  1. Augments dont even work in pvp right now same for crystals. bolster is capped to 316 gear which makes any gear higher worst than using 316 gear. A mix of old 306 with 326 is weirdly the BiS gear for pvp right now. Sadly there are no communication at all about this from the devs. And in current PTS patch bolster seem to be set to 326 gear but augments and crystal still dont work at all in there.
  2. What about you in BW make your suggestions and then people can discuss and present their suggestions??? I suggest you contact guilds/players with more experience in pve and/or pvp, present them with your suggestions, listen too what their opinions are then present it back on foruns Or else you will get full threads with nonsence and just missleading suggestions from players that imo lack the knowledge to make suggestions in this regards. Just as you can see in this thread already. First they are completlely off topic, then they call squishy to a class that at least have 1 spec that is the less squishy in pve and pvp but problably they never saw a combat log or played with or against the class/spec.

  4. Hey its 2018..almost 2019. NO ONE CARES! Words from the best pvp dps player i ever saw in the game, he was known for playing Marauder. " if you get good in regs you will be good in SR if you are good in Regs and SR you will be good in TR, just take your time to adapt to different game modes, fundamentally all game modes are the same, its just pvp" he told me this when i started to do pvp. What i found out during this time, is that usually the best people i saw playing regs are the same people that are the best playing solo ranked and the best people playing team ranked. Tho i know people who just dont like regs, they just dont like that pvp game mode that kills dont matter as much,or where they feels that thres not as much competition. tho when they play it , they might not go click the thingy or sap the guy, but they play well. They tend to not like huttball tho lol..tho imagine they like solo ranked that its basically a surviving contest and they dont like to get the ball, advice to everyone that never played solo ranked...get some huttballs and survive or help the guy with the ball to survive..you might get better in solo ranked. Then theres also what i call the mongos tho they are everywhere..usually they just dont talk whenever you try to have a conversation in solo ranked or in regs..or when they talk they only say ****.... this is almost everyone in this game. As for premades i never saw any problem to play against premades or in premades. tbh in regs i think i had more fun playing solo against premades...but regs back in the day were a place were PUGs could beat premades and average Dps players did 3k+ dps...and average healers did 6k+ hps...and at least in my server had a good mix of tryharding in regs and good dps/heal/tank farming. Tbh most people played objectives in regs while doing decent dps/hps and so on. Never though regs would become the **** show it is this days, but Sr its a **** show as well...TR might be safer to play since you can choose the people you play with, and since with this matfarming incentive its ALIVE some people OK at it feel entitled to call it the "ultimate game" mode, in the past 1/2 teams would farm everyone trying it and.....the entitled people, would call it irrelevant i guess. i didnt play it in the past because i dont use a mic or mostly because im trash lol but from friends who did..they always had the same problem..finding people willing to play TR..because after a dozen losses the same people that now advocate this ultimate game mode and maybe even have nice ratings, just stoped playing it. Tho this was a great change so people play TR, imo. This game was and is full of snowflakes that always think their opinion its what matter and nothing else, and that they should play the game whatever they feel like...i myself always though the game should be played to Win no matter what. its fun to win but its also fun to loose if you try to win. As for premades and since last time i checked this is still an MMO, in my opinion regs should have more premades! not less! since from years of experience and years of seing this game degradating, one of the biggest reasons of regs being the **** show they are now is because of the lack of guilds and interaction between players and also the lack of players that leads to the lack of premades as well, lack of premades its worst for solo or new players than a lot of premades in the game.

First every Spec works for everything imo, but Fury in Tyrans and Revan and maybe a couple more can be painfull to say the least, every other boss fury works ok but with the obvious problems associated with obliterate. Pvp fury its great for dealing damage due to some class abilities coupled with some spec abilities. Like root breaker on a very short cooldown that is also a 10m leap thats its also a 1s root, an ability thats slows targets until a 5% slow and that fits perfectly with your burst and ofc a short cd recurrent 6s cc imunity that its very hard to check for oponents. That coupled with very high sustained damage a braindead short rotation, since apart from 1 ability, all of other rotational abilities can potentialy do 15k or more hits. But all mara specs are strong, carnage have more burst and anni ofc have better aoe damage. Pve and only checking current last Nim bosses and current gear. Council, Fury works fine depending what you are doing but reaches phase might be better with with other classes also anni will do better parse in burn. Brontes, Fury will do better in Burn imo. TfB, Fury will do better imo.. Kephess, its a bit irrelevant but from challenges imo fury will do better imo. Styrak, Fury its better. For the new Operation for obvious reasons Anni seems better in every boss tbh. With that said, all 3 specs work for every boss and they do just fine..like if you want to play only 1 spec you can make it work for every boss in Nim without much effort. Note, Fury doesnt do so well when you dont have armor debuff class in your group...lets say you have to choose from having armor debuff or playing fury..in that case its better to play carnage just for that, if in that case you choose to play fury, fury will do same sustained single target damage as carnage or even less and anni will do more, so seems optimal in that case to play carnage since you will also benefit more your group members. As for fury rotational problems, ofc theres an optimal rotation but fury doesnt really have one tbh..thats also what makes Fury a good sustained damage class in pvp. You can do your rotation optimal as you should but if it breaks you can just hit whatever and as long as the procs are there basically keeping to reduce cooldown of major abilities and make sure you use raging burst before furious and built stacks a same rate class does always the same sustained damage or very close to optimal sustained damage. Its basically what the experts say......a brainded class. As for fluff or aoe bosses anni will do better..but heh in current Nim operation every other melle dot spec potentially can do more than anni in that case. Also just for parsing warriors, carnage before the rework BW made to the spec did basicaly the same damage in dummys that fury does now...tho Carnage for many reasons that i will not explain was an OP spec, current Fury as many said before, its not an OP spec for pve, but its good overall. But eh current Pve balance is pretty much irrelevant imo, maybe will be relevant when the Gods MM will be live, after that from the current knowlodge i have, and its not much tbh, seems clear which classes and specs will be more Optimal. Maybe that would be a good Thread to make, ask people that are good players and that are playing on PTS. Instead of this idiotic and recurrent threads.

Well 1st: Remove top BiS gear able to be crafted and selled, let people craft 252 gear with a reasonable amount of materials. 2nd: Since you want us to grind again for gear: remove unassemble components, call it other thing..like ossus components or whatever, reward people that have unassemble components to trade those for ossus components in like a 50/1 ratio. 3rd: Keep the same vendors and had 258 gear to them with the same number of components that is needed now to buy 248 or since you want us to grind more..increase it a bit. like instead of 800~ make it 1000~. 4th: Award people that does Gods MM with direct gear..like every boss should drop 1 piece of gear. Maybe had a special vendor where each boss Drop lets call it a Master shard crystal. and a vendor where they can trade that crystal..make 5 different crystals...like Tyth drops yellow crystal and with that you can buy relics...Sisters drop a blue crystal and with that you can buy ears and implats and so on... Izax red crystal and you can buy offhand/mainhand. 5th: Stop rewarding people for loosing in pvp..specially ranked pvp! if weekly lets say its 100 points..loose will give you 1 point win will give 10! maybe this is too much but you get the point. Also since theres a new gear tier,OBVIOUSLY, you need to end the current season right now..then ofc make a pre season so people can gear up again. 6th: Had ossus related content to award ossus componets..like weekly something, will give X components. 7th: Let conquest reward components. i dont really know what conquest is but heh if some people like it just reward them with something usefull. 8th: Would be cool if you had a mods and enhancements vendor..make it like if 1 piece of gear is 1000 componets..1 mod should be like 700 or so. so it still have more value to get a full gear piece but if people want to buy just 1 mod or 1 enhancement they can still get it.
  8. You shouldnt really listen to merovekek...if only he is the best example of why this game is in this state, the bad decisions and lack of moderation that BW does. Mero is a known wintrader and cheater in the game, tho mero still for some reason have his main account with the 100% achivs and things like Top 3 tittles that he wintrade and cheated. And yes even BW knows this since he was banned (several?) times. Tho for some reason he still keeps his main account with the achivs and stuff like golds and top 3 tittles. Also im not like acusing him of anything...even Mero will tell you this. The person above this post its also at the same level as mero btw... , known wintrader/cheater/exploiter of the game..also BW also knows this but yet he keeps his main account.

So what you are saying is that the grind to craft gear is so high thats will be impossible to sell it?and its easyer to do the huge grind that would be doing the weekly mission for MWS, intsead of doing MM Gods? Genuine questions. Also, in your opinion why in first place would BW do another grind for gear when they could just tune the operation in MM for the current gear? And why for the first time in the game they are making BiS craftable able to be sold???You say its crazy expensive to craft the gear and thats true, but you are assuming the ability people to craft that. I know people who had or still have 40B credits or people that have 2000 ranked mats. This is Genuine question, im not attacking you in any way. Look, before, you couldnt get top gear from the Gtn, you had to do the content in the game to have it or you could buy Nim runs from people and they would gear you up, and thats ok because its been selled between players, it was or is something that the community itself does by themselves without the BW interference. Now BW will give you the ability to get the gear directly from their in game market, and the easyest, fastest way to get in game currency its to convert stuff you can buy in their in game Cash Shop or ofc buy currency in "shady" websites. Doesnt matter if its expensive or how hard it is to sell that crafted gear, thats irrelevant. Theres only 2 types of players that need that gear, the master mode Gods players and ofc the Pvp players that no matter what pvp they do they want and need the gear for obvious reasons xD. BW created a problem with this gearing system they have now. Anyway no matter what, BiS gear in any game should only be obtainable by playing the Game Modes that reward you the best gear, no matter what game modes they are, can be FPs, operations, pvp, gsf whatever. Never be able to be bought from their in game market, and its irrelevant you saying its to hard or to expensive to do so. Gearing in an MMORPG its the first porpuse of the game thats why should never be tight to currency, no matter its game currency or real currency, because in game currency as long you can convert it to real currency its just currency, and you can convert swtor credits into real money or money into swtor credits.
  10. Allowing BiS gear to be selled in any game market it feels very wrong, even more in a MMORPG ... It goes to close to that realm that EA was very criticised in other games.... just saying.....

Nothing they ever done since i play made the game better imho, but giving perks (with this guild thingys) for individual stats a player can use inside any group content must be one of their most stupid decisions ever made, sure will be in some top 10 dumbest things they ever did. They do like to do some random **** often, that no one with a brain understands but... heh. Well with that said, i have to break it for you bby but everything is a competition, and giving random stats like 5% crit behind a guild perk to someone, its not, and they did this many many times, understanding the community and the player base they have in their barely alive game. By player base in this case i mean the player base that could do some use to those 5% or whatever extra stats they want to give in guild perks.
  12. This only shows that my Level 24 Lana Bonito its a better healer than both of you..not that theres anything overtunned in this heroics. Also my level 24 Lana Bonito as dps can kill every sith lord alone besides the last relic one because his bar its to big for her( you only have to press 2 buttons one to get her in combat and one to get her out off combat to avoid that very small aoe they do) . Confirmed, Companions are better than the Players. Please remove Players and ad more Companions to the game BW.
  13. On top of that: Massive Lag everywhere, reg wzs with 10v8 and 9v7, ranked with 4v5, unable to click nodes in reg wzs, taking 30s to enter or to get out of ranked and regs. Unable to open Cartel Market (this might get your attention).

    Now this is a Thread that should have 100 PAGES. Dsync went from a thing that happen rarely at start of 5.0 or even before to constant dsync this days. People used to dsync sometimes using a "speed buff" ability for like for less than a 1s..this days people can completely disappear from your screen for 4/5s or even more, so trixxie i would say dsync had an increase of 300%+ xd. Tbh i dont get why people still play swtor with such a game breaking bug..guess we do really like this game..no one in their right mind would pay to play pvp in a game with such a great game breaking bug.This as been reported since the start of 5.0 and they just dont do anything about it at all. The worst thing that can happen in any game imo is you not being able to hit or see the thing you want to hit LOL. I cant remember anything worst than that. Actually this dont happen only in pvp, it happens everywhere, bosses and players dsync in Operations/Fps a solo play as well. Oh and trixxie why do you have this delusional thoughs, "I really hope this new patch is going to address this"? when did they ever said they going to try to fix Dsync?? the only thing they said in a interview was that they acknowledged dsync its a thing lol. They will not fix it just because they cant fix it. So they also dont ever talk about it, again, such bug would be enough to shut down any game. At this point we should ask for our money back xd. PS: but eh keep this tread going this issue is the nº1 problem with swtor this days imo,(related to pvp).

In pve: Look that thing about people not playing carnage in Nims its wrong..theres lots of people that play it in Nims and they do just fine..they simple not OP anymore, but its still a good class. And before people reply with parses...when 5.0 came out and after some gear grind..i would say a half mix of 236/240/ and few 242 carnage was perfectly fine for Nims, actually was still a top class due to bugs.I remember with that gear i used to parse something like 9.4/9.5k and still had dps enough for me and still could spare some for my team mates..and im not the greatest mara in the game AT ALL. Also Fury is not that OP in Pve..a lot of places carnage is still on pair or better. The class does as good as old carnage did in parsing, but that parsing doesnt translate to real Bosses the same way carnage did. Current carnage its more than ok for any pve stuff, so stop complaining that needs buffs like if the class is impossible to use in Nims..if only everything needs nerfs to damage/healing and "mitigation" for Pve. Tbh i know that people who usually complain about some spec is bad in pve are one spec players that got some nerf to their spec and their epeen got a bit smaller, not really players that look at pve as a team game and actually care what other people that main/play other classes/spec perform in the game. Tbh this goes for pve and pvp. In pvp: From all melle spec its still one of the strongest specs in game...the STACK STUFF and the simplification of the class aka (proc to vicious lasting longer) was a pvp BUFF to carnage.. Carnage with Stacks its better than carnage without stacks. Carnage still have great burst in pvp...and now that burst its also reliable. If they had change carnage to a 4 system stacks (beserk) 3 system stacks (without beserk), so basically same burst as before and same sustain, the spec would be an old PT in steroides..and would most likely made carnage the strongest class in pvp by far. So calm down because the spec its just fine.. PS: My favourite spec in game was old Carnage marauder,in pvp and pve.. and i am a Mara main, and in my opinion mara needs nerfs..more nerfs mostly to defensives/mobility..since damage its just fine as it is for pvp. Tho not only Maras needs nerf to dcds, almost every class should be nerf dcd wise for pvp and for pve as well, OH and dont let me start with the ******* 300 roots and slows im not going in there. Just for the sake of having fun and the game be actually engaging. Also i read someone proposed a 10% heal to Annihilation Crits. I dont mean to offend you my friend..but thats the dumbest thing i have ever read in a marauder Thread..and thats hard to achiv since we have the Resident Grim posting here all the time. anyway, peace o/

  17. Acid changes seems good to me. Huttball changes seems to me the most dumbest thing that ever happen to pvp since sorc/sages could use Bubble Pop in other friendly players. Want people to pass the ball? dont want operatives to roll from top to the line?(actually theres other classes that can do this), make some sort of debuff that makes players with the ball slower like an increasing slow debuff, or some kind of increase damage taken debuff.Tho if people can not stop an operative, a mara or any other spec in Huttball in games without Tanks/heals or without 2,3 healers in same team..thats a problem of the players not the game, but i though you were adressing this already. I wonder how it will be an Huttball without healers and tanks xd. 0-0 (boring...) no one wins lol. If hinder means the same thing to you than it does to me im pretty sure people dont want to be ELECTRO NETTED when playing the specific objective for those WZs. No one likes to be netted, its just not fun.. lol. Also, will this mean Predation will be by far the most OP move in Huttball???after fire/acid pulls ofc. Suggestion: Make a guide on "WHATS RESOLVE" and make that guide pop in every wz until people reach like Valor 50..that might help in some of this issues people seem to have.
  18. Also you said my number about dcd are wrong, im sorry for that i just assumed people would use utility points in the proper places depending on what they are doing. I love the passionate way you talk about Mara/sent class, i really do mate. But you have to undestand that maras need a small nerf to their defensives. I dont agree to remove RA..but i do agree to SMALL NERFS to defensives..and all those that i mention before imo should have a small nerf.. All those SMALL nerfs i proposed are small nerf that will have imo a positive impact in the game. Like for example: RA/obfuscate (45s with utility) in a 5min arena: you can use it 6 times to obfuscate lets say a Sniper if the cooldown was 1min you can only do it 4 times..that an improvement IMO. Same with Force Camo and so on... And dont worrie even with those small nerfs i proposed All mara spec will still be the best Melle class XD..im not a traitor of the MARA CLUB mate. BUT THEY DO NEED A NERF. Just so you can understand: the other day i did a whole game in TR without utilitys( i was a bit drunk and all game felt weird and only saw i was without utilitys after the game ended but eh i was drunk)...and a fury mara even without utility in that particular game and imo..its still stronger than a PT an Operative a Sin or a Jugg. (btw we won) and i still did good dps and was still able to take the pressure out of me when needed. This was only one example. But you have to understand That Marauder class is overpowered compared to the other classes, all of the mara specs are OP compared to other melle classes, Fury more than the others but annihilation and carnage as well. It isnt even hard to see! just pick any other class and queue for some reg matchs...you will see very fast why are marauders at this point OP. If i remember right you love/ or use to love to play Carnage...i did love to play carnage as well...and mate i do understand marauders very well( I HOPE ) and at some point you migh even have read a guide or something like that and eh maybe it had bit of my imput in there. Good, we agree so far" The only target that should switch(more like alt+f4 or pop something) is the one that is obfuscated...in a situation that lets says 4v4...and all 4 are hitting 1 marauder and one of the four gets obfuscated and OHHH GOD RA...if the other 3 guys swap target when that target is the one who is being pressure...you are dammmm crazy..just hit the *********** marauder ok! because he will need more than RA to survice that. I rather avoid hitting them if they have like adrenal+cloack up than actually avoid them because of RA , this is start going to the realm of every time someone pop any defensive SWAP TARGET lol. Also as i said i think you talk about RA in duels...(against Sin´s) Lets see this situation: mara have no breaker and have all is dcds, a sin have breaker/and is in stealth and all is dcds..This is a fair fight so calm down your ******* even if you are butthurt because som scrub maras were mean to you. 2nd: "Good cooldown design" and then you had the DCD of your class.( i do like how it works tbh) should anyone swap target when you use it???xd and Why is that cooldown have a better design than any other in game??? is it because ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME?? LOL Also is Force speed a good dcd design?? and is Low Slash a good ability design?? 3rd: "RA needs to dissapear completely" So you think removing a DCD from a class its good direction too "balance"??? monkaS Not long ago Sorc/sage had a BIG change to their dcd´s because of bugged set bonus..and they were all the sundently kind of broken...so i dont think remove good dcd´s or give good dcd to class is the way to balance classes. Imo Pvp overall its more balanced now than it was before 5.6..the only stupid thing they did (and this is big) was removing stun DR for some classes. That made Sins worst than they should be imo..(they were the defenition of a balanced class imo) tho even then people might argue that with the abiity to use guard they were very very good in SR in dps and heal games..or lets go crazy even in TANK games..sins guarding tanks LOL its sad but its true. (im not gonna talk about PTs because poor Pts) I do think maras are OP compared to other classes/spec in pvp... The direction of balance pvp should never go with "remove this!" "give them that!"..you should start with what you have now and then do very small changes, because History show us that is the best way, lets take an example from mercs in 5.0..they gave them a lot of crazy stuff and they broke them...and in 5.6 they change a little bit their dcds and everyone can feel they are way more balanced even if they still very strong( classes are allowed to be strong even if someone doesnt like that particular class or spec) I think RA its OP and i think many other stuff as Marauder its OP...i proposed some changes to marauder tho i dont think that you read it... Also i feel you talk way to much about Marauder but in relation to your Sin, maybe you should talk about Sorcs or PTs or Juggs...so because of that i have to classify you as a Butthurt. Ok i also have to say this to you...Sin rotation its the dumbest easyest thing in the game...its lightnning sorc and then sin..(sorry macgeiller :hug: but its true) so refer to maras (even fury) with more respect LOL. Apart from this, everything i said before its fair and true.( i think ) I will post again my proposed changes to marauder so you can read it: I would say let RA stays as it is, with the 75% utility point, instead of a 45s cd make it 1min or 1:15s at worst.Do not change it.Because it is used by all mara specs as a CC imunity/defensive(tho i get stunned all the time..and i have to say its triggering). I would say nerf a bit predation...like 40% and 70% with utility(maybe even less with utility. 60%?) I would rework Undying..i think it should go from a 99% dr to something like 90%. or something like 75% flat and 99% with utility..(in the same tier or maybe in a tier you had to choose from good undying or saberward cc immunity/heals). I hate dumb maras using undying at -5% HP its triggers me..they shoul die for that imo. I would increase FORCE CAMO cd..from 45s to 1min. Choose 3 from this 4 nerfs so i can send a mail to MUSCO. About Fury: CC immunity with rotation its just wrong...remove it. That 10% defense in rotation its not needed OMG i became wayofthewarrior Someone please save me!!!! Just kidding fellow marauder.

Also not long ago the guy that is the Best Marauder in the Game (at least in pvp) rekt an Operative 1v1 and that operative won 2 duels to 1 if not the best pvp Operative in SR and another one against the overall one of the best pvper in the game if not the Best. (the operative didnt start in stealth), he coudnt do that in previous tournments in previous patchs..and a Mara beating a Great Operative 1v1 even if they dont start in stealth its almost impossible( or it was impossible xd). If you dont know, Operatives are the best 1v1 class in the game.
