  1. With the help of some "i-dont-play-ranked-but" personas this whole thread became a meme. Pretty much a precise reflection of NA internets. Well done.
  2. Good podcast, watching it atm. Thanks Snave & Company.
  3. I don't even bother, 248 works fine for me. Besides pretty terrain color there's nothing interesring in Ossus, nothing that would make me invest my time into this ****. Story-wise there was no good content since 3.0
  4. That's Sharpshooter/Marksman passive. There's not much to add to the posts above, snipers shine in ranked, but only good ones. If you haven't mastered this class you'll explode in mere seconds. As a sin player, engi snipers are bane of my existence coming second after good-timed net.
  5. I don’t think tweaking a class should be based on its performance in SR, though I play strictly Hatred Sin/Serenity Shadow and I feel the pain. Just look at what they’ve done to mercs after years of players’ complaint on how poor they survive in SR. It seems like soon every class will have some kind of “oh ****” button which is dumb. I have no clue how to make Juggs more viable, but it shouldn’t be “the merc solution”. I believe there should be some work done bringing down overperforming specs- that would improve the performance of the ones that are doing poor right now. And maybe it’s just me, but I’m seeing loads of juggs in SR and a lot of them are doing great.
  6. Sins were receiving nothing but mind-boggling changes/nerfs since PW hijack. Hatred can do well in terms of numbers, it has additional 30% dmg to low-health targets, but Hatred is squishy af. And whoever was that genius who decided to tie dot spread to lacerate- thank you sir, can I have your stuff? Deception is more sturdy, but it’s damage depends on rng, mechanics got dumbed down (like hell we asked for maul now being used from whatever position dealing “slightly less damage”), and it offers only control, which is good for PvP and can do tricks in right hands. Not sure who hit you with 50K, and, yeah, you won’t get these sweet maul crits often now. Adding insult to injury- both specs now lost their 30% dmg reduction while stunned; only tanks have them. Out-of-combat stealth is not as good in current meta with nets flying around everywhere, plus any half decent player will highly have a good guess on which hole you chose to h2f. Honestly the fact that my favorite class is in such a poor state is the main reason I barely log in nowadays. You can still do good on sins/shadows depending on comp and your skill level, but then you just look at other classes and see no point being a free kill 50% of the time. Only PTs have it worse I think.
  7. Russian trolls. Hacking literally everything since 2016. Sorry for offtops, just couldn't stand it:rak_03:
  8. LoL. Back in a day I could fully gear up playing PvP from lvl 10 in max two weeks, playing 1.5- 2 hours a day, warzones only. I had 14 toons fully augmented and geared in 208s in less than a year. And I had 1 set of high end PvE gear on my shadow though I barely did PvE(don't remember what it was), mostly as a backup dps for the guild I was in back then. When did 5.0 hit? 2016? I have only 3 toons geared in 248s and augmented since then, and I don't even bother with Ossus, hell no. Casual player. Kill me with separate gear sets and expertise ASAP.
  9. +++ Separate PvP and PvE gear as in 4-x or whenever it was. Make low/mid PvP grant PvP comms so PvP players could save them to gear up when they hit cap and there is incentive to play lows/mids or simply a reason to level up through PvP only (which will affect one’s learning curve as well). Bring back expertise. You already had it that way. PvPers were more than happy. Why ruin it?
  10. My 2 cents while I’m still subbed (last loged in to PvP on the end of November, don’t plan to subscribe till 6.0 I guess). The thing that I’ve noticed as a big change since I guess BW launch of Vandin and MBR is an increase of overall player’s apathy or call it “lower involvement level”. People’s habit leaving Vandin at start (myself included, no exception for last 5-6 times I’ve played) have spread to other zones which players used to dislike but tolerate- like Odessen or Queshball. It’s like they get frustrated with Vandin, they quit wz and next pop- another one they don’t like and it kind of snowballs. Might be a confirmation bias, it’s more of my personal feeling tbh rather than an objective observation. And the next one is how easy matches are decided in first several minutes. I did not have any regs where I had to put an effort if my team performs couple of good moves at the beginning, or where I saw a chance of winning being on the team who ****ed up at start for a long time. I’d tie that to increased player’s apathy as well. I was amazed with BW’s decision to introduce new grind (not like I’m against the concept of grind itself) now, when they have so many issues they could focus on. Not sure what else to add, the game is installed, I just don’t have any desire to play it atm.
  11. I hope what they can also get from this poll is a laughable number of voters (218 atm which can be in fact even smaller if somebody voted from 2+ accounts) which can bring them to a conclusion that people are abandoning pvp and thus “we need to put an effort into it” or “we need to further kill it off”. I left my vote for Corellia though. Would like to add that I don’t see a point of introducing a new arena with all the existing problems that need to be solved, but thanks for randomly asking for our opinion I guess.
  12. Send them feedback with your wallets, that's the only languauge these folks understand. It has been said many times before and still worth repeating. Why bother with something that you detest? Unsub and monitor forums for the signs of real positive changes. In my personal opinion the game is in the worst state ever in terms of gearing, balance and bugs.
  13. I've already replied in several threads regarding new HB map and dsync. I barely recall any other map that made so many people leave as soon as it is loaded. It is not enjoyable, it is not designed to perform well with existing game engine problems and moreover it is a constant reminder to me that my devotion to SWTOR is rather a Stockholm syndrome. A friend of mine who tried this game once around 2.0 and quit after a week was watching me playing this map shortly after the patch, he laughed and asked why I’m even still playing this ****. If dsync can’t be fixed it is a good reason to leave. Any half- brain player can exploit it in many ways outside of the ****fest that happens anyway when you use mobility skills on any elevation with no intention to dissappear.
  14. I'm definitely in that 25%. New HB isn’t exciting; it’s barely *********** playable because of dsync.
