  1. Wasn't Lana, Theron, Koth and Aric Jorgan supposed to get a date mission in this patch? Arcann got a scene but unable to see anything in Alliance Alerts/Quest Log for my Sith Warrior unless they weren't added? Can anyone else confirm?
  2. I was initially looking forward to 7.0 but was that seriously it? Nearly 2 years of waiting just for a small amount of story content that can be completed in less than 2 and a half hours? (Only took longer because of server lag). Even Onslaught was longer and this is supposed to be the 10 year celebration! Don't get me started on the changes to Group Finder and removal of abilities. This whole patch felt more like a small update not an "expansion". Very underwhelming.
  3. Just booted up Swtor after the patch and all of my toons waist armour is invisible! For example, my Sith Warrior has Reaver's Belt equipped on the character sheet yet I can't see it on him. Not only that, belts seem to be invisible on other player characters too. Anyone else having this issue? *EDIT* Figured it out for myself. Had to verify integrity of game files through Steam and now the belts are showing again.
  4. Honestly, I don't think they should kill off anymore companions. It spoils it for other people who liked those companions who will have little to no involvement in the story going forward. Personally, I'm not affected by the kill options since my Sith Warrior main isn't and will never romance anybody. But saying that, I would like to see other companions have a major role in the story rather than Lana Lana Lana all the time, which has happened because there's hardly anybody left who hasn't had a kill/walk away option.
  5. So my Jedi Knight's Scourge romance is still active when asking Scourge for a quiet walk? Is the walk supposed to be non-visible?
  6. I think we are getting some more story content soon. On Twitter last month (19th November), the Jedi Knight voice actors tweeted that they had been at the Swtor studio. I'd guess some lines are being recorded?
  7. In that case, it makes me wonder why they picked Qyzen to get the unique side quest out of the other 4 Consular companions if they didn't have something bigger relationship-wise planned for him? The Consular companions are pretty dull for the most part in my opinion and I find Qyzen to be the most interesting of them all but why him of all of them? On the other hand I totally see why they chose Khem for the Inquisitor's unique companion quest due to his whole feud with Zash for control of his body.
  8. So I was finishing up the Smuggler companion conversations today and completed Corso Riggs personal quest which got me wondering about something interesting. You know how each class gets one lucky companion who gets a personal side quest which takes place, usually, on a previously visited planet? These companions being: Jedi Knight - Kira Carsen Jedi Consular - Qyzen Fess Smuggler - Corso Riggs Trooper - Aric Jorgan Sith Warrior - Vette Sith Inquisitor - Khem Val Bounty Hunter - Mako Imperial Agent - Kaliyo Djannis Now every one of these companions are romance options with the exception of Khem Val and Qyzen Fess. So it got me thinking, were they originally intended to be romances but scrapped? I think it could have tied in well because for example Qyzen tells the Consular that giving a wookiee pelt in Trandoshan culture is a sign of courting and hands you one in one of his conversations, intending you to give it to either Nadia or Felix (if you romance one of them). Perhaps if he was originally meant to be a romance he could have been intending the pelt for the Consular to which, if you accept you could start a romance or you could turn it down to cancel the romance. As for Khem, he develops a bond with the Inquisitor during the vanilla story so any romance would have made sense with him especially if the Inquisitor removes Zash from his body. Of course this is all speculation but I do find it an interesting topic nevertheless.
  9. I hope there will be some conversations available with them even if it's just one to catch up over the past 5 in-game years. I'm also curious on how they will explain some of them coming back onto the ship such as Qyzen Fess seeing as he is leading the Warstalkers now, will he just give them up like nothing happened in order to rejoin you again? Same goes for Skadge leading the Black Sun and Rusk leading a group of soldiers.
  10. Thanks for confirming! And yeah I did Iokath today I was pretty sad about Elara leaving. Seems the only original Havoc Squad members I'll have left is M1-4X and Jorgan after Yuun leaves
  11. That's true but in his return chapter on Kotfe 'Disavowed', Aric himself seemed to be disillusioned with the Republic and says that the Republic that they once fought for "no longer exists". Also seeing as he lost his entire Havoc squad team at the ending of Kotfe Chapter 12, it seems like he isn't interested in serving in the Republic full-time anymore but at the same time doesn't want to fight against them. Of course this is just speculation we'll just have to wait until Onslaught.
  12. I've recently completed Kotet with my female darkside Trooper toon and kept her faithful to Aric Jorgan, her husband. I plan on making her side with the Empire on Ossus as I already have a male lightside Trooper siding with the Republic but am conflicted due to Aric Jorgan's loyalty to the Republic. Will he end up quitting the alliance if I do so? I'm aware that Yuun leaves if you side with the Empire but I haven't heard about Aric. I'm just checking as I'd be sad to see Aric go. I loved his romance story in the vanilla story (especially his awkwardness asking my Trooper to marry him xD) and it made me appreciate him as a character a lot more.
  13. I've been thinking with the new expansion coming out, will there be another opportunity to romance Lana/Theron/Koth again if you turned either of them down in Chapter 9 of Kotfe in the cantina? When Jaesa returned in 5.10, you had another opportunity to romance her as a Male Warrior even if you turned her down in the vanilla story so surely there could be another opportunity for the previously mentioned.
  14. Fair enough, personally for me Felix's romance is just kinda bland but then again I also find Nadia's romance too. I think they should definitely expand on ongoing romances but I would definitely like to see Qyzen become an option in the future for the Consular, especially since he's the only Consular companion I really use and find interesting.
  15. Personally it's not really a big issue for me. I mean what will the Inquisitor be getting from Khem Val gift-wise? Champagne and roast dinner? I highly doubt it. Qyzen would mean well giving a wookiee pelt but it would boil down to how the Consular reacts to it. First option to accept it, Second option not really bothered/question it and third option to reject it (which presumably would end the romance).
  16. You make good points, it certainly would be a complicated relationship without these questions answered. For 1, I'd say Qyzen definitely values the Scorekeeper and Hunting most of all due to his Trandoshan beliefs but I certainly see no reason for why he couldn't just as equally value the Consular as his mate as long as the Consular continued the 'Hunt' together by journeying and killing enemies which is what they do throughout the vanilla story. Especially since the Consular helps him regain his points after he got captured on Tython. But then again, it's just speculation. As for male Consulars, I have no idea. Every new romance so far has allowed same-gender relationships so I guess they would. For 2, it's a debatable question. On one hand, it could indeed be seen as heresy but on the other hand it could be seen as an honour to Qyzen that the Herald themselves had picked Qyzen, of all Trandoshans, to be their worldly partner. It would need further explaining in the lore. And for 3, children has never really been mentioned by the Consular as far as I'm aware. Even when romancing a genetically compatible LI such as Felix, Theron or Lana, having children is never mentioned so I guess it's just up for speculation again. I'm sure these questions could be answered if the lore was expanded on but we only have speculation. Even with Khem Val's romance it was kind of a quick lore explanation with him needing to "perform rituals to Mistress Death" in order to give his feelings over to the Inquisitor.
  17. Yeah it appears to be a serious relationship. I tried it on one of my Inquisitor toons and it caused a breakup with my Inquisitor and Theron lol.
  18. True but that was in context to having children or "hatchlings" as he calls them. He never said anything about objecting to having a partner. Besides he might have changed his mind years later after the Eternal Empire conflict, Khem Val did after all.
  19. Why not? When romancing Kira as an alien Jedi Knight, she mentions how they probably won't be compatible due to genetics yet you still can romance her anyway. And like Batwer said, Khem Val, the force eating monster, is a romance... So why would a Lizard-man be such a far-fetched idea for a romance at this point? Lol.
  20. I agree with all 3 points. Qyzen needs more love
  21. That is one solution but romance has always been a big part of Bioware games for character development and story. So I highly doubt that will ever happen. I only think it makes sense if the Consular and Inquisitor are mirror classes, surely they should both have the same opportunity with their mirror tank companion for romance instead of just one.
  22. I don't usually ask for individual romances but seeing as Khem Val became a romance option for the Sith Inquisitor in 5.10, isn't it only fair that the Inquisitor's mirror class, the Jedi Consular, should get a Qyzen Fess romance option too? Not to mention Qyzen is Khem's mirror companion for the Consular as they were both the early game Tanks before the companions role changes. Some may say Khem only became romanceable because of the bond between him and the Inquisitor but Qyzen sees the Consular as pretty much a demigod, as the 'Herald of the Scorekeeper' and is very protective over the Consular so it shows his bond too. Personally, Qyzen is the only companion on the Consular story I find remotely interesting due to Trandoshans being my favourite Star Wars race and I enjoy hearing about Trandoshan lore (plus he looks pretty cool). Tharan just wants to talk about his hologirl Holiday and off-screen inventions, Felix is the generic soldier companion like Rusk and Pierce who talk about their military career (yawn), Zenith is an angry rebel/politician and Nadia is the naive Padawan who can get kinda annoying. So I end up using Qyzen for pretty much the entire story. My female Miraluka Sage and Qyzen would make such a cute couple so please let us romance him Devs Maybe through an alliance alert on Odessen if we recruited him on Hoth. Of course it should be Consular's only since it wouldn't make sense as any other class.
  23. I just wanted to ask a quick question, I was thinking of starting a new Sith Warrior and was planning on romancing Theron but I don't want to play through Kotfe/Kotet again as I've done those expansions about 5 times now. So if I use the level 70 boost (Master's Datacron) and just play through Kotfe to the point where you get the lockout romance option in the cantina on Odessen, will the romance be acknowledged by Theron if I then skip to Jedi Under Siege or Iokath straight after? Thanks.
  24. Am I the only one who was a little disappointed with the lack of interaction between Khem Val and Ak'ghal Usar? I brought Ak'ghal with me when going to speak to Khem after Ossus in the cantina on Odessen expecting some kind of acknowledgement/standoff but there wasn't. Considering they are both powerful ancient Dashades and Ak'ghal even mentioning Khem during his recruitment mission on Yavin, I expected some kind of interaction. I was expecting maybe Khem would be kinda jealous that his master got a new Dashade servant and get up in each other's faces about it but nothing. It wouldn't take much either considering they don't require voice actors since their dialogue just recycles the same sounds as every other cutscene they are in. Is this something we could possibly see in the future? Especially since Dashades are one of my favourite Swtor species and it's a interaction that would make sense too
  25. True but here's the thing the forums are only speaking for a handful of people. Most people who play Swtor don't use the forums so Bioware is only getting recommendations from the same people. I can't tell you how many people I've come across in-game saying they would love a SCORPIO romance (may be a joke but I'll take at face value) for example but their voices don't get heard because they don't use the forums. Perhaps if everyone in-game migrated to the forums we'd be getting a much diverse range of what people want but right now we are only getting the same opinions.
