  1. This mat requirements are utter joke, nobody is going to craft it, only some whales who are willing to make Chinese gold farmers rich will buy the mats and craft them. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it. In my opinion true mat grinding for high end gear should involve every game content with varıous difficulties, even the rotational events. As an example: mat from rotational event(gree, bounty, corona etc) mat from master chapter solo. mat from random drops of planet mobs with low chance. mats from PVE weekly's mats from hm and nim ops(balanced drop rates with respect to difficulty) mats from mm fp's mats from regular pvp low chance, ranked pvp guarantied* chance. tons of solid resource and legendary embers + prev gen. augment etc etc + ____________________ = New augment Thats what I would call incentive recipe, allows player to do what they want with various difficulties. Gives people reason to do different game contents. Furthermore players who aren't capable of doing nim ops or ranked pvp, should have access to this, although albeit with lower chance as the difficulty drops. That would make hardcore grinder farmers and hardcore endgame players happy at the same time. Given the requirements are still high in terms of time, would also give you time to slack on making new content while we are busy on grinding.

If thats a joke its not a funny one, who came up with this? what were you thinking guys? you know people who are on the level of nim farm or high elo ranked pvp doesnt play with only 1 toon right? by the time you augment your mains patch 8.0 would come.. Whats the intention here?, bump up the Chinese gold seller businesses? give a reasonable grind with guarantied drops make it challenging but not imposible. ranked reward? never even go there buddy, nobody doing ranked because of toxicity, this wont make a difference for revitalisation, as long as you give slap n the wrist for the existing toxic kiddos
  3. its not impossible, pretty easy even comparing to some kotet chapters on mm. Maybe you should ask for help on someone to carry you and you complain sorc doesnt have dcd, it has perfectly good dcd's and DR utilities, perfect fit for mm chapter solo
  4. i like it a lot. finally an event that doesn't involve kill 20 x forces, click there, activate console rinse and repeat. except from minor bugs on cut scenes, its fun. achievements are also fun. some people are hard to please no matter what
  5. dps check isnt an issue, problem is damage taken. EC kephess doing 200k on a tank is not a skill more of an rng.
  6. I dont understand this wierd "git gut nabs" mentality. People who are in the game for long time cleared old nims in farm status knowing the mechanics as if running hammer station saying "yay its better now ". How do you think people who just started progression be able to react on this jump? many who did clear the timed and survive past are struggling now, morale is so low that people thinking of moving on. Be real no-one will stay that long to re-progress on old content who they did before, spending months to readjust. New teams will not be formed with new players entirely. If you think otherwise you are delusional, thinking everyone is same as in your bubble. At the moment imo, problem is the damage taken. Successful clear relies on rng a lot and perfect class distribution in the team. Removal of vet stacks is easy hotfix of bw without necessary readjustments. it is ridiculous and kills the endgame. Quite bad business decision from BW where they need to keep people after they ended their casual life. VM too easy to give sense of achievement and Nims are a brick wall for skilled but not %0.1 players for its ridiculous adjustments and for finding a group willing to progress. As someone said before, remember people have a life, a job, responsibilities. Why not allowing people to enjoy old nims as a reachable goal?
  7. I have noticed this issue with my deception sin. Weapon crits are very close to force/internal crits on scaled where on 75 they are quite far apart. i parse well with deception reaching 23k and never below 22, but on scaled i parse much much higher with lightning, even tho i cant use max apm due to fps drops. this scaling issue is frustrating, and i dont even wanna talk about pyro and fluffed numbers on it
  8. I have noticed damage scaling in scaled content such as ops, doesn't work properly. White damage* (ranged or melee weapon damage) is not scaled as yellow*( force tech etc). Classes which rely on white damage produces parses significantly less than others. for example deception sin does 23k on dummy barely does 11k on ops, while lightning sorcs easlly push 13-14k without reaching their ideal apm. An average sorc can outperform perfect sin easily.. Is this a known issue? Is this intended? i believe this is unfair as %90 of PVE is scaled down
  9. Show me your 23k+ 10m dummy parse so we know its not crit outlier and you are not a keyboard warrior. Good dps is the one that knows when to use rebounders, when to pop dcd's, how to not get damage by able to follow mechanics on time. Only then your dps matters.
  10. The reason you are getting kicked is you probably die immediately in first 10 seconds. Before starting ranked you need to have lot of practice on regular, know each class and abilities etc. I know that black crystal is temping you to queue but swtor ranked community doesn't allow crystal farmers. best of luck
  11. KOTFE mm is absolutely solo-able without much efford, there are some challenging parts but still quite doable and you feel a sense of achievement. KOTET on the other has ridiculous chapters. Ones with walker phase can make you lose your sanity. Chapter 8 for instance took me all day, once you think you done it all, there is quite nice flying end boss waiting for you! İ did all solo past 6.0 so its doable. My recommendation is bring a buddy if you dont like extreme challenge.
  12. I dont think if I am alone in this. I cant find a goal or reason to motivate me to play. I will explain this in detail in following sections: Gearing Gearing although most people complain its too much rng, its too easy and yet sometimes its not. While gearing a dps with vendor gear requires almost no effort. However, to obtain sets like emergency power we are gambling on kai (300k frags still couldn't get) and this requires no skill but pure luck. Dont tell me dxun high chance, its a lie. -Therefore it doesn't motivate me to grind hence no point on running anything. Events Events are ancient as their rewards. No point for doing it unless you are a new player, even then it takes 1 to 2 event to get what you want and it becomes pointless again. Crafting Dont even get me started with market monopoly and farming bots. Additionally the recent conquest changes made the conquest pointless since mats worth a penny now. Operations what is the point of operations now? I dont see any reward associated with its time demand. Better spam TC than run SnV. Concerning HM+ aside from once time achivos and some initial fun it doesn't address general players. its very difficult to find progression group as there are not many raiders left even then there is no gain or reward on running hm+. Maybe we need the commendation system back as in past. Keeping this rng system and adding commendations on harder content such as hm operations and some* master FP's and put good rewards and sets that can be obtained with this commendations such as emergency power and such. With this we dont measure our luck but can actually do some content to get something that we know we can get! And please do a reward system that scales with difficulty and time demand!
  13. Returned player Looking for a progression group on republic side as a dps(m or r). I have experience with hm's and some nims. Parsing 22 to 23k on 6.5m dummy. I am also with a healer who would like to join if healer is needed as well.
  14. I totally agree on it. I understand you can be new player and you are welcome, but the attitude of "i know it all" when someone tries to explain and warns calmly is frustrating. -There was a player argued with me Jedi guardian is not meant for aoe. There was a tank requesting guard. When i told a tank to wait for people to heal before pulling(he doesn't know whats taunt btw) all he said git gut noob.. If you tell them otherwise they are becoming toxic or outright ignoring. This makes me a toxic player as well by losing my tolerance. Im getting tilted on vet fp's while leveling a toon! Game forces you to level your toon via gf vet fp's but it seems this is the new bw strategy for masters datacron purchases since you cant handle this cancer. Solution: Allow alternative ways to level as fast as vet fp's so we dont have to deal with this!
  15. It also depends on boss mechanics. Melee generally has disadvantage on that since you have to move away from boss etc. Even if you are doing average of 22-23k dps on dummy you wont be able to push 12k on boss. So parsing does not necessarily translate to your ops numbers. Bare in mind that not everything is dps, this game as of now mostly boils down to boss mechanics, hence if you have good reaction time with minimum fk-ups, you are providing the group more. Additionally, some classes meant and used for burst on critical boss mechanics where you have to clear adds etc asap however, they may lack on boss sustain. As for minimum* goal aim for 20k. if you are doing around 22k average you are good enough for anything.
