  1. The two are not mutually exclusive

The Sith Emperor's ritual always required a mass death to be triggered by an outside source - he plotted to initiate a war between his Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. The deaths caused by the conflict would fuel a new ritual that would allow him to consume almost everything in the galaxy and become an all-powerful god. But Revan and the Treaty of Coruscant slowed him down. After freed from Sel-Makor's grasp the Emperor attempted to initiate his galaxy-wide ritual again, wars, the atempt to blow up Belsavis, etc - before Vitiate could use the life essences of the dead to empower himself.

    As per the Revan Novel:

Every man, woman, and child on Nathema died that day. Every beast, bird, and fish; all the insects and plants; every living being touched by the Force was consumed. When the ritual ended, Nathema was no longer a world. It was a husk sucked dry. Lord Vitiate sacrificed millions, stealing their life force to make himself immortal."

    ―Darth Nyriss

    The Zildrog Codex entry says:

To achieve his goal, Vitiate used the central computer of Zildrog, an ancient superweapon from the artificial world of Iokath that specialized in the transfer of life energies, to empower himself at the cost of consuming the life force of every living thing on the plane

So, all and all, Zildrog was the catalist of the death that fueled the ritual power, it indeed consumed everything, and then with sith sorcery and technology transfered the energies in to Vitiate

  2. Locations:

    1. Strike Base Xr-484 Imp data pad by Imperial Rep vendor (Imp only)

2.Jedi Library (-671,-197) in Jedi Library

    3. The Hidden Jedi Colony on Ossus (Rep only) in Jedi colony (-299,2633)

    Thank you, found them

The rep-only lore apearing as an obtainable goal on an Imp Codex is frustrating like Hell

(Sadly, not the only one, like the Colicoid species Entry on Balmorra or the Skel bestiary entry on Hoth :( I am a Loremaster, Datacron Master, Explorer and Beastmaster, but damn, every time seeing the incomplate Codex is anyoing... frustrating!)

  3. So, I have an anoying problem, thus a few question, and maybe someone knows the answers!

As an Imperial player my Codex adamantly states, here are 19 entries on Ossus

    3 Locations (found 0)

    5 Datacrons (Found 3)

5 Lore (found all the five, yay)

6 Persons of note (found 4)

Now my question is very simple:

What the hell are the missing ones?

And what about the datacrons? There are 2 secret one, beside the:

Ossus Endurance Datacron (+2 Endurance) - Ood Bnar Codex entry and weapon tuning one

Ossus Presence Datacron (+5 Presence) - the one on the broken bridge that needs the grappling hook from a cave

Ossus Red Mastery Datacron (+6 Mastery) - the cave juming/montain climbing

So where are the two from the Codex?

Not to mention what are the 3 locations... and wehere are they? Who are the six persons of note?

    Anyone?

    Someone?

  4. To my outmost suprise, we - the ones who raised their voice and wont gave up - suceeded... to an extent

To Kuat Drive Yard still not in the Group Finder, they it seems secretly "fixed" The Ranken Initiative (Imp) / The Secret War (Pub) intro quest, so grouping up and walking in manually counts as a "queue with a Group finder and enter" requiste of the quests (and no, before the patch it not worked like that, tested several times, several toons, several number of people in the group starting with a solo to a full team, piciking up the veteran quest from the droid or just walking in, etc... no, it not worked before the Patch)

So it is possible to complete them and recive the Admiral Zasha Ranken/Admiral Bey'wan Aygo codex entries

Okay, not a 100% victory, but at least something

  5. Another toon on another server in theory - if the unlcoks works - could work, yes, but Conquest and GS somewhat overlaps, and by doing GS I help my guild too

Its my problem I know, but won't sacrifice that just to have some shiny things

Honestly, just put Tokens in the Cartel Marker, even for 200 CC/ Token, people would buy it, I'm sure

But would be better to have an alternate source after you reached lvl 100

Face it, that ~15 token you can earn while reach lvl 100 is a joke, considering the tons of stuff they offer

Sure nice to have the option to buy them for tokens... just the fact, you can't earn much to do so is a kick in the kiwis

  6. One of the weekly log-in reaward was - once - a Galactic Season Token, so it is not totaly out of the blue, happened before

After reaching lvl 100 realised, ooops, I'm a bit sort on tokens and the next season is far far FAR away... heck, even this season's end is far!

C'mon! Sign a petition, let your voice heard, it will be cool to have some extra tokens! :D

  7. Just put it back in to the Group Finder

I mean its not some impossible coding, since they ALREADY DID SIMILAR when they "restored" the GF - without Kuat Drive Yard - , after that total faliure rotation idea

Way simpler than modify those two quest so simply going in with a team would counts and the quest is completed...

BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANY YELLOW? TAKE 5 SECOND OF YOUR TIME AND REPLY, MADE AN OFFICIAL STATMENT BW AT LEAST ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM!

And make a usual empty promise, yes we will look in to it and eventually something will happen

  8. So, I'm not sure this is a bug or intentional (but I'm sure, it is not a feature), but with the removal of the Kuat Drive Yards flashpoint from the rotation/GF, this quest became simply impossible

The quest clearly says: " Queue for Flashpoint: Kuat Drive Yards via Group Finder and Enter Flashpoint"

Yes, I tried with a pre-made group, and it simply not counted

So, I know, this quest is kinda obscure, hell I would be suprised if the new players ever would visit that part of the station, but it is still a quest with some lore figures and part of the overall story

Would be nice to know, it was intentional?

    It is a bug?

    Will be fixed?

Or that quest will forever now in "develpment hell" so to speak

The ever-wise costumer service suggested to write here to make a suggestion

It was originally in the Activity Finder in 6.0

There are tons of achivemnets tied to KDY

Not to mention "The Ranken Initiative" and the republic "The Secret War” are both at the moment impossible to complete (with the related codex entries)

    Please don't be stubborn

Simply PUT IT BACK to the Group Finder list! :(

  9.

Take ArcheAge, where the best gear was crafted, and "YOLO" ("You Only Live Once", a desperate plea invoking suicidal fatalism) was almost a universal battlecry. Each time you tried to craft the next better tier of gear, there was (when I played, apparently it's changed since) a non-zero (and steadily increasing) chance that the process would *destroy* your gear.

    You should have seen AION

The enchanting and mana stones you socket (long story short, that game version of Augements) had the nasty habit to destroy every enchant and manastone in that gearpiece, and to make things fun, enchant goes up to 15; means you had to enchant 15 times, risk 15 times, with an ever incresing chace of destruction... and some gear had 5-6 manastone slots

ArcheAge with the gear was similar

A minor wonder we are not there yet with BioFail's line of thinking...

  10. The Ranken Initiative (and its Republic counterpart) literally impossible to finish without a GF

Finding a team for Kuat to finish/collect achivements is not impossible but damn hard

And while we are discussing missing FPs, its old news but Colicoid Wargame is also would be nice to have back in GF; it is more harder to find a group for Colicoid Wargame than findig a Kuat group!

(And don't tell me, just be in a guild and do it with friends. Stop. Just stop. I am in a guild, I have friends and nobody wants to do it)

Hell, its even harder than to find a team for Alchemy of Evil/Shroud last stand H4 last quets of the Seeker droid/bionocular chanins!

  11. The only statistics you can trust are those you falsified yourself.

    - Sir Winston Churchill

There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics

    - Benjamin Disraeli

  12. So the second best alternative is to simply wait: those who are in GSF because they want gear will only stay there for so long - they'll remove themselves after gearing up. Considering that most people have multiple toons and with the addition of combat styles, that can be done quite fast.

It will never stops, to be honest

Even if you put aside the fact, GSF is at the moment the best for gear because of the box and people who have alts to speed up the main gearing proces probably will continnue to gear up their alt, the Fragment-problem is still there

At the moment GSF weekly gives HUGE amount of fragments (and other mats too)

Why anyone would shoot themselves in the leg by NOT playing GSF? 2 toon = 6 wekly = 2 golden implant/upgrade

You done upgrading them? Neet, then 9 weekly ~ = 1 Ranked golden material from the 10K fragment to mat quest

even if you are not a crafter that is (minimum!) 50M pure profit for what? Half an hour of your time?

Sure they will nerf it, more or less, but still viable, if not more so

There are and will be 0 reason not to abuse GSF to hell then p*ss on its corpse

  13. Yeah

Sadly for some unknown reason the *removed* KDY from the GF list altogether

I know it is not an earth shattering "bug", and this quest is more than obscure

But for me, it was part of the story (it is after al) almost for a decade

Very "historical" so to speak, first time you meet Ranken, Kervos, the background of the GSF basic team...

The fact it is impossible to complete it is anoying

But more anoying, they not even aknowledge the fact they did this

    Not even a word!

That what is grinding my grears

  14.

The only place you will get 330 drops is wearing 330 in a MM operation.

I always wondered, why on earth someone would bother doing Nim for a high item level drop, if she/he already proved with the team (and contrary to popular belief, you have to carry your weight in a nightmare operation, or you will be booted) they are perfectly capable to nail the ops... in a lower ilvl gear than what they recive

I guess I will never understand this mentality, I will do the hardest content for the highest gear to do... the said content easier? Again. Wich not really holds any meaningfull challange since I already done it, just with lower level gear. :rak_confused:

  15. Sad but true

    Tank Aoe is terrible

Khem - who is the OG Tank, mind you - basically always misses with his AoE Taunt

And his other skills are tend to miss too, its a minor miracle if he could hold agro for one mob, but multiple?

I let that dream go long ago

And as a level 50 comp and 4000+ presence behind my back, he should be able to hold agro or keep me alive as a healer if I dare to attack more than one mob!

(and no, with max level and 327 ilvl as a veteran noob who knows the basics of my rotations, I shuldn't be able to steal my "Tank' companion's aggro, and be victim of a gang r*pe just becasue we attacked 2+ mobs - or their anoying kocnkback tossed me in the middle of another group The Illum heroic is especially problematic in this regard, 2-3 golden mob tighly packet, patroling silvers... and if you move a finger you generate so much agro, they jump you like hungry sharks smelling blood)

  16. So, I'm not sure this is a bug or intentional (but I'm sure, it is not a feature), but with the removal of the Kuat Drive Yards flashpoint from the rotation/GF, this quest became simply impossible
