly when she goes through her tragic memories on Ossus, trying to come to terms with who she is, and later during The Onslaught, when she struggles with passing on what she has learned to Arn.
  15. My favorite voice actors are Athena Karkanis (female JC), Brian Bloom (male Trooper), Mark Bazeley (male SW) and Jo Wyatt (female Agent). Now overall, all the actors do a splendid work in their voice acting, but there are few that I dislike. Euan Morton (male SI), Nolan North (male JC), Natasha Little (female SW) and Grey DeLisle (female BH).
  16. You shouldn´t feel ashamed for liking something just because someone says "You´re not a fan since you like something".. I´ve personally enjoyed almost everything new in Star Wars under Disney, be it films, tv-series or books. The Last Jedi is my favorite Star Wars film (we´ll see if The Rise of Skywalker tops that), Rebels was an amazing series and the new books we´ve been getting have been very, very good imo, especially with ones written by Timothy Zahn and Claudia Gray (Christie Golden´s Inferno Squad has been by far the most sub-par novel I´ve read but that´s personal preference). I also enjoy Legends very much, it was one of things that fueled my interest for Star Wars when I was younger, and still is an influence for my love to Star Wars.
  17. Personally, I´ve enjoyed the small references we´ve gotten with the game, like the Gatalentan tea. It´s not exactly ground-breaking, by that logic you could say Lucasfilm did wrong in adding Malachor to Rebels or so forth.
  18. To quote Tremel "He is of mixed blood." which, at least to me, indicates that he war born from an union of a human and a near-human/ alien (it isn´t specified). It could also be due Vemrin coming from Balmorra which is a world conquered by the Empire, rather than being an integral part of the Empire like Dromund Fels, Ziost etc.
  19. The treatment of Force-sensitive Chiss differs vastly in Canon from Legends. While in Canon they are not shunned because of their abilities, in Legends the worst thing that can happen to a Force-senstive Chiss is execution, if they are found using their abilities. Or they can be exiled from their family as a less harsh option. The mildest thing that a Force-sensitive Chiss can do to prevent their Force powers from being discovered is through medication or surgeries to try keep it hidden.
  20. I know I'm late with this as it was published yesterday but here it is. Anyhow, I'm stoked for this season. Season 1 had a very interesting ending so it will be interesting to see how things will develop and bridge the gap between the The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. This trailer had also some very interesting parts and also in particular with the strange alien culture (a sort of cult-like? Seen from 1.42 to 1.47.) and what looked like some manner of Sith or World Between Worlds relic. But what do you think?
  21. I feel that they would fit in one way -and on the other way they wouldn't. My gripe is specifically with point 3 about Aloysius Kallig. Considering that he's a fairly known Sith Lord, one could assume that there would be inscriptions about his appearances that have survived, detailing how he looked. It would also mean that the Chiss would be known more widely in the Sith Empire, instead of being an entirely new species that they encounter during their expansion to Unknown Regions.
  22. It was interesting read, can´t wait to see how Onderon will be during the expansion. I also wonder if we might see some neat KoTOR 2 references?
