    Your auto-attack is whatever is equipped in the #1 slot on your toolbar. Make sure you didnt place an attack in that slot that requires focus.

    Companion story advancements are not dictated by affection alone, they also depend on the advancement of your own class quest. You'll hit the next chapter and have a flurry of conversations with her.

    She's the kind of person that (if she actually existed) I would expect to wake up in the middle of the night some night and find her standing at the foot of my bed. Staring at me. Mumbling incoherently. She's my favorite little serial killer.

    If she isn't your permanent companion yet, the points all go to T7. She isn't actually your companion yet the first time you get to work with her.

    I'm sure they are just trying to load-balance as best they can with respect to population. There is going to be a huge shock to the system on the 20th when the game officially launches, so I'm not surprised that this is taking place. As far as instancing goes, only the starter and capitol worlds are instanced. The Devs have also stated that they are trying to get away from this as soon as they can.
